Joyce A. Pollard
Joyce A. Pollard, age 76, of McDonough, Georgia, passed away April 5, 2009. She was born
in Anderson, South Carolina, to the late Joseph and Gladys Todd Holbrook. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, James Lewis Pollard and a brother, Keith Kea-ton. She retired after 20 years as a teacher’s aid and was a parishioner of St. James the Apostle Catholic Church.
Survivors include her children, Anthony T. Pollard of McDonough, Cheryl A. (Charles) Sargent of McDonough, Richard J. (Michelle) Pollard of Baltimore, Maryland, Michael D. (Audrey) Pollard of Dallas, Teresa M. (Doug) Crowson of Hampton; 18 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; sister, Daryl (David) Foyer of Clarksville, Tennessee; brother, Steve Keaton of Anderson, South Carolina.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, April 9, at 10:30 a.m. from St. James the Apostle Catholic Church. Deacon Pat Gillespie will officiate. Interment at Haisten/Eastlawn Memorial Park. Friends may visit the family Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Monastery of the Holy Spirit in memory of Mrs. Pollard. James Robert Moore
James Robert Moore, age 68, of McDonough, Georgia, passed away April 7, 2009. Mr. Moore was born
in Fulton County the son of the late Vera Magnolia Reeves and Huie Keith Moore. Mr. Moore served his country in the US Army; he was a previous member of Buford Highway Baptist Church and a member of McDonough Baptist Tabernacle Church, where he served as a deacon for a total of 37 years. He enjoyed being with his family and his wonderful grandchildren, his church family, and he enjoyed fishing.
Survivors are his wife of 44 years, Tandy Avera Moore of McDonough; children, Christa and Larry Mooney of McDonough, Linda and Jimbo Ethridge of Stockbridge, and James Robert Moore Jr. and Lindsay of Ft. Pierce, Florida; grandchildren, Jacob, Tandy Elizabeth (Beth), Emilee, Kaylee and Eric; brother, Tommy Moore of Alpharetta; sisters, Janice Cronan of Mexico Beach, Florida and Margaret Hancock of Flowery Branch; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service for Mr. Moore will be April 9 at 2 p.m. at McDonough Baptist Tabernacle with Rev. James West officiating. Interment at Haisten/Eastlawn Memorial Park. James Robert McAdams
James Robert (Bob) McAdams, age 71, of McDonough, Georgia, passed away March 8, 2009. He was born
in Fulton County to the late Wallace and Mildred Mc-Adams. Mr. McAdams retired as a Master Sergeant from the Unit-ed States Air Force. He enjoyed woodworking and golf (both playing and watching). Mr. Mc-Adams was preceded in death by his nephew, Jeff Stephens, and cousin, LuAnn Jones.
He is survived by his sister, A-lice Stephens; nephew, Jim Stephens; niece, Lisa Henderson; aunt, June Marlow; and cousin, Hattie Moore.
The body was cremated. A memorial service will be held April 5. Airport Mortuary, Atlanta.
Michael Lee Rawls
Michael Lee Rawls, age 63, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away March 21, 2009. Mr. Rawls was born
in Fulton County, the son of the late Dorothy and Herschel Rawls. He served his country in the U.S. Navy, receiving a Vietnam service medal. Mike enjoyed making quarter scale model planes, motorcycles, boating, softball, roller skating and painting cars in his shop .
Survivors are his wife, Cheryl Rawls of Jackson; sons, Chris, Carey and Kevin Rawls all of Jackson; sister, Connie Lewis of Lawrenceville; aunt, Hazel Riker of Jackson; and nieces.
Funeral service for Mike Rawls was March 24 in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Interment followed at Georgia Veterans Cemetery

Wilma Iona Herbert
Wilma Iona Herbert, age 89 of Stockbridge, Georgia, passed away March 22, 2009. She was born
in Bainbridge to the late Rosa Ell Windsor and Harvey Justice Parker. Mrs. Herbert was a member of Eagles Landing Baptist Church. She served God through prayer and cooking for friends and family and was a devoted mother, grandmother
and great-grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Ray Herbert; brother, York Parker and sisters, Margaret Majors and Frances Yeats.
Survivors include her children, Cheryl (Don) Hand of Union Bridge, Maryland, Patsy (Dan) Huckaby of Stockbridge; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Merle Callison of Florida; several nieces and nephews.

Janet Odum Henning
Janet Odum Henning, age 50, of McDonough, Georgia, formerly of East Point died, March 22, 2009. Mrs. Henning was a member of New Testament Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband George Henning of McDonough; mother, Marilyn Odum of East Point; one son, Gary Paul Farmer of McDonough; one daughter, Amellia Michelle Haralson of Hampton; eight grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Friday, March 27 at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home in East Point. Rev. Jay Dockweiler officiated. Interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Car-michael-Hemperley Funeral Home.
Mary Inez Stoudmayer Stalnaker
Mary Inez Stoudmayer Stalnaker, age 85, of McDonough, Georgia, passed away March 25, 2009. Mrs. Stalnaker was born
in LaGrange, the daughter of the late Suequett Pike and Vance Staudmayer. She was a very private person and devoted homemaker who loved her family. Her husband, William Louis Stalnaker, son, Bobby Lee Stalnaker; grandchild, Rusty Stalnaker and all of her siblings preceded her in death.
Survivors are her children, Linda Watson of Navarre, Florida, Brenda Sailors (Larry) of McDonough, Bill Stalnaker (Sue) of Rome and Larry Stalnaker (Linda) of McDonough; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, several nieces and nep-hews.
