JOHNSTON: Mary Gladys Johnston, age 77 of Jasper, GA died November 23, 2003. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Johnston and daughter, Brenda Wofford, and is survived by, Daughter, Becky and Norman Mulkey of Jasper; Son, Franklin Preston Hewatt of Stone Mountain; Sister, Betty H. Jones of Savannah; Brother, Billy and Sharon Hembree of Albany; 6 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren; Several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
Mrs. Johnston a homemaker was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and will be missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 26 at 3pm at Wages Snellville Chapel with Rev. Herman Mulkey officiating. Interment Eternal Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2 until 4 and 6 until 9pm and Wednesday from 9am until service time, at the funeral home.

DORTON: Arthur M. Dorton, Sr., age 84 of Scottdale, GA died Tuesday, November 25, 2003. He served in World War II in the Army Air Corp and was employed with Scottdale Mills for 43 years.

John Charles Gullickson
GULLICKSON, John Charles Gullickson, age 63 of Lawrenceville, GA passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2004.
Mr. Gullickson was born
in Chattanooga, Tennessee on October 5, 1940. He is survived by Nancy, his loving wife of 38 years and his two children; Christy and Jay. John graduated from Georgia Tech in 1963 and attained his Law degree from Emory University in 1966. John served his country as an officer in the United States Navy stationed on the USS Blandy (DD-943) in Vietnam from 1966 to 1969. In 1969 he was stationed with the Manned Spacecraft Recovery Force where he received the Apollo Achievement Award for participation in Apollo 11's first landing on the moon. In 1972 he and Nancy settled into Lawrenceville. In 1976 he served on the board of directors of the United Way where he chaired the Gwinnett County United Way Advisory Committee for two years. In the 1980's he re-kindled his law career first as a Magistrate Judge of Gwinnett County for seven years then by opening his private law practice where he became a respected member of the legal community for almost 20 years.

Mrs. Wise came to America at the age of 18 and worked in Manhattan until she met her husband Lloyd. After they married
in 1970 they moved to Ft. Lauderdale, FL. In 1975 they moved to the Atlanta area where she started Easy Does It Florist in Snellville and operated the business until Multiple Sclerosis made her unable to work any longer.
