Mrs. Ida Weaver

AIKEN -- Mrs. Ida M. Hall Weaver, 46, of 439 Red Oak Drive, died Thursday, Jan. 22, 1998, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Cheatham Funeral Home, Langley, with the Rev. Sheldonia Brown officiating. Burial will be in Zion Hill Baptist Church cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery.

Mrs. Weaver, a native of Aiken, was a retired production operator.

Survivors include her husband, Wallace Weaver; two sons, Tarrance Weaver, Aiken, and Cornell Hall, Graniteville; her mother, Leola Newman Hall, Aiken; four sisters, Martha Timms, Edna Hall, Adeline Smith and Elaine Bennett, all of Aiken; and seven grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Winfield, Timothy Winfield, Pete Kennedy, Jerome Bostick, Alarick Cobbs and Robert Williams.

Friends may call at the residence or the funeral home.

The family will receive friends at noon today at the funeral home.

Mr. Ronald Webster

Retired tax accountant

HEPHZIBAH -- Mr. Ronald Wayne ``Bill" Webster, 55, of 1371 Greiner Circle, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 1998, at his residence.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at DeLoach Funeral Home, Waynesboro, with the Revs. Jack Fuqua and Stephen R. Jones officiating. Burial will be in Burke Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro.

Mr. Webster, a native of Owen County, Ky., was a retired tax accountant and had been owner and operator of Rhodes-Murphy Tax Service, Waynesboro. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of Burns Memorial United Methodist Church, Augusta. He was a member and had been secretary of Waynesboro Exchange Club. He served in the Army Reserve's 382nd field hospital as a medic.

Survivors include his wife, Edith J.H. Webster; three daughters, Diana Adams and Carol Murray, both of Puyallup, Wash., and SeJana Vaught, Portland, Ore.; three brothers, Bobby G. Webster, New Liberty, Ky., Gary C. Webster, Erlanger, Ky., and Jimmy A. Webster, Niceville, Fla.; and eight grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Ronald R. Cliett, Jimmy G. Williams, Leonard Hill, Johnny Jenkins, John C. Lewis, Bill Van Pelt, Randy M. Crawford and Hugh Avery.

Mrs. Eva Daggett

Retiree

THOMSON -- Mrs. Eva Usry Daggett, 79, of 1799 Wrightsboro Road, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 1998, in McDuffie County.

The funeral will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Whiteoak Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. C.H. Forth officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery" target="_blank">cemetery.

Mrs. Daggett, a native of Washington County, was a retired lunchroom employee with the McDuffie County Board of Education. She was a member of Whiteoak Grove Baptist Church, the Olive Leaf Court No. 17, Heroines of Jericho and the Olive Leaf Court No. 59 of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include four sons, Joseph Sims, Atlanta, Bobby Daggett and Billy Daggett, both of Thomson, and Donnie Daggett, Detroit; one daughter, Patsy Daggett, Thomson; three stepsons, Herman Daggett, Atlanta, Rudolph Daggett, Ohio, and Weldon Daggett, Washington, D.C.; one stepdaughter, Mabel Daggett, Cleveland, Ohio; and 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the residence of Bobby and Mary Daggett, 1757 Daggett Road, or Thomson Funeral System.

Mrs. Mary Clark

STATESBORO, Ga. -- Mrs. Mary Bell Clark, 79, died Friday, Jan. 23, 1998, at Bulloch Memorial Hospital.

The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at Newington United Methodist Church, Newington, with the Revs. William C. Brown and Don Northup officiating. Burial will be in Newington City cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery.

Mrs. Clark, a native of Screven County, was a member of Pittman Park United Methodist Church, where she was a member of Agape Circle and a Sunshine Person. She was a member of the Blue Ray Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include three sisters-in-law, Marjorie Bell, Statesboro, Sara Bell, Martinez, and Jo Bell Volf, Sylvania.

Pallbearers will be Leslie Bell, Adam Bell, Duggie Bell, Archer Bell, Tommy Bell and Rick Bell.

Memorials may be made to Newington United Methodist Church, c/o Brenda Scott, 327 Middleground Road, Newington, GA 30446.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home, Sylvania.

Miss Helen Cales

Self-employed tailor

Miss Helen Cales, 81, of 3724 Washington Road, Martinez, died Thursday, Jan. 22, 1998, at University Hospital.

Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. today in Magnolia cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery with the Rev. Hal Hodgens officiating.

Miss Cales, a native of Montgomery, Ala., was a self-employed tailor.

Survivors include one sister-in-law, Bernice Cales, Inglewood, Calif.

Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Telfair Street, is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Carroll Bozard

CONYERS, Ga. -- Mr. Carroll E. ``Blackie" Bozard, died Thursday, Jan. 22, 1998.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Harry L. White Funeral Home with Jim Jordan officiating. Burial will be in Green Meadow Memorial Gardens, Conyers.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Bozard; two sons, Russell Bozard, Pompano Beach, Fla., and Rex Bozard, Covington; two daughters, Priscilla Elaine Newsome, Hephzibah, and Carolyn Sanders-Adams, Conyers; four brothers, Henry T. Bozard and Andrew D. Bozard, both of Orangeburg, E.A. Bozard Jr., Augoff, S.C., and Jimmy R. Bozard, Marietta; one sister, Kathryn Bozard Sharp, Rock Hill, S.C.; and seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Mabel Bolin

MARIETTA, Ga. -- Mrs. Mabel Jackson Bolin, 93, of 683 Serramonte Drive, died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 1998, at North Side Hospital, Atlanta.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at Shellhouse Funeral Home, Aiken, with the Rev. Eugene M. Mullikin officiating. Burial will be in Aiken Memorial cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery.

Mrs. Bolin, a native of White House, Tenn., was a homemaker and a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church, where she was a member of Katie Williams Bible Class. She was a lifetime member of Garden Maker Club and the Mae Steadman Circle No. 13.

Survivors include one brother, Arthur Berry Jackson, Madison, Tenn.; and one sister, Lorene Jackson Steakley, Madison.

Memorials may be made to St. John's United Methodist Church, 104 Newberry St., Aiken, SC 29801.

Ms. Julia Bennett

SAVANNAH -- Ms. Julia M. Bennett, 97, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 1998, at her residence.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Bar Camp Baptist Church, Waynesboro, with the Rev. E.J. Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Bar Camp cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery.

Ms. Bennett, a native of Burke County, was a homemaker and a member of Bar Camp Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, Wilkin Bennett, Savannah; one daughter, Leola B. Holmes, Savannah; one brother, Tommie L. Solomon, Philadelphia; one sister, Ida Burch, Florence, S.C.; and six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of Bar Camp Baptist Church.

Dwight's Funeral Home, Millen, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Bertha Attaway

WASHINGTON -- Mrs. Bertha Bouknight Attaway, 100, died Monday, Jan. 19, 1998, at her residence.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Mount Calvary Baptist Church, Johnston, S.C., with the Rev. Lewis Burt officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery" target="_blank">cemetery.

Mrs. Attaway, a native of Edgefield County, was a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include five sons, M.C. Attaway and Joseph Attaway, both of Johnston, Robert L. Attaway, Rock Hill, S.C., Benjamin Attaway, Washington, and Ware Attaway, Jamaica, N.Y.; two daughters, Lydia R. Jones, Washington, and Anna Willette Attaway, Philadelphia; and 19 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Johnthon Bryant, LaQue Bryant, Phillip Bryant, Dexter Attaway, George Hammonds and Willie R. Dash.

Miss Parnell Baldwin

Miss Parnell Baldwin of 3034 Gibson Drive died Friday, Jan. 23, 1998, at Medical College of Georgia Hospital.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Episcopal Church with the Rev. Cannon Lewis F. Bohler Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Southview cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery.

Miss Baldwin, a native of Augusta, was a 1967 graduate of Lucy C. Laney High School and a member of St. Mary Episcopal Church.

Survivors include two brothers, Joseph Baldwin, Augusta, and Paul Baldwin, Jacksonville, Fla.; and two sisters, Yvonne Fraser, Killeen, Texas, and Patricia Baldwin, Atlanta.

Friends may call at 2407 Antebellum Drive, Apartment B, or at Williams Funeral Home.

Mr. William Barker Sr.

Restaurant owner

NEW YORK -- Mr. William Barker Sr., 82, of 762 E. 105th St., Brooklyn, died Monday, Jan. 19, 1998, at Brooklyn Hospital.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Mount Calvary Baptist Church, Ulmer, S.C., with the Rev. Harry Murdaugh officiating. Burial will be in Hayes cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery, Ulmer.

Mr. Barker, a native of Allendale County, S.C., was a longtime resident of New York. He owned and operated Barker's Barbecue, and he was a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church and Tabernacle House of Prayer.

Survivors include his wife, Dora G. Barker; two sons, Wilmer Barker Jr. and Richard Barker; a daughter, Joann Barker; and six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be friends of the family.

The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 6 p.m. today at Miller's Funeral Home, Aiken.
