Guy Chapman Titshaw, age 78, of McDonough, Georgia, died December 26, 2005. Mr. Titshaw was born
in Loganville, the son of the late Roy and Leila Mobley Titshaw. He retired from General Motors after 37 years of service and was a member of the Salem Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Annelle Scott Titshaw; sons, Gary Titshaw, Guy (Frances) Titshaw; daughter, Carol (Frank) Epps; grandchildren, Deena (Bill) Templin, Michael, Brian, and Matthew Titshaw, Susan Wasinger, Shannon Epps; great-grandchildren, Lindsey Templin, Haley and Cameron Titshaw, Abigail and Marie Wasinger; brothers, Bob (Juandalee) Titshaw, Ben (Lassie) Titshaw; brothers-in-law, Bobby and Ed Scott; sisters-in-law, Minnie (Blackie) Ott, Lissie Partain, Elizabeth Ivey, Roxie Jo Brady; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held December 29 at Salem Baptist Church, with Rev. Dan McKay officiating. Interment Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations to the Salem Baptist Church Building Fund, 1725 Georgia Highway 1155 N, McDonough, Georgia, 30252. Charlotte Elaine Hunter Harper
Charlotte Elaine Hunter Harper, age 60, of Locust Grove, Georgia died December 27, 2005. Mrs. Harper was born
June 1, 1945 in Fitzgerald, the daughter of the late Ola Lucille Hobby and Mitchell William Hunter. She was a retired 911 Dispatcher with Henry County, was of the Baptist faith, loved spoiling her grandchildren, fishing, traveling, and partying with friends. She was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Hunter.
She is survived by her husband, Sidney Harper; children, Patty Huffman of Lynchburg, Tennessee, Rodney Holman of Atlanta, Stephanie Mann of Jackson, Melanie Holman of Satsuma, Florida; stepchildren, Gray Harper of Hull, Mauree Whitaker of Winterville; 12 grandchildren; brother, William Hunter of Homasassa Springs, Florida; sister, Carolyn Bryant of Panama City, Florida; nieces and nephews.
Services were held December 29 in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home, with Rev. Joey Seabolt officiating. Haisten Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Duryl Stephen Bloodworth
Duryl Stephen "Steve" Bloodworth, age 45, of Jonesboro, Georgia died December 27, 2005. Mr. Bloodworth was born
June 28, 1960 in Fulton County. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hampton, loved music, and fought the fight and won the battle.
He is survived by his parents, Thomas and Carol Bloodworth of McDonough; uncles and aunts, Danny and Jane Jenkins of Jefferson, Barbara and Bobby Lacey of Hampton, Jean Willis of Forest Park, Gail and Floyd Harrington of Barnesville; nieces, nephews, and his extended family.
Services were held December 29 in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home, with Rev. Buddy Perstrope officiating. Interment Haisten/Eastlawn Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to the Kitchen Fund, c/o First Baptist Church of Hampton, 85 McDonough Street, Hampton, Georgia, 30228 in memory of Steve. Haisten Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Ralph S. Swanson
Ralph S. Swanson, age 77, of Stockbridge, Georgia died December 29, 2005. Mr. Swanson was born
in Helen, the son of the late George Starlin and Hattie Mae Brooks Swanson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Myran Duncan Swanson.
He is survived by his daughters, Betsy (Dave) Stookey of Tyrone Becky Swanson of Shacklefords, Virginia; son, Bob (Donna) Swanson of Allen, Texas ; grandson, Shane (Emily) Stookey of Brandon, Mississippi; sisters, Hazel Carpenter of Valdosta, Mary Ruth Evans of Birmingham, Alabama; brothers, Mac Swanson of Clayton, and Don Swanson of Dayton, Ohio.
Services were held January 3 in the chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors, with Dr. Trenton Swanson officiating. Interment Fairview Memorial Gardens. Frank Clark
Frank Clark, age 87, of McDonough, Georgia died December 30, 2005. Mr. Clark was born
in Kokomo, Indiana, the son of Benjamin Franklin and Lela Candace Coppock Clark. He was retired from National Motor Carrier and was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was past President of the St.Andrews Society, Atlanta, past President of the Burns Club of Atlanta, a Deacon of Berachah Bible Church of Jonesboro and Regional Director of the American Trucking Association in Washington , DC. He enjoyed traveling and collecting model airplanes of WWI and WWII. He enjoyed studying the history of Great Britain, especially Scotland and England.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Marjorie Clark; and son, Rex A. (Kathy) Clark, both of McDonough; daughter, Pam (Howard) Eyrich of Biringham, Alabama; brother, William Eugene Clark; and sister, Laverne Gunnell, both of Kokomo, Indiana; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services were held January 3 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, with Dr. Howard E. Dial officiating. Mattie Ruth Mayo
Mattie Ruth Mayo, age 89, of McDonough, Georgia died January 1, 2006. Miss Mayo was born
in McDonough, the daughter of the late Dallas and Lolie Ellen Wilkerson Mayo. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
She is survived by her brothers, David and Betty Mayo of Jackson, J.D. Mayo of Newnan; and several nieces and nephews.

Dakota Ida Roach French
Dakota Ida Roach French, better known as MeMaw and Dee, age 82, of Atlanta, Georgia died December 17, 2005. Mrs. French was born
February 20, 1923 in Rockingham County, North Carolina, the daughter of the late Minnie Snurr and James Muscoe Roach. She was very patriotic and she enjoyed ceramics, old movies, and crocheting.
She is survived by her children, Reavell McDaniels, and Katherine Delap, both of Reidsville, North Carolina, Jesse French of Rex, Marie Kowalske of Springfield, Missouri, Malgia French of San Antonio, Texas , Yvette Swindell of Pensacola, Florida, and Michelle Stockard of Apopka, Florida; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services were held December 20 in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Haisten Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Lois Smith
Lois Smith, age 93, of Forest Park, Georgia died December 21, 2005. Mrs. Smith was born
in Sneads, Florida, the daughter of the late Leonard Jefferson and Elizabeth McKinnon Dennis. She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Smith, Sr.; and daughter, Jacqueline Smith Robinson.
She is survived by her son, John R. Smith, Jr. of McDonough; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.

Freta G. Donnelly
Freta G. Donnelly, age 62, of Stockbridge, Georgia died December 15, 2005. Mrs. Donnelly was born
in Spencer, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Elmer James and Pauline Geer Bell. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Thomas Bell, Eddie Bell, and James Olin Bell; sister-in-law, Hazel Bell; and brother-in-law, Homer Thomas.
She is survived by her husband, John C. Donnelly of Stockbridge; daughters, Tina L. Donnelly of Stockbridge, Tracy (John P.) Jackson of Griffin; grandchildren, Chase Jackson, Camden Jackson, Cacin Jackson, Chesni Jackson; sister, Louise Harper of Stockbridge; brothers, Freddie Bell of Comer, George (Letha) Bell of Locust Grove; sisters-in-law, Becky Bell, and Lucille Bell, both of Stockbridge; Sarah Tshudy; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Services were held December 18 in the chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors, with Rev. Dudley Rose officiating. Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
Grover A. McGarity
Grover A. McGarity, age 80, of Decatur, Georgia died December 16, 2005. Mr. McGarity was born
in McDonough, the son of the late Homer Seaborn and the late Nora Evelyn Sherwood McGarity. He retired from Thompson-Boland-Lee (Florsheim Shoes) after 41 years as General Manager. He was a member of the St. Timothy United Methodist Church of Stone Mountain, and formerly served on the Finance Committee. He formerly served as an officer with the Buckhead Business Association and was former president of the Lenox Mall Business Association. He was an Army Veteran of WWII. He enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, hunting, fishing, golfing and all sports. Most important to him was family. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Mariane McGarity; daughters, Faith (Tommy) McGarity Stanton of Flowery Branch, Fran (Ed) McGarity Urheim of Atlanta, and Freida McGarity of Snellville; sisters, Margie Hooper of Griffin, and Lucille Fischer of Colorado Springs, Colorado; grandchildren, Amy, Adam, Christin, Marcus, Katherine and Todd; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services were held December 19 at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery. Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
