Billie S. Danielson
Billie S. Danielson, age 83, of McDonough, Georgia went to be with the Lord February 7, 2006. Mrs. Danielson was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy Danielson; son, Donald E. Baxter; daughter, Timmye Stone; and granddaughter, Angela Stone.
She is survived by her son, Sonny (Melissa) Danielson of McDonough; brother, Ralph Staffins of Loganville; grandchildren, Kerri and Donald Baxter, Aundrea and Chris Lea, Heather Danielson; and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held February 10 in the chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors, with Rev. Chuck Sheppard officiating. Interment Crest Lawn Memorial Park. Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.

Michael Harper
Michael Harper, age 46, of Stockbridge, Georgia died February 8, 2006. Mr. Harper was born in Nashville, Tennessee, the son of Roy Lee and Mai Rose Harper.
He is survived by his wife, Jackie Harper of Stockbridge; son, Daniel Michael Harper of Stockbridge; mother, Mai Rose Harper of Stockbridge, sister, Teresa Sorrells of Lawrenceville; In-laws; several nieces, nephews and other family members.
Services were held February 11 in the chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors, with Pastor Steve Duren officiating. Interment Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.

Addy Dean
Addy Dean, age 75, of Hampton, Georgia died February 8, 2006. Mrs. Dean was born in Montello, Wisconsin to the late Walter and Bertha Mateske Dahlke. She liked to work in the garden, and liked her animals. She was in the ministry since the early 50's and really enjoyed people. She was the owner of Dean’s Healthcare since 1995 and delivered the town and country shopper.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Clyde Dean of Hampton; sons, David Charles Huff of Atlanta, Donald Blackman of Tinley Park, Illinois; grandsons, Jared Alexander Huff of Villa Rica, Joshua Abram Huff of Lawrenceville, David Blackman; brother, Elton Dahlke of Nebraska; sisters, Eddie Rossman of California, Arlene Kroll, and Laverne Hahn, both of Wisconsin; great-granddaughters, Lyric and Monroe Huff; niece, Ruth, and other nieces and nephews.
Services were held February 10 at the Kingdom Hall on Highway 42. Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.

Louise Carter Oxendine
Louise Carter Oxendine, age 94, of Locust Grove, Georgia died February 8, 2006. Mrs. Oxendine was born May 6, 1911 in Opp, Alabama the daughter of the late Lula Lee Skipper and Vernie Augustus Carter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Beech Oxendine in 1961; and sons, Larry Oxendine in 1999, and Wesley Oxendine in 2002.
She is survived by her children, Marchita Karle and Lavonda Reid of Locust Grove, and Carol Jenkins of Steinhatchee, Florida; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services were held February 11 at Ten Mile Baptist Church Cemetery in Baxley, with Rev. Braswell Carter officiating. Haisten Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.02/15/06

Lorene Sconyers Canady
Lorene "Monk" Sconyers Canady, age 84, of Swainsboro, Georgia died January 28, 2006. Mrs. Canady was born September 14, 1921 in Swainsboro, the daughter of the late Mary Canady and Math C. Sconyers. Everyone that knew her loved her. She served as Emanuel County Tax Commissioner for 25 years. She enjoyed cooking for family and friends, gardening and sewing. She was a member of Swainsboro First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Widge Canady; sister, Lillian Sconyers Canady; and brother Buddy Sconyers.
Survivors are son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Carol Canady of Swainsboro; daughter, Loretta Canady Tucker of McDonough; daughter and son-in-law, Becky Canady and Ken Rickerman of Los Angeles, California; brother, Sam Sconyers of Swainsboro; grandchildren, Chad Canady, Meredith Canady, Jim Canady, Joey Tucker, Katie Tucker, Josh Tucker, Clay Rickerman, Zach Rickerman; great-grandchildren, Lauren Canady, Olivia Canady, Abby Tucker and Ava Tucker.
Services were held January 31 at Swainsboro First Baptist Church with, Rev. Robert Anderson officiating. Interment Old Canoochee Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Those who wish in lieu of flowers may make donations to National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Haisten Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Grady Edwin Mullinax, Sr.
Grady Edwin Mullinax, Sr., age 81, of McDonough, Georgia died January 28, 2006. Mr. Mullinax was born in Cumming, the son of the late Henry Grady and Mattie Azalee Tesseneer Mullinax. He retired from the Henry County Board of Education/Bus Trans-portation and was a member of Philippi Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon. Most important to him was family. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Coy Mullinax; and siblings, Ethridge Mullinax, Harold Mullinax, Paul Mullinax and Gene Mullinax.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lillian Mullinax; children, Linda (Jim) White, Dolores (Ben) Evans, Becki M. Maddox, Tammy (Rudy) Floyd, Gem (Susan) Mullinax; grandchildren, Sam (Lillie) White, Wendy (Danny) Davenport, Josh (Erin) White, Scott (Melissa) Evans, Shane (Sherri) Evans, Sarah, Nathaniel, Hannah, and Noah Maddox, Katie and Luke Floyd, Beau, Logan and Maddie Mullinax; 15 great-grandchildren; siblings, Montez Pruitt, Billy Mullinax, Kenneth Mullinax, Jimmy Lou Phillips, and Charles West.
Services were held January 31 at Philippi Baptist Church, with Rev. Joey Seabolt officiating. Interment Fairview Memorial Gardens. Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.

Worther A. Duffey
Worther A. Duffey, age 78, of Stockbridge, Georgia died January 30, 2006. Mr. Duffey was born in Flippen, the son of the late Worther Lee and Annie Mae Holloway Duffey. He was a very active member of the Jodeco Baptist Church where he was a charter member. He was a member for 50 years in the Masonic Lodge # 619 and was a Navy veteran of WWII.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Catherine; daughters, Alice Phillips of Wrens, Barbara Hatcher of Jonesboro, Donna Kraemer of Lexington, Texas ; brother, Robert Duffey of Winder; sisters, Ann Smith of Marietta, Flora Bundrick of Blakely; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren..
Services were held February 2 in the chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors, with Rev. Jerry Light officiating. Interment Sherwood Memorial Park. Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.

Homer C. Thompson, Sr.
Homer C. Thompson, Sr., age 81, of McDonough, Georgia died January 31, 2006. Mr. Thompson was born in Newberry, South Carolina, the son of the late John Porter and Ora Caldwell Thompson. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, hunting, working on lawn mowers, and cutting hair. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Wilma Annette Thompson.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby Thompson; son, Homer C. Thompson, Jr. of Griffin; daughter, Ruby J. Haney of McDonough; sister, Betty Mikell of Savannah; brothers, John Thompson, Jr. of Rossville, Everette Thompson of Statesboro; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held February 2 at Harvest Temple Church of God in Griffin, with Rev. Steve Newman, Rev. Tommy Powell, and Rev. Mark Davenport officiating. Interment Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.

Myrtle Ball Whitted
Myrtle Ball Whitted, age 84, of McDonough, Georgia died February 3, 2006. Mrs. Whitted was born in Durham, North Carolina, the daughter of the late George E. and Zola Ball. She was married to her soul mate, J.B. Whitted, for 62 years before his passing in 2001. Even during the last few days of her life, her sense of humor showed through. She loved life, God, her family and friends. She was a talented seamstress and very creative in arts and crafts. She will be missed by many friends and family.
She is survived by her children, Susie Whitted Irwin of McDonough, Debra Whitted Toney of Jackson, Nancy Whitted O'Neill of Juno Beach, Florida, Betty Ann Whitted of Charlotte, North Carolina, James M. Whitted of Los Angeles, California, William M. Whitted of Peachtree City; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 8 in the chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors, with Rev. Phil Shroeder officiating. Interment College Park Cemetery. Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
