Howell Burt Turner, Sr.
Howell Burt Turner, Sr., age 70, of Morrow, Georgia, died September 18, 2009. He was born
in Leesburg, Florida to the late Sam Woodrow Turner and Dorsey Louge Childers. Mr. Turner retired as an upholsterer from Banister's Upholstery, was a member at The Ole Country Church, and loved his family.
Mr. Turner is survived by his wife, Etha Mae Turner; children, Theresa Pike, (Daniel) Morrow, Jenny Driskell, (Bryan), McDonough, Penny Powell, (Johnnie) McDonough, Howell Burt Turner, Jr., (Cheryl) Tyrone, and Darron Turner, (Leah) Locust Grove; sisters, Phyllis Wilder, Warner Robbins, and Barbara Jester, Byron; brother, Ralph Leverette, Bay Town, Texas ; seventeen grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on September 22 at Sardis Southern Congregational Methodist, with Pastor Robert Vines and Darron and Howell Turner officiating. Interment at Gordon Cemetery. Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors.
John Frederick Freeman, Jr.
John Frederick Freeman, Jr., age 44, of McDonough, Georgia, died September 6, 2009. John was born
in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania and was employed with Ford Motor Company for 19 years. He was a member of The Church in The Now in Conyers, and a previous member of The Church in The Round in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania . He enjoyed motorcycles, cars, music, sports and was an avid Steelers fan.
Survivors are his wife, Stephanie Freeman of McDonough; daughters, Madison Freeman of McDonough and Rachel Free-man of Aliquippa, Pennsylvania ; mother, Carol Freeman of Atlanta; father and step-mother, John and Alice Freeman of Aliquippa, Pennsylvania ; sisters, Rebecca Freeman of Aliquippa, Pennsylvania and Rachel Freeman of Wilmington, North Carolina; brother, Daniel Freeman of Los Angeles, California; nephew, Chancelor Humphrey of Aliquippa, Pennsylvania ; aunts, Jewel Hall of Silver Springs, Maryland and Loretta Gaines of Greensboro, Pennsylvania .

Margaret Brown
Margaret “Peggy” Brown, age 82, of McDonough, Georgia, formerly of Newnan, died September 7, 2009. She was born
in Canton, Ohio to the late Guy Alonzo and Anna Marie Morton Hall. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell “Buck Brown; daughter, Zolia Brown; sisters, Ruth Fernandez and Betty Hall; daughter-in-law, Deline Brown.
Survivors include her children, Bonnie Hutchinson, Glenn Brown, Debbie (George) Couch, Jim (Deborah) Brown, Janis (Ralph) Smith. “Grandma” Brown was also survived by 12 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Guy (Mary) Hall, Glenn (Jeannie) Hall, Ed (Sandy) Hall all of Canton, Ohio.

Joe Blount
Joe Blount, age 81, of Stockbridge, Georgia, died September 8, 2009. He was born
in Thomaston to the late Robert Franklin and Mary Ida Griffin Blount. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Diane Blount. Mr. Blount was a member of Liberty Baptist Church where he was an usher and a greeter. He was a woodworker and enjoyed gardening, but most important to him was his faith and his family.
Mr. Blount is survived by his wife, Jean Parris Blount, Stockbridge; sons, William Larry Blount, Sacramento, California, Bobby Eugene Blount, Stockbridge, Randall Patterson, McDonough; daughters, Rose Marie Shelton, Barnesville, and Faye Grover, Stockbridge; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and sister, Flossie Mae Flournoy,

Anna Cabiroy
Anna Cabiroy, age 74 of Stock-bridge, died September 8, 2009. She retired from Delta Airlines as a ticket agent and was a member of the Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Stockbridge. Anna was preceded in death by her grandson, Daniel E. Cabiroy.
She is survived by 3 sons, Daniel Cabiroy and wife Nicole of New York, Stephen Cabiroy and wife Susan of Virginia, Michael Cabiroy and wife Veronica of Georgia; grandchildren, Elijah Cabiroy, Carly M. Cabiroy, Jaden R. Cabiroy, Diane Cabiroy, Tracy Cabiroy, Genevieve Cabiroy and her sister, Congetta Messina of New York.

Lelern Wayne Bailey
Lelern Wayne Bailey, age 56, of Whitwell, Tennessee, formerly of Rex, died September 9, 2009. He was born
in Atlanta to the late Lelern and Francis Nelda Sauls Bailey.
Mr. Bailey is survived by his daughter, Tatiana (Jason) Gibson; grandchildren, Taeghan and Rielyn Gibson, all of Locust Grove; two sisters and one brother.

Donald Edward Floyd
Donald Edward Floyd, age 55, of McDonough, Georgia, died September 9, 2009. He was born
in Brunswick, on February 3, 1954 to Virginia Powell Floyd and Harris Edward Floyd. His father and his aunt, Robbie Nell Powell, preceded him in death. He was a graduate of Glynn Academy and Valdosta State University, and a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. He was of the Methodist Faith. He was employed as an executive and salesman for several major trucking companies in the metro Atlanta area. Because of his hard work and professional attitude, he received numerous leadership and work ethic awards. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially jogging and golf. He was very much the sports enthusiast. He was a huge fan of the Atlanta Braves and the University of Georgia Bulldogs.
He is survived by his loving mother, Virginia Floyd, sister Ann Floyd Cason and husband, Tommy Cason, niece, Kelli Cason Freeman and husband, Eric Freeman, all of Brunswick; nephew, Thomas Cason of McDonough; uncle, William C. Powell of Andulusia, Alabama and several special cousins.
