Rob Williams

Mr. Rob Williams, age 38, of Peachtree City, GA passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2008.

Mr. Williams owned his own legal practice and was a member of Peachtree City United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Denise Linder.

Mr. Williams is survived by his wife Amy Williams, of Peachtree City, son, George Robert “Trey” Williams, III, daughter, Olivia Williams, brother, Andrew & Louise Williams of Atlanta, nephew, Hudson Williams and father, Richard Williams of Thomaston.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 3:00 PM at Peachtree City United Methodist Church.

The family will receive friends Friday, March 14 from 5:00 until 7:00 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to SunTrust Bank – William’s Children’s Fund.

Edward John Tarnowski

Mr. Edward John Tarnowski, age 83 of Sarasota, Florida died Sunday, March 9, 2008.

Mr. Tarnowski served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was a member of Teamsters #42.

He was preceded in death by his wife Alma C. (Jodoin) Tarnowski; grandchild Jay Tufts.

He is survived by his daughter Joan M. (Robert) Tufts of Osprey, Fl.; son Stanley R. (Lisa) Tarnowski of Fayetteville, GA.; grandchildren Tara Lynn (Jason) Robillard of Rowley, Mass., Scott R. Tufts of Acworth, GA, Matthew E. Tarnowski of Dover, DE, And Laura Marie Tarnowski of Fayetteville, GA.; great-grandchildren Avery Grace and Deacon Jay Robillard of Rowley, Mass, ; brother Robert (Eleanor) Tarnowski of Salem, Mass., and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial funeral mass will be Monday, March 17, 2008, 2 P.M. at The Catholic Church of Saint Gabriel 152 Antioch Road, Fayetteville, GA.

Mr. Tarnowski was cremated and burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association in memory of Mr. Tarnowski.

Audie "Buck" Collison, Sr.

Audie “Buck” Collison, Sr, 87, of Fayetteville died March 9, 2008.

He was preceded in death by wife Mary Collison and son Audie Collison, Jr.

He is survived by daughter Patricia C. and Patrick Palmer of Fayetteville; grandchildren Julie, Michelle, and DeAnn of Georgia and SaraBeth and Miriam of Texas; grandchildren Lauren, Brandon, Tyler, and Dylan; brother Jimmy Collison of Virginia; sisters Irene Schull of Maryland and Ida Bentley of Ohio; sister-in-law Janet Middlebrooks; niece Jane and Jimmy Falkler of Maryland; and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at 11:00AM at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00PM at C.J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville.

Jane V. Chapman

Mr. Jane Vick Chapman of Peachtree City passed away December 18, 2007.

Mrs. Chapman attended Vanderbilt University where she met her husband, Bill Chapman.

She was preceded in death by her husband William W. (Bill) Chapman and a son, Richard W. Chapman.

She is survived by her sons, John T. Chapman of Byron, NY, Jerry W. Chapman of Loganville, GA, Chris Chapman of Senoia, GA; six grandchildren, four great grandchildren; nephew, Matthew V. Ingram of Lilburn, GA.

Memorial services will be held Thursday December 20, which is Mr. and Mrs. Chapman’s 66th wedding anniversary, at 6 PM in the chapel of Carl J. Mowell & Son with Dr. David Miller officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.

James D. (Jim) Care

Mr. James D. (Jim) Care of Peachtree City passed away December 17, 2007.

He was a veteran of Viet Nam having served in the United States Marines and was a member of the Southern Nights Chorale Group.

Mr. Care was a pilot for Eastern Airlines for 26 years and he retired from Delta Airlines as a Flight Dispatcher with 14 years of service.

Most recently Mr. Care had worked with Talbot State Bank in Peachtree City.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years Denise M. (Denny) Care of Peachtree City; children, Cathy Vivanco of Cumming, GA, Maggie Bennett of Gainesville, GA, Carolyn Taraboletti of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, Danny Care of Smyrna, GA; grandchildren, Alex, Abbey, Mac, Harper, Adrian, James, Joe, Anna, Oliver; sister, Susan Hollis of Cherokee Village, AR; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday December 21 at 2 PM in the chapel of Carl J. Mowell & Son with Rev. Bob Tyler officiating.

Interment will follow at Westminster Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends between the hours of 6 and 8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.

Those who desire may make contributions to a Memorial Fund that has been established at Talbot State Bank, 313 Dividend Drive, Peachtree City, GA 30269.

Mr. Wallace Wilkins

Mr. Wallace A. Wilkins of Senoia died December 15, 2007.

Mr. Wilkins was preceded in death by his wife, Eunice.

He is survived by his sons, Scott Wilkins and his wife Janet of Athens; Wayne Wilkins of Senoia; Grandchildren, Rachel Claire Wilkins and Taylor Scott Wilkins, both of Houston Texas; Sister Roselind Drage and her husband Donald of Salt Lake City, Utah; nieces and nephews.

Mr. Wilkins was cremated and a memorial service will be held at later date.

James "Jim" Stanley Hambrick

Mr. James Stanley “Jim” Hambrick of Fayetteville died December 13, 2007.

Jim was a member of Harvest Baptist Tabernacle and was a Fireman with the City of Forest Park.

He is survived by his wife, Mandy of Fayetteville, Daughters, Abby Hambrick and Chloe Hambrick, both of Fayetteville; Parents, Jimmy and Cindy Hambrick of Fayetteville; Sister Jennifer Summers and her husband Donald of Peachtree City; Grandparents Ann and James Hambrick, Sr. of Sharpsburg; Joe and Shirley Bloodworth of Winter Springs, Fla.; Mother and father in Law, Don and Janice Roye of Fayetteville; Brothers and sisters-in-law; Michelle and Earl Cannon of Senoia; Shane and Heather Roye of Fayetteville; Nieces Nephews, Aunts Uncles and Cousins.

Funeral services will be held Sunday December 16, 2007 at 2:00PM at Harvest Baptist Tabernacle with remains placed in state at 1:00PM.

Dr. Joe Arthur, Rev Earl Partain and Rev Shane Roye will officiate.

Interment Westminster Memorial Gardens with The Forest Park Fire Department in Charge of Graveside services.

In lieu of flowers please make contributions to “Jim’s Girls” c/o Heritage Bank, 440 N. Jeff Davis Dr., Fayetteville 30214 or Jim Hambrick Care Fund, c/o Southern Federal Credit Union, 430 East Lanier Ave., Fayetteville 30214.
