Carolyn Zander Fitzgerald
Carolyn Zander Fitzgerald, age 68, of Zebulon, Georgia, formerly of Henry County, died August 30, 2009. Mrs. Fitzgerald was born
in Pennsylvania , the daughter of the late Helen Jeanette Foate and William Charles Zander. She worked in the medical field as a speech pathologist for 40 plus years. She was known for her dedication and sacrifices for her family and her work. Mrs. Fitzgerald enjoyed woodworking and painting and was an avid artist. She was also known for her sense of humor, kindness and caring. She attended the Cathedral of Hope Church in Stockbridge and was a member of the American Speech Hearing Association. She was preceded in death by brothers, Billy and Bud Zander.
Survivors are her husband, John Fitzgerald III of Zebulon; children, Holly and Frank Emory of Virginia, Kim and Arnie Cobb of Locust Grove, Lisa and Matt Amos of Florida, Roxy Bivona of Florida, Joni and Matt Bowen of Locust Grove, John and Krista Fitzgerald of North Carolina, and Dan Scott of Marietta; and 13 grandchildren.

Mary Lou Burdett Haun
Mary Lou Burdett Haun, age 90, of Locust Grove, Georgia, died August 30, 2009 at the West-bury Health & Rehab in McDonough. She was born
in Cobb County, the youngest of 11 children, to the late Joseph Humphrey and Allie Elizabeth Morris Burdett. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, James Edgar Haun, by her son-in-law, Bob Shetter and a grandson, Jim Shetter. She was a member of the Lester Road Christian Church and had been a foster parent for 40 children over a ten-year period. Over the years, she worked in the cafeteria of North Clayton High School and also worked for the College Park Christian Church Daycare. She enjoyed collecting dolls, reading, working puzzles, sewing and crocheting.
Survivors include her daughters, Lucie Shetter of Locust Grove and LeAnna Haun of Hampton; grandchildren, Robin Rochelle Shetter (Lane) Austin, Virginia Lynn Shetter (Joel) Cocoletzi, Hannah Marie Haun; great-grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn Austin (Casey) Benton, Kimberly Dawn Austin (Steven) Parrish, Amanda Leigh Austin (Max) Anderson, Crystal Maria Lee (Steve) Collifer, Sabrina Elizabeth Lee; great-great-grandchildren, Desirae Benton, Caleb Benton and Kayleigh Anderson; sister, Dorothy Maude Harpe of Ulee, Florida; many nieces, nephews and beloved friends.
Funeral services were conducted September 2, 2009 at the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Interment at Mount Harmony Memorial Gardens in Mableton. David Jackson
David Jackson, age 64, of McDonough, Georgia died September 1, 2009. He was born
in Atlanta to the late Gordon and Velma Suddeth Jackson. Mr. Jack-son was a Respiratory Therapist at Southern Regional Medical Center for 38 years. He was Treasurer of GSRC for several years and coordinated the golf tournaments for his beloved respiratory committee.
Mr. Jackson is survived by his wife, Joyce Jackson; children, Tracey (Michael) Messick and their children Kyle and Melissa, Michael (Kelly) Jackson and daughter Ella, David Jackson, Jr., Chip Bentfeld, Bobby (April) Capps and their children Zoe and Ranon, and Becca Capps; sister, Joyce (Wesley) Ballard and their children Johnny and Steve; and best buddies Roland Ivey and Al Hubbard.

Thomas Eckert Thornton, Jr.
Thomas Eckert Thornton, Jr., age 20, of Stockbridge, Georgia, died September 1, 2009. He was born
in Miami, Florida, on October 30, 1988. Thomas was a 2007 graduate of Faith Academy and his favorite pastime was listening to music that he loved.
Surviving are his parents, Thomas Eckert, Sr. and Joanne Deegan Thornton and brother, Sean Thornton, all of Stockbridge; maternal grandmother, Marion Newman, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; and paternal grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. Thomas E. Thornton, Miami, Florida

Christine Sullivan
Christine Sullivan, age 82, of Stockbridge, Georgia, died September 3, 2009. She was born
in Douglasville, Georgia, to the late Albert Ross and Ruby Dollie Cole. Mrs. Sullivan was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, making flower arrangements, and coupon clipping. But most important to her was her family.
Mrs. Sullivan is survived by her husband, Charles E. (Gene) Sullivan, Stockbridge; daughters, Judy Upchurch, Stockbridge, Patti (Dan) Joliet, Grape-vine, Texas , Gina (Mark) Kane, Marietta, Tina (Steve) Fleming, Newnan, GA; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; siblings, Walter "Big Boy" Cole, More-land, Joyce Sorrells, and Mary Thurman, both of Stockbridge.

Samuel Perry McCullough
Samuel Perry McCullough, age 87, of Hampton, Georgia, died September 1, 2009. He was a WWII Veteran in the U.S. Army Air Force in the Asian theater. He worked in Civil Service at Fort Gillem where he retired. He was a long time member of Jonesboro Methodist Church.
He was a loving husband to his wife, Doris, and a wonderful father to his two children, Samuel P. Jr. and Ann. He is also survived by his two grandchildren, Samuel McCullough the III and Kimberly Ruth Byron, who had gave him three great-grandchildren.

Ramon Sulteen
Ramon Sulteen, 56, of Hampton, Georgia, formerly of East Point, died September 6, 2009. Mr. Sulteen was a long-time employee of Fairburn Post Office; he had served in the U.S. Army, and was an ordained deacon with Liberty Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Anita Nation Sulteen, sister Linda Sulteen Wanzer, a niece and nephew, one great-niece, and three great-nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 9, at Liberty Baptist Church in Fayetteville, with Dr. Randy Wood officiating. Interment at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Riverdale.
