FAIRFAX, S.C. -- Mr. Tony Roderick Stanley, 44, of Route 1, died Sunday, Jan. 11, 1998, at Allendale Hospital.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Bethel cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery.

Mr. Stanley, a native of Hampton, was a construction worker.

Survivors include three sons, Tony Stanley Jr., Richard S. Stanley and James Stanley; one daughter, Joni Brooke Stanley; one brother, Billy Stanley; three sisters, Louise Long, Connie Winn and Betty All; and two grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at 10 a.m. today at Smith-Rhoden Funeral Home, Allendale.

Mr. James Summerour

Insurance salesman

ATHENS, Ga. -- Mr. James Patrick ``Pat" Summerour, 74, of College Place Apartments, Apt. M-7, died Saturday, Jan. 10, 1998, at Family Life Enrichment Center, High Shoals.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church with the Rev. Ray Austin officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery.

Mr. Summerour, a native of Fulton County, was an insurance salesman and a member of First Christian Church.

Pallbearers will be deacons of First Christian Church.

Memorials may be made to First Christian Church Kitchen Fund.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church.

Mr. Leroy Usry

Retired factory worker

THOMSON -- Mr. Leroy Usry, 75, of 506 Anderson Ave., died Sunday, Jan. 11, 1998, at McDuffie County Hospital.

The funeral was Monday at Mitchell Full Gospel Church, Mitchell, with the Rev. Eddie Renew officiating. Burial will be in Mount Zion Congregational Methodist Church cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery, Mitchell.

Mr. Usry, a native of Glascock County, was a retired factory worker.

Survivors include his stepmother, Ethel Wood, Thomson; one brother, William Junior Usry, Thomson; and three sisters, Sara Usry Cook, Yulee, Fla., Frances Usry Williams, Thomson, and Gladys Usry Happ, Lincolnton.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Warren, Billy Kitchens, Dave Dotson and Kevin Abstance.

Sheppard Funeral Home, Gibson, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Ethel Watkins

Retired homemaker

Mrs. Ethel Mae Watkins, 79, of 918 Laney Walker Blvd., died Friday, Jan. 9, 1998, at West Lake Manor Health Care Center.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Beulah Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Sam Davis officiating. Burial will be in Walker Memorial Park.

Mrs. Watkins, a native of Columbia County, was a retired homemaker and a member of Beulah Grove Baptist Church, where she served on the senior usher board.

Survivors include one brother, Floyd Marshall, Atlanta; and four sisters, Laura Nabritt, Augusta, Jesse Boom, New York, Adlel Marshall, New York, and Johnnie Mae Marshall, Atlanta.

Pallbearers will be executive ministers of Beulah Grove Baptist Church.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of Ushers Union of Georgia.

Friends may call at 213 Calvary Drive.

Mrs. Maureen Earwood

ANDERSON, S.C. -- Mrs. Maureen Nichols Earwood, 97, of Westwood Nursing Home, died Wednesday, Jan. 14, 1998, at University Hospital.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Sullivan-King Mortuary. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Mrs. Earwood, a native of Atlanta, was a homemaker. She was a member of Warren Baptist Church, Augusta, and had been a member of First Baptist Church of Anderson.

Survivors include one son, Floyd Earwood Jr., Anderson; one daughter, Sharlene E. Jones, West Columbia; one sister, Thelma McVrayer, Marietta; and three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the residence of Floyd Earwood Jr., 2001 Lindale Road.

Mrs. Naomi P. Estroff, 85, of 1002 Katherine St., died Wednesday, Jan. 14, 1998, at her residence.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m Friday in Magnolia cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery with the Rabbi Alex Greenbaum and Rabbi Jordan Parr officiating.

Mrs. Estroff, a native of Augusta, was a homemaker and a member of Adas Yeshurun Synagogue and Congregation Children of Israel Walton Way Temple. She was a lifetime member of Hadassah Ladies Auxiliary of St. Joseph Hospital.

Survivors include two sons, Malcolm C. Estroff, Augusta, and Simon Estroff, Charlotte, N.C.; one daughter, Dale E. Toporek, Augusta; one brother, Sanford Pomerance, Cocoanut Grove, Fla.; one sister, Evelyn P. Glasser, Altamonte Springs, Fla.; and 14 grandchildren and seven grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Brian Estroff, Seth Toporek, Jeffrey Estroff, Eric Estroff, Evan Toporek, Harris Hartman, Dov Estroff, Jeremy Estroff and Jordan Estroff.

EDGEFIELD, S.C. -- Mrs. Louise Brodie Godbee, 81, of 1034 Augusta Road, died Wednesday, Jan. 14, 1998, at Edgefield County Hospital.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home with the Rev. Barry Brown officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Memorial Park.

Mrs. Godbee, a native of Aiken County, was retired from Lily Tulip Cup Co. and was a member of Edgefield United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Charlie E. Godbee; one brother, James Brodie, Edgefield; and three sisters, Betty B. Bedenbaugh and Katherine B. Hutto, both of Edgefield, and Pauline B. Ebersole, Martinez.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m Saturday at Hatcher Funeral Home, Langley, with the Revs. Ron Doss and Joe Reed officiating. Burial will be in Graniteville cemetery" target="_blank">Cemetery, Graniteville.

Mrs. Hatcher, a native of Warren County, Ga., was a homemaker and a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church, Langley, where she was a member of the senior adult Sunday school class.

Survivors include her husband, Cary F. Hatcher; two sons, Freddie Hatcher and Jerry Hatcher; three daughters, Alice Hatcher Filyaw, Nellie Hatcher Eubanks and Mary Hatcher Rankin; one sister, Ola Young, all of Warrenville; and 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Bubba Toole, Mike Haltiwanger, Jake Heath, Ed Miller, Johnny Argo, Joe Boyd, Martin Posey and Kenneth King.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the senior adult Sunday school class of Pine Forest Baptist Church.

Mrs. Jones, a native of Jenkins, was a member of Christian Renewal Church and Fairhaven United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Caroline Jones, Augusta, and Barbara Jones Lindgren, St. Simons Island; one sister, Maude M. Calhoun, New Port Richey, Fla.; and three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
