FITZGERALD - Services for Nellie B. Champion will be at 4 p.m. Friday in Paulk Funeral Home with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Champion, 88, died Tuesday, April 27, 1999, in an Atlanta hospital. She was formerly employed by H.R. Kaminsky & Sons and Dixie Peanut Mill and was a machine operator, retired from Fitzgerald Mills. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include her son, Emory Champion; brother and sister, William Barnes of Fitzgerald and Lee Walker of Milan; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

OCILLA - Services for Jessie Hunter Dill will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Paulk Funeral Home, Ocilla, with burial in Ocilla Cemetery. Dill, 91, died Wednesday, April 28, 1999. She was the daughter of the late H.M. and Susie Luke Hunter. The widow of John Hoyt Dill, she was a nurse, retired from Irwin County Hospital and Osceola Nursing Home.
Survivors include her son, Jack Carlton of Bowling Green, Fla.; sister, Betty Bracket of Paradise, Calif.; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Services for J.C. Fitzpatrick will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday in Antioch Baptist Church, Dry Branch, with burial in the church cemetery. Fitzpatrick, 89, died Thursday, April 22, 1999, in a local nursing home. Born in Twiggs County, he was the son of the late Bennie Lee and Susie M. Fitzpatrick. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, was Sunday School superintendent for 56 years, assistant chairman of the deacon board for 38 years and chairman of the building union for 40 years.
Survivors include his aunt, Bessie Parker of Dry Branch; and cousin, Bennie Lee Calhoun of Macon.

Born in Sumter County, S.C., he was the son of the late Hobert and Nethia Greene. An Army veteran of World War II, he was retired from Ford Motor Co. The widower of Viola Greene, he was a member of Lizzie Bloomer Baptist Church.
Survivors include his sisters, Louvenia Toles of Cleveland, Ohio, Thelma Pearman of Lithonia and Mary Anne Greene of Unionville, Pa.

Lucius Jordan Sr.
Services for Lucius Jordan Sr. will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Hutchings Funeral Home with burial in Saints Rest Cemetery. Jordan, 67, died Monday, April 26, 1999, at his residence after a brief illness. Born in Houston County, he was the son of the late Willie Jordan Sr. and and Beatrice Mathis Jordan. He was a Korean War veteran and served in the Army Reserve. He was formerly employed as a fork-lift driver at Robins Air Force Base and was a supervisor at Macon Builders Supply for 30 years. He was president of the New Associated Men's Social & Savings Club.
