TRENTON, Ga. - Wilma Shelton Holdaway died Thursday, Feb. 11, 1999, in Huntsville, Ala. She was 91.
She was retired from the Alabama Department of Health, was a member of the ARSEA, the RSVP, the BPWA, and Trenton First Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Joy Hardy, Huntsville; one sister, Bethel Tullis, Chattanooga; five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with the Rev. Eddie Cantrell officiating.
Burial will be in Trenton Baptist Cemetery.
The family will receive friends today from 3 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Willie Jett
DALTON, Ga. - Willie Irene Mathis Jett died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 1999, in an area nursing home. She was 94.
Services will be today at 3:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Dalton, with Dr. Billy T. Nimmons officiating.
Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.

DALTON, Ga. - Kathryn Headrick "Kate' Love of Rocky Mount, N.C., formerly of Dalton, died Sunday, Jan. 31, 1999. She was 77.
A memorial service will be today at Love Funeral Home.
Joan Webb
LaFAYETTE, Ga. - Joan J. Webb died Friday, Feb. 12, 1999, in an area hospital. She was 39. She was born in Savannah, Ga.
Survivors include her husband, Darryl Webb; two daughters, April Grogan, Allenhurst, Ga., and Joann Wingate, Guyton, Ga.; her parents, Bennie and Maudine Jeffers, Rincon, Ga.; three sisters, Teresa Bridges, Eden, Ga., Krystal Neesmith, Rincon, and Kim Hennessey, Jacksonville, Fla.; one brother, Raiford Brandon, Savannah, Ga.
Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at LaFayette Funeral Home, with the Rev. Henry Hampton and the Rev. Marvin Morrison officiating.
Visitation will be today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
James Henson
James Max Henson Sr. of Mableton, Ga., died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 1999, in a Kennestone, Ga., hospital. He was 69.
Mr. Henson was a minister at the Welcome All Baptist Church in Woodstock, Ga.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Johnson Henson; one daughter, Linda Baggett, Mableton; one son, James Max Henson Jr., Chattanooga; two brothers, Henry C. Henson, Adairsville, Ga., and Jack C. Henson, Smyrna, Ga.; two sisters, Elese Reece and Elaine Darby, both of Acworth, Ga.; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home in Austell, Ga., with the Rev. Carrol Rhodes and other officiating.
Burial will be in Union Baptist Church cemetery in Adairsville.
Visitation will be today after 4 p.m. at the funeral home.

William Gill
William Gill Sr. of Chickamauga, Ga., died Wednesday, Jan. 10, 1999, at a local hospital. He was 78.
Formerly of Rhode Island, he was an employee of Wilson Citco service station, a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Rhode Island, and a U.S. Army Air Corp veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Grace Minetta Nightingale Gill; one son, William D. "Bill' Gill Jr., Chickamauga; and two grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Chattanooga National cemetery with the Rev. Ed Johnson officiating.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe, Ga.
Dessie Walls
CHATSWORTH, Ga. - Dessie Walls of Spring Place died Sunday, Jan. 31, 1999, in an area hospital. She was 86.
She was the widow of Walter M. Walls, and the mother of the late Marvin Walls.
Survivors include three sons, Emmitt Walls, Cartersville, Ga., Raymond Walls, Bremen, Ga., and Bill Walls, Dalton, Ga.; four daughters, Trilba Beavers and Dorothy Worley, Spring Place, Marie Worley, Calhoun, Ga., and Linda Reed, Chatsworth; two brothers, Barnett Roberts, Spring Place and Horace Roberts, Chatsworth; five sisters, her twin, Essie Walls, and Helen Underwood, both of Chatsworth, Pearl Mathis, Dayton, Ohio, Katherine Tanner, Milledgeville, Ga., and Geneva Frey, Dacula, Ga.; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be today at 3 p.m. at Spring Place Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny Watters and the Rev. Tim Batchelor officiating.
Burial will be in Spring Place Cemetery.

CALHOUN, Ga. - Ted Whitfield died Sunday, Jan. 31, 1999, in a hospital there. He was 62.
Services will be held today at 2 p.m. at House of Prayer Baptist Church with the Rev. A.J. Waters, the Rev. Roy Smith and the Rev. Ralph Parker Jr. officiating.
Burial will be in Gaines Cemetery

CALHOUN, Ga. - Willie Woodward died Wednesday, Jan. 27, 1999, in a Rome, Ga., hospital.

Glaspie Longwith
RINGGOLD, Ga. - James Glaspie Longwith died Monday, Feb. 1, 1999, in an area health care facility. He was 89.
He was a longtime resident of Catoosa County and a member of New Bethel Baptist Church in Ringgold.
Mr. Longwith retired from 3M Company after 24 years as a mechanic. He also served as a bus driver for the Catoosa County School System for 17 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude Longwith.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita Hullender Longwith; one son, Wendell Longwith; three stepsons, the Rev. Leon Hullender, Morris Hullender, and Wayne Hullender; and two granddaughters.
Services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 3, 1999, at 2 p.m. at Wallis-Stewart Funeral Home with the Rev. Leon Hullender and Dr. Bruce Sloan officiating.
Burial will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
