Linda Taylor
Mrs. Linda Taylor, of Fayetteville, died December 4, 2006.
She was preceded in death by her son Douglas Taylor.
She is survived by her husband Howard Dana Taylor of Fayetteville, sons Howard I. and Rebecca Taylor of Gastonia, NC and Kenneth and Robin Taylor of Riverview, FL; and also by grandchildren Jeffrey, Wesley, William and Joseph Taylor.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 7, 2006 at 11:00 AM at the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church.
Rev. Mark Westmoreland and Rev. Bob Partridge will officiate.
Burial will follow at Camp Memorial Park in Fayetteville.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
Robert T. Taylor
Mr. Robert Trexler Taylor of Peachtree City, Georgia, died December 2, 2006 at age 57.
He was a native of Salisbury, NC where he attended Salisbury High School.
He graduated from Duke University in 1972 with a degree in Accounting.
At Duke, he was a member of the AFROTC.
Following graduation, he served as a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force.
He was employed as Controller of Fox Appliance Parts.
He was also an enthusiastic member of the Peach State Corvette Club and an avid golfer.
He is survived by Bonnie Herald Taylor, his wife of 31 years; his son, Chad Robert Taylor of Peachtree City; his parents, Joe and Wilburn Taylor of Salisbury, NC; his brother and his wife, Joe and Susan Taylor of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL; his niece, Jennifer Taylor Kennedy of Melbourne, FL; and his nephew, Steven P. Taylor of Atlanta.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday Dec. 6 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 206 Willowbend Rd., Peachtree City.
Interment will be at Westminster Memorial Gardens immediately following the service.
After the service and interment, the family will receive friends at his residence at 635 Grecken Green, Peachtree City.

Lizzie Jeanette Partain
Lizzie Jeanette Partain, of Sharpsburg, died December 3, 2006.
She was preceded in death by her brothers R.V. Parker and J.D. Parker.
She is survived by her husband of over 48 years, James Billy Partain; daughter Debbie & Capt. Patrick Bailey of Alaska; son James & Tammy Partain, Jr. of Sharpsburg; grandchildren Brian Bailey, Loren Bailey, and Eric Partain; brother R.L. Parker, sisters Syble Ford and Pam Garrett.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 7, 2006 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville.
Rev. Steve Carroll and Rev. Edgar Waters will officiate.
Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.

Harold Markley
Harold “Buddy” Henry Markley, 78, of Fayetteville died May 15, 2008.
He retired after 32 years of service as a lead mechanic with Eastern Airlines.
He is survived by his wife Lisa Markley of Fayetteville; daughter Tiffany Stephens of Fayetteville; son Trent and Guoda Scott of Lithuania; grandson Roanin Ruhn; granddaughter Urte Scott; brothers Willard “Bill” Markley of Johnstown, PA, Donald and Nancy Markley of Boswell, PA, and Barry Markley of Elizabethtown, PA; sisters Katherine and David Thomas of Fayette, PA and Donna Marie Markley of Johnstown, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2008 at 2:00PM at Liberty Baptist Church, Fayetteville with Dr. Randy Wood officiating.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Curtis Johnson
Curtis Brewster Johnson, 72, of Fairburn died May 14, 2008.
He is survived by two sisters Lois Leggett of Fairburn and Bobbie Dykes of Hazelhurst; and one brother Carlton Johnson of Dallas.
There are no services planned at this time.
Mary Ann McIntrye Milligan
Mary Ann McIntrye Milligan, 61, of Newnan, Georgia, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2008.
She was born July 11, 1946.
She was the daughter of the late Ollie and Herbert McIntyre.
Surviving are her loving son Shaun Milligan of the home and one grandson Jackson Milligan and brother Bill McIntrye.
She was a graduate of Georgia State University.
After retiring from International Paper and Georgia Pacific of Atlanta, Mary Ann was a volunteer at the Fox Theater and taught ESL at Clayton State.
She was Owner and President of “if its Printed!”.
A celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at 7:00 PM at McDonough Road Baptist Church, 352 McDonough Road, Fayetteville, Georgia.
Following the service there will be a time of gathering in the Fellowship Hall.
Leon Korb
Leon “Lon” Korb, Jr., 84, of Fayetteville died May 12, 2008.
He was retired in 1986 as Assistant Treasurer with Life of Georgia Insurance Company.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Judith Phipps.
Mr. Korb is survived by wife Mary McCafferty Korb of Fayetteville; children Jennifer Sarles of Winchester, VA, John Randolph of Honey Creek, IA, Maura Perine of Franklin, IN, Tara Gorsky of Chicago, IL, and Shannon Nerey of Peachtree City; and 14 grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, May 15, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Christ the King Charismatic Episcopal Church (4881 Highway 34 East, Sharpsburg) with Father David Epps and Rev. Tony McGee officiating.
Interment will follow at Westminster Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
