Mrs. Alford, a native of Millen, was a homemaker and a member of True Born Church of Christ Deliverance Center. She attended Atlanta Area Technical School, where she trained as a dental assistant.
Survivors include three daughters, Latisha Alford, Monique Alford and Tiffany Alford, all of Millen; her parents, Rufus and Lannie Bailey, both of Millen; one brother, Gene Patrick Bailey, Millen; and one sister, Carolyn Bynes, Millen.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Trinity Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, Hancock County, with the Rev. R.L. Davenport officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery" target="_blank">cemetery.
Mrs. Andrews, a native of Hancock County, was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Christian Methodist Episcopal Church.
Survivors include two sons, Lucious Andrews and Willie Andrews, both of Rochester, N.Y.; two daughters, Thelma Williams and Ruby Bell, both of Warrenton; four sisters, Annie B. Tucker, Warrenton, Gladys Strother, Sparta, and Cornelia Fowler and Lillian Leslie, both of Columbus, Ohio; and 22 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Athey, a native of Augusta, was a cashier and a member of Worldwide Church of God.
Survivors include one son, John Walter Grace, Pittsboro, N.C.; and one daughter, Nancy A. Williams, Augusta; and five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Bell, a lifelong resident of Augusta, was a legal secretary for more than 50 years. A graduate of Tubman High School, she was a member of St. James United Methodist Church, where she was a member of Emma Lester Bible Class and taught Sunday school and vacation Bible school.
Survivors include a son, Charles Bell, Huntsville; a sister, Sarah M. Brown; and a grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Poteet Funeral Home, Greene Street.
