Cynthia Susan Nassar, age 54, of Atlanta, Georgia died December 1, 2005. Mrs. Nassar was a loving mother who enjoyed art and loved animals.
She is survived by her sons, Clint Roszelle of Tallahassee, Florida, Clay (Kayla) Roszelle of McDonough, Derreck Nassar of Athens; sisters, Julie (Mark) Grainger of Atlanta, Ellen Effinger of Canton; brothers, Randy Snyder and Cliff Snyder, both of Atlanta; Sam Snyder of Jacksonville, Florida; and grandson, Aiden Roszelle of McDonough.

Bethel McMillan, Jr.
Bethel McMillan, Jr., age 76, of McDonough, Georgia died December 2, 2005. Mr. McMillan was born
November 11, 1929 in Nashville, the son of the late Bethel McMillan, Sr. and Abbie Gale Alexander McMillan. He served his country in the U.S. Army, serving in the Korean War, was retired from the Federal National Civil Service Mortgage and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed fishing, and was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who was always active with his children in their activities at school and sporting events.
He is survived by his wife, Martha McMillan of McDonough; children, Lori and Ron Ridenour of Lawrenceville, Mike and Kelly McMillan of Bethlehem, and Keith and Charlotte McMillan of Coving-ton; grandchildren, Caryn, Jason, Michael, Stephen, Kylie, Courtney and Brooke; great-grandchild, Patrick; sisters, Ruby Rutherford of Douglas, and Emily Dawkins of Tallahassee, Florida; brother, Raymond McMillan of Atlanta; nieces and nephews.
Services were held December 4 at Westview Cemetery
in Nashville. Haisten Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Ralph R. Sims
Ralph R. Sims, age 92, of Stockbridge, Georgia died December 3, 2005. Mr. Sims was born
in Copperhill, Tennesee, the son of the late Alfred C. and Missouri Newman Sims. He was a member of The Rock Baptist Church, a retired Civil Service employee and an Army Veteran. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a jack-of-all-trades and enjoyed helping others. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Buford Sims and Taft Sims; sister, Johnny Sims; and son-in-law, Lyle Hanson.
He is survived by his wife, Annie Sarah Sims of Stock-bridge; son, Wally (Brenda) Sims of Norcross; daughters, Sarah (Bobby) Gann of Stockbridge, Sammie (Jerry) Anderson of Senoia, Sandra Hanson of Morganton; and sister, Pauline Smith of Chipley, Florida.
Services were held December 2 in the chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors, with Rev. Don Bazal officiating. Interment The Rock Baptist Church Cemetery. Gena G. Bailey
Gena G. Bailey, age 91, of Ellenwood, Georgia died December 3, 2005. Mrs. Bailey was born
in Cleburne County, Alabama, the daughter of the late Steve Alus and the late Nora Sue Rollins.
She is survived by her sons, James H. Bailey of Ellenwood, Herman C. Downey Jr. of McDonough; sisters, Annie Conner of Gadsden, Alabama, Agnes Hardy of Union Grove, Alabama, Dorothy Bailey, Gads-den, Alabama; grandson, Thomas H. Bailey of Ellenwood;
and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Wednesday, December 7 at Crestwood Cemetery

Opal Story Munn
Opal Story Munn, age 89, of McDonough, Georgia died December 4, 2005. Mrs. Munn was born
September 2, 1916, the daughter of the late Calvin and Stella Long Story. She loved working in the yard and enjoyed her flowers. She loved to work with her hands doing quilting, sewing, and ceramics. The most important thing to her was her family and being a mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her daughters, Joan (Eddie) Beck of McDonough, Sherry Kristina Munn of Jonesboro; sister, Clyde Cook of Moreland; granddaughters, Barbara Beadles of Greer, South Carolina, Lisa McKibbon of Newnan, Jodi Beck of Greenville, South Carolina; grandsons, Scott Beck of Athens, Nathan Beck of Easley, South Carolina, Bobo Beck of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania ; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Wednesday, December 7, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors, with Rev. Bill Griffin and Rev. Brad Blanton officiating. Joseph Pinkney Price
Joseph Pinkney (J.P.) Price, age 90, of McDonough, Georgia died December 5, 2005. Mr. Price was born
on August 24, 1915 in Locust Grove, the son of Otis Weyman and Bertha O’Lillian Rodgers Price. He and his wife, Eugenia (Jean) Turner Price have been married
sixty-four years. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the European Theatre of Operations. He was a member of the American Legion Post 55 and for forty-one years was employed by Continental Insurance Company in Atlanta. In 1962, Mr. Price was elected to the McDonough City Council and served as a member for 14 years. He was a founding director of the Founder’s Guaranty Bank (Now BB&T) in McDonough. He was a member of the McDonough First United Methodist Church, a member of the United Methodist Men and the Samaritan Sunday school Class. He was a Sunday school teacher for over sixty years. He served as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Shingleroof Methodist Campground from 1974 until 1992, having been a trustee since 1960. In 2000, he was the Griffin District’s lay recipient of the Harry Denman award for Evangelism. He was preceded in death by his brothers, W. Rodgers Price and Rabun A. Price.
He is survived by his wife, Eugenia Turner Price; daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Joe Claxton of Macon; son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Shirley Price of Jacksonville, Florida; daughter, Janis Eugenia Price of McDonough; grandchildren, Joseph Buford Claxton of Macon, Anne Claxton Krabacher and her husband Greg Krabacher of Columbus, Ohio; siblings and in-laws, Leola Price Durden of McDonough, Lula Mae Price Ward of Luella, Dannie Sue and Bud Junkins of Hueytown, Alabama; Merrill and Charlotte Price of Jackson; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Wednesday, December 7 at 3:00 p.m. at McDonough First United Methodist Church, with Rev-erend Mack W. Riley, Dr. C.R. Hill, and Rev. James Miller officiating. Andrew Charles Fossier
Andrew Charles “Andy” Fossier, Jr., age 62, of McDonough, Georgia died November 15, 2005. Mr. Fossier was born
December 14, 1942 in New Orleans, the son of the late Andrew and Ruth Fossier. He was preceded in death by his son, Andrew C. Fossier III.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Diana Fossier; four daughters; nine grandchildren; a brother; a sister; and a distant daughter, Bea Fiebig and son of France.

Lucile M. Martin
Lucile M. Martin, age 91, of Stuarts Draft, Virginia, formerly of Decatur and Stockbridge, Georgia died November 16, 2005.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Lee Middleton of Stuarts Draft, Virginia; granddaughter, Amber Wilson and husband Dave and their children, Daizjha, Calen and Savannah, all of Stuarts Draft, Virginia; grandson, Shane Middleton and his son, Tallin of Virginia; niece, Jean Parker and husband Dr. Dan Parker of Stone Mountain; niece, Carolyn Morris and husband Fred of Canton; nephew, Van Rainwater and wife Susan of Demorest; several great nieces and nephews.
Services were held November 19 at Ward’s Fairview Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Clairmont Hills Baptist Church. Horis A. Ward Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Eva Jewell Ray
Eva Jewell Ray, age 78, of Hampton, Georgia died November 16, 2005. Mrs. Ray was born
May 18, 1927 in Tate, the daughter of the late Hubert Hugh and Irene Johnson Ray. She was a member of Berea Christian Church, and enjoyed her church family and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Isaac Ray in 2003.
She is survived by her daughter, Patsy Piner of Barnesville; grandchildren, Gary Chitwood of Hampton, Greg Chitwood of
Yatesville, Tony Fountain of Longview, Texas , Eva Reynolds of Barnesville, Sheila Aycock of Acworth; 11 great-grandchildren, including Matthew, Anthony, Katlin, and Jesse Chitwood; siblings, Virginia Erickson of Tucker, Charles Ray of Stockbridge, Hubert Ray, and Glenn Loggins, both of Covington; special friend, Bill Wingard of Hampton.
Services were held November 19 at Berea Christian Church, with Pastor Michael Gunnin and Pastor David Watson officiating. Interment Berea Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Tracy Chitwood Benefit Fund, c/o Wendy Beddingfield, First National Bank of Hampton, 996 Bear Creek Blvd., Hampton, Georgia, 30228 in memory of Mrs. Ray. Haisten Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
