Mr. Harris was born
in Austell, Ga. July 24, 1954 to the late William Curtis Harris Sr. and Elsie Harris. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Caron Benson Harris of Newnan; mother, Elsie Harris of Austell; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sylvia and Jimmy Baker of Douglasville, Ann and Gerald Harmon of Powder Springs; seven nieces, five great-nieces and four great-nephews.

Mrs. Craft was born
Sept. 8, 1914, in Colbert County, Ala., to the late James and Ellen Martin Tarrance. She had lived in Hogansville since 1939, was a a member of St. James United Methodist Church in Hogansville, and retired from Uniroyal, Inc., after 41 years of service. She was the wife of the late Bryant Craft.

Miss Harris was born
Aug. 25, 1911, in Heard County to the late William Edward Harris and the late Martha Eleanor Norwood Harris. She lived in Hogansville most of her life, was a member of Highland Baptist Church in Hogansville, and was retired from the Hillside Division of Milliken and Company in LaGrange.

Mrs. Ola Mae Furlow Sims, 82, of LaGrange, died Saturday, Feb. 15, 2003, at Twin Fountains Home in LaGrange.
Mrs. Sims was born
March 30, 1920, in Coweta County, to the late Alvin and Beulah Furlow. She lived in Troup County most of her life, was a member of the Baptist church, and had been employed at West Point Pepperell Manufacturing Company In LaGrange. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Sims, son John Alvin Sims, and daughter Nellie Edwards.

Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Ransby Potts, of Newnan, will be today at 3 p.m. at Russell Temple A. M. E. Church, with Rev. Clinton Melson officiating and assisted by Rev. J. W. Russell Sr., Rev. Willie Johnson and other ministers. Interment will be at Eastview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons, great grandsons and nephews.
Mrs. Potts was born
in Heard County on May 5, 1908, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Bill and Beaulah Ransby. She was the second of nine siblings. She survived all but the youngest sister, Mrs. Winnie White of Cincinnati, Ohio.
She joined The Bethel Heard Baptist Church as a child, and later married
the late Quillian Potts. After moving to College Park, she joined The Friendship Baptist Church of College Park. Mrs. Potts served faithfully on the Mother Board until her health failed. She returned to Newnan to live with her daughter and son-in-law in 1993.
Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Minnie Vaughn and son-in-law, Rev. Grady B. Vaughn; four grand children, Bobby Vaughn of Macon, Larry (Patricia) Vaughn of East Point, Mary (Larry) Paige of Fairburn and Brenda Griffin of Newnan; seven great grandchildren, Gerald (Lisa) Vaughn, Philip (Tina) Vaughn, Charlotte Vaughn, Alison Griffin, Samantha Vaughn, Max Paige and Marlon Paige; four great-great grand children, Jeremy Vaughn, LaShae Vaughn, Ashton Vaughn and Jeneche Vaughn; two brothers-in-law, Charles Potts of Franklin and Albert Potts of Atlanta; three sisters-in-law, Hazel Geter and Willie Potts of Newnan, Hilda Turner of Franklin and Lorena Potts of Carrollton; several nieces and nephews; and two special friends, Mrs. Eunice Geter and Mrs. Mary Braswell of College Park.

She was born
in Coweta County on Oct. 14, 1911. She was a retired textile worker.
Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Luther Wilson; a son, John Wesley Wilson; her father, John A. Couch; and her mother, Harriett A. Lloyd.
Mrs. Wilson is survived by her three daughters, Bernice Quick of Senoia, Ellen Crawford Bryan of Sharpsburg and Reba Wilson of Newnan; 14 grandchildren; 9 step-grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.

Mr. Douglas Joseph Begley, 47, of Newnan, Ga., died Saturday, Feb. 8, 2003.
Mr. Begley was born
to Joseph and Elizabeth Begley in 1955 in Hialeah, Fla. He attended the University of Oklahoma and the University of Miami before joining Southern Bell Telephone in Miami, Fla. In 1985 he transferred to the Newnan area and worked as a Service Technician. His favorite pastimes included snorkeling, cruising and hunting. Mr. Begley will be remembered for his great sense of humor, a sensitive and generous heart, and his great love for people. He attended the Newnan Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness.
Surviving are his wife of 20 years, Mrs. Letty M. Begley; daughter, Vanessa Begley of Newnan; mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Dan of Wesley Chapel, Fla.; brother, Wayne Begley and his wife Donna of San Jose, California; sister, Mary Annette Winkel and her husband Herb of Lake Wales, Fla.; several nieces and nephews.
