Gary Wayne Payne
Gary Wayne Payne, age 50, of Hampton, Georgia, September 24, 2009. Gary was born
in Milton, Florida, the son of the late Marvie Mae Atkisson and Billy Edward Payne. Gary was a member of Hampton United Methodist Church, Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity, and Hampton Masonic Lodge No. 60. He was a loving husband, father and brother who enjoyed his church, Bible studies, coaching baseball, fishing, boating, camping, grilling out and college football.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Garrett Payne; sons, Jamie and Corey Payne of Hampton; sisters, Cindy Payne of Conover, North Carolina and Suzy Allen of Alabaster, Alabama; mother-in-law, Martha Garrett of Hampton and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 30 at 2 p.m., at Hampton United Methodist Church, with Rev. Mark Burgess and Dr. Charlie Green officiating. Interment at Berea Cemetery. Clarence Amerine
Clarence (Sonny) Amerine, age 56, of Stockbridge, Georgia, died September 5, 2009. He was born
in Waco, Texas , to the late Clarence and Doris George Amerine. Mr. Amerine enjoyed hunting and fishing, and he especially loved motorcycles.
Mr. Amerine is survived by his wife of 20 years, Sandy Hem-bree Amerine, Stockbridge; sons, Wendell (Angel) Fenner, Fort Mill, South Carolina, and Rich-ard (Jackie) Moss, Flovilla; daughters, Dawn (Donnie) Thompson-Sellers, Chesterfield, South Carolina, Marty (Steve) Amerine, McDonough, and Starlett (Tara) Moss, Flovilla; 12 grandchildren, Donnie, Steven, Shanna, Derrick, Vance, Christopher, Nathan, Nicole, James, Autumn, Cheyanne, and Braden; siblings, Phillip Amerine, Locust Grove, Steven Amerine, McDonough, Twila Wright, Jesup, Anita Day, Stockbridge, Kimberly Endresen, McDonough, and Pat Gunder, Denver, Colorado.

Stefanja Dolores Chmelewski Bobo
Stefanja (Stella) Dolores Chmelewski Bobo, age 89, of McDonough, Georgia, died September 10, 2009. Mrs. Bobo was born
to Polish immigrant parents, Alexander and Victoria Wasilewska Chmelewski, July 3, 1920, in Stamford, Connecticut. She was the supervisor of the art department of Magazine Photo Engraving in Stamford prior to her marriage and was an artist all her life. She was predeceased by her siblings Walter Chmelewski, Jane Hebert, Alexander P. Chmelewski and Irene Hagan.
Mrs. Bobo is survived by her husband, Gerald Bobo, of McDonough; daughter Debra L. Bobo of Winder; daughter Paula E. Wiggins and her husband, David E. Wiggins of Newnan; daughter Maria V. Bobo of Stockbridge; and son Stephen G. Bobo and his wife, Kay Pylant Bobo of Stockbridge. She leaves behind one granddaughter, Lauren A.Andrews of Asheville, North Carolina, and two great-grandchildren, Jade Alexandria Carpenter and Mason Rex Gray; sister-in-law Eleanor Pietruszka Chmelewski of Royersford, Pennsylvania ; and cousin Victoria Bienkowski Dombrowski of Stamford, Connecticut, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Elbert Frank Seabolt, Jr.
Elbert Frank Seabolt, Jr. age 76, of Locust Grove, Georgia, died September 14, 2009. He was born
in Atlanta to the late Elbert Frank and Edna Sylvester Burdette Seabolt. Mr. Seabolt was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Louise Seabolt, grandson, Timothy Grizzell, and sister, Martha McDonald. He was a member of Philippi Baptist Church and an Army veteran of the Korean conflict. Mr. Seabolt, a former employee of Central Truck Lines, and retired from Lithonia Lighting.
Mr. Seabolt is survived by his son, Rev. Joey (Nancy) Seabolt; daughters, Melinda (Frank) Stancil and Lisa (Gary) Grizzell, all of Locust Grove; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; siblings, Mary Lou Wilkerson, McDonough, and H.C. Seabolt, Locust Grove; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on September 16 at Philippi Baptist Church with Rev. Joey Seabolt, Rev. Dee Keith, Rev. Daniel Stancil, Rev. Cloyse Johnson, and Rev. Jason DeFoor officiating. Joanne McEachern
Joanne McEachern, age 63, of McDonough, Georgia, died September 14, 2009. She was born
in Atlanta to the late Joe and Mattie Bea Jordan.
Ms. McEachern is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Freddye Carrera, McDonough, son, Jeremy Carrera, Warner Robins; and grandchildren, Cole Carrera and Kyle Carrera.

Robert B. Scott, Sr.
Robert B. Scott, Sr., age 69, of Stockbridge, Georgia, formerly of Fayette, Mississippi, died on Sept 14, 2009. On January 23, 1940, Mr. Eddie Scott and Mrs. Sarah Scott became the proud parents of Robert Benard Scott. Robert met and married
Elouise Queen on September 25, 1965. To this union four girls and one boy was born. Mr. Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Sarah Scott, his in-laws, Willie and Gertrude Queen, two brothers, Eddie Scott Jr. and Phillip Scott, Sr., and his sisters, Madora Richmond and Winnie Pearl Scott. Mr. Scott was a wonderful father and always put his family first. He was an energetic man and loved to be of assistance to others. He loved to fish and in his retirement years spent many mornings out on a lake. He was a great storyteller and kept his family and friends entertained. He worked for Fayette Enterprises for over 30 years and retired as a Maintenance Supervisor.
He is survived by his loving, supportive wife, Elouise; daughters, Diana (Kim) Clark, Cassandra Faye (John) Thompson, Nekita M. Scott, and Ashley R. (Tristen) Alexander, all of Georgia; two sons, Eddie (Karen) Smith, Fayette, Mississippi, and Robert (Azelia) Scott, Jr., Jack-son, Mississippi; brothers, Richard Scott, Vicksburg, Mississippi, and Jessie Gray; brother-in-law, Brodie Richmond, Chicago, Illinois; grandchildren, Jaridd (Whitney) Scott, Raphael Scott, Nicholas Scott, Eddrionna Smith, and Ava Alexander; great-grandson, Collin Scott, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services were held September 17 at the Carl Rhodenizer Community Center in Rex. A graveside service will be held in Lorman, Mississippi on September 19, on the Scott Ponderosa. Cremation Society of the SOUTH at Eagles Landing.
Francis Simpson Ballingall
Francis Simpson “Frank” Ballingall, age 80, of McDonough, Georgia, died September 14, 2009. Frank was born
in West New York, New Jersey, to the late Francis and Annie Kenney Ballingall. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lynne F. Rybinski. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War and retired after 36 years with AT&T. He was a member of Union United Methodist Church in Stockbrdge, where he sang in the church choir. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and was a Mason. Frank enjoyed singing in a barbershop chorus and spending time on his computer. He was a great father and grandfather and was known for putting family first.
Survivors include his wife of nearly 53 years, Joan Ballingall; sons, Alan E. (Laura) Ballingall, Gary D. (Christina) Ballingall, Brian R. (Sandra) Ballingall; grandchildren, Kyle and Hannah Ballingall, Tanner, Joslyn and Jenae Ballingall, Irby, Dawn and Ryan Smith; great-grandchildren, Taylor M. Smith, Serenity N. Rainwater, Braxton C. Smith; brothers, Robert K. (Alice) Ballingall, David K. (Joan) Balingall; son-in-law, Tom Rybinksi.
Funeral services were held September 17 at Union United Methodist Church, Pastor Paul Gamber and Pastor James Hood officiating. Interment in the church cemetery.
