Susie Tillman
MCRAE - Services for Susie Tillman will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in The Religious Center with burial in Green Grove Cemetery.

Tillman, 88, died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2000.

She was a member of Green Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children, Luvenia Thomas, Irene Perry of McRae, Bennie Tillman and Willie Tillman, both of Alamo, Eugene Tillman of Ne York City; sister, Jewel Ashley; 28 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at 11 a.m. Saturday in A.L. Spaulding Funeral Home.

George Tillson
PERRY - Services for George Woodroe Tillson will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Tillson, 82, died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2000.

He was born in Texas , son of the late Steve and Lois Goodwin Tillson.

He was a retired major serving in the Air Force during World War II and was a retired citrus farmer. He was a former flight instructor and worked for the state of Texas Water Control Board. The widower of Winoford Tillson, he attended First Baptist Church of Perry.

Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Tillson; son, Terry Tillson of Perry; stepchildren, Loyce Kemp of Warner Robins, James Avera of Macon, Joyce Daugherty of Oglethorpe, Kay Shugart of Perry and Mona Shehee of Byron; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. today in Watson-Hunt Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, c/o Nancy Brown, 1110 Pine Needle Drive, Perry 31069.

James Tolbert Sr.
CORDELE - Services for James E. Tolbert Sr. will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Greater Morris Baptist Church with burial in Bethel Cemetery. Tolbert, 32, died Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2000.

Survivors include his children, Ja Lisa L. Tolbert of Tifton and James Tolbert Jr. of Cordele; mother, Kathleen Tolbert of Cordele; sister and brothers, Mary West and Ceasear Tolbert Jr. of Cordele, and Calondrius Hayes Sr.

J.W. Williams Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Tracy Westberry
FITZGERALD - Services for Tracy Westberry will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Paulk Funeral Home with burial in Evergreen Cemetery.

Westberry, 68, died Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2000.

He was district manager of United Family Life Insurance and was a sales representative at Liberty National Life Insurance Co. in Waycross.

He was associated with Dixie Lilly Milling Co. and was owner and operator of Red Rooster Convenience Store.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Westberry; children, Denise Westberry of Blue Ridge, Alan Westberry of Fitzgerald and Glenn Westberry of Leesburg; brother and sisters, Howard Westberry of Jesup, Frances Waters and Ruby Sauls, both of Blackshear, and Edna Justice of Waycross; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Lucy Young
MILLEDGEVILLE - Services for Lucy Macklin Young will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Slater's Funeral Home with burial in Austin Memorial Gardens.

Young, 103, died Monday, Aug. 7, 2000, at her residence after a long illness.

She was born in Hancock County, daughter of the late Ned and Sarah Macklin. She was a member of Lee's Chapel CME Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Eva Roberts of Milledgeville; and six grandchildren.

Robert Attaway
HAWKINSVILLE - Services for Robert Marion Attaway will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Houston Lake Baptist Church Cemetery.

Robert died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2000.

Survivors include his parents, John and Chantel Attaway; brothers, Kyle Attaway and John Attaway of Hawkinsville; grandparents, Joann and Johnny Attaway of Macon, Linda and Tommy Ashmore of Hawkinsville, Lori and David Diring of Warner Robins, Kathy and Dale Farris of Missouri, and Marie Kate; and great-grandparents, Margaret Attaway of Perry, Frances Dunagan of Abbeville and Mary and George Brauner of Missouri.

Family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight in Watson-Hunt Funeral Home.

Robert Benge
Services for Robert Oliver "Bobby" Benge will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.

Benge died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000.

He was retired from Robins Air Force Base and was a member of Peace Officer Association of Georgia, Mickey Fuller Masonic Lodge, Robins Air Force Base Officers Club, past president and instructor of Robins Aquarant Scuba Club, former Cub Scout master and Boy Scout leader.

He was a member of Mabel White Memorial Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, grace Benge; children, Neal Benge of Byron and Nancy Gibbs of Cordele; brothers, Dickie Benge and Tommy Benge of Macon; and six grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight in Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue.

Edsel Burch
CADWELL - Services for Edsel Mallery Burch will be at 2 p.m. today in Cadwell City Cemetery.

Burch, 72, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2000.

He was a retired mail clerk from Cadwell Central Correctional Probation Center.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Burch; children, Jack Burch and Kay Burch of Decatur, and Jan Hogan of Jackson; sisters, Addis Hall of Macon and Mildred Smith of Cadwell; two grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Hospice of Laurens County, 1103 Bellevue Ave., Dublin 31021. Richard and Joyce Stanley Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Arthur Cox Jr.
WARNER ROBINS - Services for Arthur Lee Cox Jr. will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Nelson's Memorial Mortuary with burial in Oak Grove Church Cemetery. Cox died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2000. He was retired from the city of Warner Robins.

Survivors include his children, Diana Cox and Arthur Lee Cox III of Warner Robins; brother and sisters, Clarence Cox, Mary Clayborn and Nellie Ridgell of Warner Robins; and four grandchildren.

Family will be at 223 Madrid St.

Christopher Cunningham
Services for Christopher Cunningham will be at noon Tuesday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Cunningham, 41, died Friday, Feb. 25, 2000.

He was a painter and Catholic.

Survivors include his parents, Janis Bassett of Louisville, Ky., and Robert Cunningham of Macon; children, Deresa Cunningham and Bobby Cunningham; sisters and brothers, Alice Wilson Toni Cunningham and Tammy Cunningham, all of Louisville, Connie Spires of Juliette, Thomas Cunningham of Byron, David Bassett of Louisville, Charles Cunningham of Warner Robins; and grandmother, Mary Carroll.

Family will receive friends from 9 a.m. Monday until following the rosary in Snow's Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street.

Thomas Fletcher
JULIETTE - Services for Thomas Taylor "Tom" Fletcher will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Vineville United Methodist Church with burial at 4:15 in Forsyth City Cemetery, with military honors.

Fletcher, 83, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2000.

An Army veteran of World War II, he was retired from Southern Bell.

He was a member of Vineville United Methodist Church and Ed Cooke Sunday School Class.

Survivors include his wife, Jeannette Fletcher; son, Thomas Fletcher of Juliette; brother, Jack Fletcher of Forsyth; and two grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 tonight in Snow's Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street.

Memorials may be made to Methodist Home for Children and Youth, 304 Pierce Ave., Macon 31214.

Iris Gillis
ADRIAN - Services for Iris Mackey Gillis will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Adrian United Methodist Church with burial in Poplar Springs Cemetery.

Gillis, 75, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2000.

She was the founder of Adrian Chapter of Girl Scouts of America, regent of James Hardwick Chapter and state officer of Daughters of American Colonists, flag chairman of John Laurens Chapter of DAR, member of American Legion Auxiliary and president of the Garden Club.

She was a member of Adrian United Methodist Church, was a Sunday School teacher, president of United Methodist Women, founding member of Friendship Club and Youth Group leader.

Survivors include her husband, Carl Gillis Jr.; children, Connie Wammock and Gwenda Gillis of Adrian, Gayla Reed of Alexandria, Va., and Gil Gillis of Dublin; sister, Doris Huey; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 2623 Washington Road, Building F No. 104, Augusta 30904 or American Heart Association, 1685 Terrell Mill Road, Marietta 30067.

Adams Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Doris Haff
DUBLIN - Services for Doris L. Haff will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in First United Methodist Church with burial in Northview Cemetery.

Haff, 63, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2000. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and Women of the Moose Chapter 121.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Haff; children, Jason Haff and Denise Jump of Dublin; mother, Blanche Plank of Fort Plain, N.Y.; sisters, Shirley Wittmann of Albany, N.Y., Kathy Meehan of Scopia, N.Y., and Marshia Seeley of Fort Plain; and four grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight in Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
