Lewis M. Causey, Sr.
Lewis M. Causey, Sr, age 81, of McDonough, Georgia died September 12, 2007. He was born
in Roberta, Georgia the son of the late Lewis Miller and Pauline Evelyn Wells Causey. Mr. Causey was employed for 42 years with Wright & Lopez, Inc. and retired as vice president and was a member of Masonic Lodge in Crawford County. He enjoyed go-kart racing in his younger years, NASCAR racing, camping, and relaxing at Jackson lake.
Mr. Causey is survived by his wife of 60 years, Rita Mae Causey of McDonough; children, Lewis (Jennifer) Causey, Jr, of Palmetto, Barbara Ann (Neil) Floyd of Hampton, David (Sharon) Causey of McDonough, Gary (Ashley) Causey of McDonough; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; sister, Josephine Causey of Benton, Pennsylvania ; and niece, Joyce Morrow, Savannah.

Dale Mullett
Dale Mullett, age 50, of Hampton, Georgia died September 12, 2007. He was born
in Sharon, Pennsylvania . Mr. Mullett graduated from Jonesboro High School in 1976 where he played football and ran track. He enjoyed sports, cars, and woodworking.
Mr. Mullett is survived by his wife, Judy Mullett, of Hampton; parents, Gerald E. and Nancy N. Mullett of McDonough; brothers, Mark (Patti) Mullett of Locust Grove, Dean (Juanita) Mullett of San Antonio, Texas ; step-children, Suzanne Logan of Boston, Maine, Matthew Logan of Tampa, Florida; nieces, Jennifer, Ashley, Amanda, Stacey; and great-aunt, Lucy Hamby.
Funeral services were held September 15 at the Chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors with Rev. Dana Everhart officiating. C. E. "Ed" Martin
C. E. "Ed" Martin, age 81, of Rex, Georgia died September 12, 2007. He was born
in Powelton, Georgia, a little town in Hancock County, son of the late Dora Martin and Clerk C. Martin. He graduated from Richmond Academy in Augusta and went on to serve in the U.S. Navy where he served on the USS Nelson during WWII. He also served on the Arcadia during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Martin was a member of Stockbridge Presbyterian Church where he served as deacon and elder. He was preceded in death by his son, Donald Edwin Martin and brother, Buddy Martin.
Mr. Martin is survived by his wife, Pat Martin, of Rex; daughter, Lisa (Milton) McGarity of Stockbridge; grandchildren, Eric Martin, Rebecca Rolland, Michael McGarity, Katie McGarity and Hannah McGarity; great-grandson, Elijah Martin; daughter-in-law, Julie B. Martin of Senoia; sister, Ellen (Dr. Al) Davis of Blackshear; and sister-in-law, Frances Gibson of Calera, Alabama.

Louise Jurldean Roberson Laird
Mrs. Louise Jurldean Roberson Laird, age 80, of McDonough, Georgia died September 13, 2007. Mrs. Laird was born
in Floyd County the daughter of the late Eula Lee Rogers and William Douglas Roberson. Mrs. Laird was a devoted loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed her family, cooking and canning, camping, and working crossword puzzles and word searches. She was a member of Word of Grace Tabernacle Church of McDonough. Her outgoing personality and love for her family and friends will always be remembered. A sister, Ernestine Badgett also preceded her in death.
Survivors are her husband, Leathel Laird; children, Douglas and Linda Laird, Sharon and Roger Powell and Michael and Vickie Laird all of McDonough; 13 grandchildren, and 20 greatgrandchildren; brother, Dale Roberson of Molena and nieces and nephews.
Services were held September 15 in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Powell officiating. Interment Sherwood Memorial Park. Haisten Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Robert Lee House
Mr. Robert Lee House, age 77, of McDonough, Georgia died September 14, 2007. Mr. House was born
in Hall County the son of the late Francine Mealor and Charlie Thomas House. Mr. House was retired from his own business in Railroad Construction. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Peachtree City. He served his country in the US Army. Mr. House enjoyed his family, friends and golf. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Edith Chumney House; brothers, Junior and Weyman House and a sister, Faye Simmons.
Survivors are his children, Harold and Dona Wright of Richmond, Virginia, Bobby and Nancy House Jr of Mt. Airy, Georgia, and Missy Hodges of Glendale, Arizona; grandchildren, Harold Wright Jr., Cassie Wright, Megan Anderson, Lee House, Charlie House and James Hodges; 9 great grandchildren; sisters, Charlesean Bennett and husband Tom of Rome, Mary Brown and husband Bruce of Cornelia and Margie Watts of Cornelia; loving friend and companion, Sadie Chumney and several nieces and nephews.

Mark Noblitt
Mark Noblitt, age 55, of McDonough, Georgia died September 15, 2007. He was born
in Lubbock, Texas son of the late James Ruben and Joanne Marie Lynch Noblitt.
Mr. Noblitt is survived by his wife, Linda (Watson) Noblitt of McDonough.

Yu Chu (Jane) Hwang
Yu Chu (Jane) Hwang, age 53, of Rex, Georgia died September 15, 2007. She was born
in Taipei, Taiwan to the late Suan Tan Hwang and Mei Mei Hu Huang.
Ms. Hwang is survived by her mother, Mei Mei Hu Huang; siblings, Ching Chi Tanaka of Taiwan, Lung Sheng Hwang of Taiwan, Mei Chih Hwang of Japan, Chun Chih Hwang of Taiwan; adopted family, Lily Chin Yuan Hu and Mike Thomason of Rex, Andy and Kim Hu, Tony Thomason, and Angel Terry; and granddaughters, Emma and Olivia Hu.

Louise White Varenkamp
Louise White Varenkamp, age 85, of Covington, Georgia died September 15, 2007. She was born
in Atlanta the daughter of the late Earnest and Nellie Grace (Rutledge) White. She retired from the Atlanta Postal Data Center in Atlanta in 1975. Mrs. Varenkamp was a long time resident of Jackson Lake in Newton County, GA as well as Atlanta, and Bradenton, Florida. Mrs. Varenkamp was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Varenkamp, her infant daughter, Barbara Varenkamp, sisters, Evelyn Mott and Dorris Martin and brother, Charles White.
Mrs. Varenkamp is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Delores and Jack Candy, of McDonough; grandsons, Joshua Sledge of Atlanta, Jeremy Sledge and his wife Natalie, of McDonough; great-grandsons, John Ethan Sledge, Hank Sledge, Neil Sledge, all of McDonough; brother-in-law, DA Martin; sisters-in-law, Ina Lou Varenkamp, Betty Lou Hale and Tommie White; cousins, Anne Ruffner, Frank White, Guy White, Watson White, and Ruth Williams, several nieces and nephews, and Michael Mott and his wife Barbara and family..

Steve “Pop” Clark
Steve “Pop” Clark, age 47, of McDonough, Georgia died September 17, 2007. He was born
in Atlanta, Georgia the son of the late Garvis Woodrow and Edna Macy Lawler Clark. He was employed by Emcompass in McDonough. He was a avid Nascar Fan and his favorite driver was Dale Earhardt, Jr. He enjoyed fishing, listening to country music, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and his dog Gator. Steve was a loving husband, father, grandfather, but most of all a friend.
Mr. Clark is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Jackie Darlene Clark of McDonough; sons, B.J Williams, Jr of Jackson, Joshua J. Williams, Steven B. Clark, both of McDonough; grandchildren Tyler, Abigail, Christian, Nicholas, Carlton, and Cameron; sister, Joyce Perry, of Dahlonega; brothers, Michael Clark of LaGrange, Phillip Clark, Cumming,Ga: and several nieces, and nephews.

Charles Richard “Rick” Wofford
Charles Richard “Rick” Wofford, age 60 of Stockbridge, Georgia died September 18, 2007. He retired from Atlanta Gas Light after 35 years of service and was a member of Park Avenue Baptist and the Cabin Creek Golf Club. Survivors include his wife Diane D. Wofford; stepson, Scott Barnett and wife Amy all of McDonough; 3 grandchildren; mother, Fannie Lou Swords of Stockbridge; sister, Barbara J. Stewart and husband Thomas, of Cleveland; extended family.

Bobby D. Brooks
Bobby D. Brooks, age 60, of Stockbridge, Georgia died August 18, 2007. He was born
in Jasper the son of the late Jay and Mae Cronan Brooks. Mr. Brooks was of the Baptist faith and a local businessman with K.C. Wholesale, but most importantly he was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather.
Mr. Brooks is survived by wife, Mary Jane Brooks; daughter, Kim Wofford of Stockbridge; son, Jeff Brooks of Stockbridge; grandchildren: Kayla, Cody, Breanna, Jason, Justin; brothers, Joe Brooks of Thomson, Harold Brooks of Monticello; sisters, Peggy Montgomery of Stockbridge, Carolyn Ratley of Hayesville, North Carolina; several nieces and nephews.
