Edna K. “Kristy” Allred, age 65 of Fayetteville died Saturday, May 31, 2008.

She was preceded in death by her parents Abner Basil and Gene Rose (Jones) Clark.

She is survived by her husband Ted H. Allred of Fayetteville; son Gregory (Tina) Allred of Cape Coral, FL; daughter Paige Allred of Fayetteville; grandchildren David Allred of Jacksonville, FL, Taylor and Alyssa Allred of Cape Coral, FL.

Mrs. Allred was cremated and a memorial service will be Friday, June 6, 2008, 7 PM at the First Fayetteville Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends at the church from 6-7 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that memorials can be made to Southwest Christian Hospice 7225 Lester Rd. Union City, GA 30291 or Fayetteville First Baptist Church Bus Fund 205 Stonewall Ave. E. Fayetteville, GA 30214.

Arrangements handled by the Carl J. Mowell and Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville.

Carolyn C. Willoughby

Carolyn C. Willoughby, age 65 of Fayetteville died Friday, May 30, 2008.

Mrs. Willoughby was preceded in death by her father Jerry A. Coston.

She is survived by her husband Keith D. Willoughby of Fayetteville; son’s Kirk Willoughby of Clarkston and Kyle (Wendy) Willoughby of Senoia; grandchildren Anna and Jake Willoughby of Senoia and Evan Blansett of Clarkston; mother Lottie Cotson of Lady Lake, FL; sister’s Geri (Harry) Bybee of Sandbridge, VA, Sandi Holda of Virginia Beach, VA and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Willoughby was cremated and a memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 3rd : PM at Grace Evangelical Church in Fayetteville, Georgia.

Memorial Arrangements handled by the Carl J. Mowell and Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville.

Mr. Mac T. Cunningham

Mac T. Cunningham, 46, of Brooks, GA died May 29, 2008.

Mr. Cunningham was preceded in death by his father Howard M. Cunningham.

He is survived by his mother Mary E. Cunningham of Brooks; brothers Ken & Paula Cunningham of Brooks and Greg & Pam Cunningham of Brooks; sister Connie Green of Molena; 12 nieces and nephews; and 20 great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 31, 2008 at 2:00 PM at C. J. Mowell & Son Chapel, Fayetteville with Rev. Charles Cunningham officiating.

Interment Brooks Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Mrs. Lillie Ann (Lil) Midgette Jones

Mrs. Lillie Ann (Lil) Midgette Jones, age 68, of Peachtree City, GA passed away May 26, 2008 at her home.

Mrs. Jones was born in Belhaven, NC the daughter of the late Charles Edward Midgette and Nancy Ruark Midgette of Burlington, NC.

She was the wife of Earl Jones. Mrs. Jones was a graduate of John A. Wilkinson High School and East Carolina University.

She was a member of the Peachtree City United Methodist Church.

Survivors other than her husband, Earl Jones and her mother, Nancy Midgette are a daughter, Lori and Mike Kozusnik of Newnan, GA; a son, Greg and Ann Jones of Lawrenceville, GA; three grandchildren, Chris, Nikki and Brandon Kozusnik; and a brother, Charles and Nancy Midgette of Burlington, NC.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday May 31 at 11 AM at the Peachtree City United Methodist Church with Rev. Chuck Hodges officiating.

Disposition of her cremains will be in Belhaven, NC at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 301 Kelly Drive, Suite 3, Peachtree City, GA 30269, or Hospice Advantage, 101 Yorktown Drive, Suite 223, Fayetteville, GA 30214.

Mrs. Martha S. Harbin

Mrs. Martha S. Harbin of Fayetteville passed away May 24, 2008.

She was a regular visitor to the Gathering Place in Peachtree City.

Mrs. Harbin was preceded in death by her husband, James B. Harbin; and her son, Jimmy Harbin.

She is survived by her daughters, Pamela and Tom Weeks of Fayetteville, Penny and Stanley Loggins of Dacula; grandchildren, Adam Weeks, Tim and Dawn Williams, Kim and Chey Kirkland, Christy and James Ward; great grandchildren, Jordan Williams, Makayla Williams, Lathan Weeks, Jalynn Ward; sisters, Barbara Farmer of Conyers, Dianne Wells of Conyers, Vickie Crowe of Conyers; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday May 27 at 2 PM in the chapel of Carl J. Mowell & Son with Rev. Max Andrews officiating.

Interment will follow in Westminster Memorial Gardens.

James E. “Boe” Lawhorne

James E. “Boe” Lawhorne, age 72 of Fayetteville died Monday, May 26, 2008.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Blanche Snodgrass.

He is survived by his wife Florence A. Lawhorne of Fayetteville; son Jay Lawhorne of Hoboken, Robert (Marie) Myles of Covington, Steven (Malika) Myles of Greenville, SC; daughters Kellie Landoll and Anna Mangum of Blackshear; 12 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 29, 2008, 11 AM at Harp’s Crossing Baptist Church in Fayetteville.

The body will lie in state from 10:30-11:00 AM at the church.

Rev. Dennis Watson will officiate.

Interment will follow at Camp Memorial Park in Fayetteville.

The family will receive friends at the Carl J. Mowell and Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville on Wednesday, May 28, 2008, 5-8 PM.

Eileen Jackson

Eileen Jackson, 87, of Fayetteville died May 26, 2008.

She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Murphy (Jack) Jackson.

She is survived by her sons Stephen and Patricia Jackson and Donald Jackson; grandchildren David and Kelly Jackson and Matthew and Amanda Jackson; and sister Rubye Mouchet.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 29, 2008 at 3:00PM at Azaela Estates in Fayetteville with Rev. Hank Rast officiating.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 to 2:30 at C.J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville.

A graveside service will then be held Friday at 1:30 PM at the Beaufort National Cemetery in Beaufort, South Carolina.
