Mathew Elakatt, 82, of Lilburn, GA, formerly of Fayetteville, died October 28, 2006.
He was preceded in death by his wife Achukutty Elakatt.
He is survived by his sons Thomas Elakatt of Lilburn, Joseph Elakatt of Lilburn, and Simon Elakatt of Chicago; daughters Mary Kutty Puthenmadthil of White Plains, NJ and Sheeba Cheruseril of Savage, MN; 14 grandchildren and brothers John Elakatt and Joseph Elakatt both of Chicago.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Carl J. Mowell & Son, Peachtree City with Father Joseph Mullackara officiating.
The interment will follow at Westminster Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 9:00 PM with the Prayer Service at 8:30 PM.

Deborah Alexander
Mrs. Deborah Alexander, 51, of Fayetteville, died October 30, 2006.
She was the founding owner of Key West Tan in Fayetteville.
She also specialized in the medical records and office management fields.
She was an avid lover of horses as a child.
Her true joy and pleasure were her grandchildren.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend who will be deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by her brother Ronald Taylor.
She is survived by her husband Mike Alexander of Fayetteville, daughter Dawn Gibson of Fayetteville, grandchildren Kayla Slinkard, Bailey Slinkard, and Reed Gibson, mother Pat Taylor of Fayetteville, grandfather Lt. Col. (Ret) Clifford Radcliffe of Fayetteville, and stepson Jason Alexander of New Jersey.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.

Ruth E. Tallon
Mrs. Ruth E Tallon of Peachtree City died December 1, 2006.
She was a member of the V.F.W., Elks Club, Moose Club, American Legion, Art League of Bonita Springs, and Past Worthy President of the Eagles.
Mrs. Tallon was preceded in death by husbands William J. Morrison and Daniel B. Tallon.
She is survived by her children, Deborah Morrison, Saratoga, New York, William P. and Deborah Morrison, Bonita Springs, Florida, Ronald W. and Patricia Morrison, Albany, New York, Judy and Mark Fruscione, Peachtree City, Georgia, five grandchildren, brother, James O’Donnell, East Hartford, Connecticut, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday December 4, 2006 at the Faith Bible Church (Sharpsburg) at 11:00AM.
Entombment Camp Memorial Park in Fayetteville.
Family will receive friends from 4:00 – 6:00 PM Sunday December 3 at Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home Peachtree City.

Janet Holcomb
Janet Irene Holcomb, age 69, lost her battle with cancer November 30, 2006.
She was married to Richard Holcomb until his passing in 1991.
Janet retired with forty plus years of service to Alterman Foods/SuperValu in Atlanta.
She was an active tennis player and member of ALTA and USTA.
She is survived by her daughter Connie, two sons Greg and Chris, grandchildren Katie, Kristin, Rick and Michael, great granddaughter Ansley, and five step children Ricky, Randy, Rusty, Roger and Robin Holcomb, her mother, Irene Merck, two sisters Brenda and Jackie, and her brother Carlton.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 2, 2006 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville.
Rev. Wally Woodcock will officiate.
Burial will follow at Melwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Harold Thomas
Harold Roy Thomas, 78 yrs, of Jonesboro, GA died November 27, 2006.
He is survived by his son John Thomas of Mt. Vernon, NY; daughters Sonia Thomas of Hampton, Jennifer Thomas of Hampton, Joan & Gabriel Davis of Mt. Vernon, NY, Beverley Thomas of Fayetteville, and Avis & Kenneth Woo of Fayetteville; grandchildren Christopher Thomas, Antonio Thomas, Phillip Woo, Michelle Davis, and Lian Woo; great-grandchildren Xavier Thomas and Sidnie Thomas; step-granddaughter Kathryn Woo; brothers Norman Thomas and Horace Thomas; sister Lorna Kinlock; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday December 1, 2006 at the Episcopal Church of the Nativity from 2-4 PM.
Interment will follow afterward at Westminster Memorial Gardens.
Helen Hays
Helen Marie Treas Hays, 86, of Fayetteville, died November 26, 2006 of complications from Alzheimer’s disease.
She was born in Brewers, Kentucky, on August 4, 1920.
She was preceded in death by her eight siblings and her parents, Joseph and Roberta Treas.
Helen is survived by Frank Hays, retired Delta Airlines, her loving husband of 66 years.
Also surviving are two sons, Gary and Lewis, and five grandchildren, Eric, Alan, Stefanie, Brian, and Mark.
Before moving to the Fayetteville area in 1984, she lived in College Park for 30 years.
She was a loving and supportive wife and mother.
She and Frank enjoyed their many travels together.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville.
Interment will be at Forest Lawn in College Park.
The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
The family thanks the many friends who have supported Helen in so many ways as she battled her disease.
This includes neighbors, members of Fayetteville First United Methodist Church, Delta Airlines friends, members of the Crossroads Garden Club, and her bridge club.
Most especially, the family thanks her newly adopted family, the staff of the Alzheimer’s unit at Christian City, for the loving care they provided to her.
