Christine Sullivan
Christine Sullivan, age 82, of Stockbridge, Georgia, died September 3, 2009. She was born
in Douglasville, Georgia, to the late Albert Ross and Ruby Dollie Cole. Mrs. Sullivan was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, making flower arrangements, and coupon clipping. But most important to her was her family.
Mrs. Sullivan is survived by her husband, Charles E. (Gene) Sullivan, Stockbridge; daughters, Judy Upchurch, Stockbridge, Patti (Dan) Joliet, Grape-vine, Texas , Gina (Mark) Kane, Marietta, Tina (Steve) Fleming, Newnan, GA; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; siblings, Walter "Big Boy" Cole, More-land, Joyce Sorrells, and Mary Thurman, both of Stockbridge.
Funeral services were held September 5 at Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Glenn Anderson and Rev. Roger Prillhart officiating. Interment at Sherwood Memorial Park. Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors.
Samuel Perry McCullough
Samuel Perry McCullough, age 87, of Hampton, Georgia, died September 1, 2009. He was a WWII Veteran in the U.S. Army Air Force in the Asian theater. He worked in Civil Service at Fort Gillem where he retired. He was a long time member of Jonesboro Methodist Church.
He was a loving husband to his wife, Doris, and a wonderful father to his two children, Samuel P. Jr. and Ann. He is also survived by his two grandchildren, Samuel McCullough the III and Kimberly Ruth Byron, who had gave him three great-grandchildren.
His memorial service was held September 4 at Jonesboro Methodist Church. Donations may be sent to Jonesboro United Methodist Church, 142 S. Main Street, Jonesboro, GA 30236. Cremation Society of the South at Eagle’s Landing in charge of arrangements.
Ramon Sulteen
Ramon Sulteen, 56, of Hampton, Georgia, formerly of East Point, died September 6, 2009. Mr. Sulteen was a long-time employee of Fairburn Post Office; he had served in the U.S. Army, and was an ordained deacon with Liberty Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Anita Nation Sulteen, sister Linda Sulteen Wanzer, a niece and nephew, one great-niece, and three great-nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 9, at Liberty Baptist Church in Fayetteville, with Dr. Randy Wood officiating. Interment at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Riverdale. Richard Harvey
Richard (Rick) Harvey, age 47, of Locust Grove, Georgia, died September 6, 2009. He was born
in Lewiston, Maine; he was employed by Delta Airlines for 17 years. His passions were his love for his family, The New England Patriots, and The Boston Red Sox.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa Harvey; daughters, Jessica and Danielle Harvey, all of Locust Grove; parents, Edward and Irene Harvey of Lewiston, Maine; brother and sister-in-law, Herb and Teresa Harvey of Wayne, Ohio; sister and brother-in-law, Hope and Mike Begin of Benton, Maine; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces.
A memorial service for Rick will be Thursday, September 10, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough, with Dr. Ed Hoard officiating. Ruby Lorine Harris
Ruby Lorine Harris, 68, of McDonough, Georgia, died August 25, 2009.
Ms. Harris is survived by her daughters, Amanda H. Bell of Monroe County and Teresa H. Carley and her husband Mike of Stockbridge; grandchildren, Abigayle Bell, Aaron Bell, Tony Carley, Manuel Carley, Jeremy Carley and Brittany Carley; great-grandchildren, McKayla Carley, Colton Carley and Hayden Carley; brother, Ray and Lillian Walker; sisters, Fay and Murphy McKinney and Annis Spence and nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on August 28 at the Fayetteville Chapel of Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, with Pastor Farron Roper officiating. Hugh Collins
Hugh Collins, age 60, of Livingston, Texas , died August 23, 2009. He was born
in Atlanta to the late Colon Fletcher and Ruby Lucille Mathews Collins.
Mr. Collins is survived by his wife, Dale Collins, Livingston, Texas ; daughter, Dayna (Ronnie) Yeatts, Livingston, Texas ; sons, Douglas (Sharae) Cherry, Arlington, Texas and Michael Collins, Ellenwood; grandchildren, Bryce Cherry, Taylor Cherry, Reese Cherry, Brett Yeatts, Kaylee Yeatts, and Katrina Yeatts; great-grandson, Cage Cherry, Arlington, Texas ; brother, Donald (Jenelle) Hendrix, Lakeland, Florida; sister, Judy (Tommy) Hill, Stockbridge; brother-in-law, Darrel Brinegar, Round Rock, Texas ; sister-in-law, Sheryl Stone, Houston, Texas ; and mother-in-law, Clydell Brinegar, Livingston, Texas .

Willie Mae Gilliam
Willie Mae Gilliam, age 94, of McDonough, Georgia died Au-gust 25, 2009. She was born
in Ethelsville, Alabama to the late George Stanley and Minnie Lee Harper Brown. Mrs. Gilliam loved to read and travel. One of her greatest accomplishments was that she visited all 50 states. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Patten and Josephine Harris.
Mrs. Gilliam is survived by daughter, Barbara Keith, McDonough; son, Richard Stuart and Ola Faye Gilliam, Clanton, Alabama; grandchildren, Selina and Scott Gardner, Stockbridge, Leisl and Kurt Lemire, Daphne, Alabama, John and Danielle Gilliam, Fairhope, Alabama; 8 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
