She was a wonderful wife and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Cannon Methodist Church. She did volunteer work for many years for Gwinnett County Senior Citizens. But most of all, she "Danced".
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 2, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at Wages Lawrenceville Chapel with Rev. Amy Morgan officiating. Private entombment will follow at East Shadowlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Billie Jean Warren Violand, 79, of Lawrenceville, Georgia died on September 26, 2005. She was a loving mother and homemaker. She is preceded in death by her husband James W. Survivors include two sons, Michael James of Indianapolis, Indiana, William Franklin of St. Louis, Missouri, four daughters, Julie Anne of Marietta, Susan Marie of Ocean City, Maryland, Edith Jane of Lawrenceville and Margaret Mary of Suwanee.
Other survivors include one sister Jo Ann of Wooster, Ohio, twenty grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, September 29 at 11 am at Wages Snellville Chapel with Fr. Neil Jones serving as celebrant. Homer Travis Brown, age 59, of Oxford, died on Friday, February 2, 2007. Mr. Brown was of the Baptist faith and will be remembered for his great sense of humor and that he lived each day to the fullest. Mr. Brown was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
