Eria Louise Hobby Hart
Eria Louise Hart, age 92, of McDonough, Georgia died May 16, 2006. Mrs. Hart was born
June 26, 1913 in Sylvester, the daughter of the late Rena Eugenia Hall and Jessie Clarence Hobby. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Dennis Hart in 1991.
She is survived by her children, Charles and Eudora Hart of Jenkinsburg, Doug Hart and Wayne and Susan Hart, all of Locust Grove; sister, Betty Hall of Newnan; brothers, Oris Hobby of Tifton and Alvin Hobby of Stockbridge; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Services were held May 18 in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Interment Haisten/East-lawn Memorial Park. Haisten Funeral Home of McDonough in charge of arrangements.
Douglas Frank Allen
Douglas "Doug" Frank Allen, age 53, of Hampton, Georgia died May 16, 2006. Mr. Allen was born
November 19, 1952 in Adel, the son of the late Gloria Reiff and Bobby Joe Allen. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and motorcycles. He was employed with H&M Mechanical, Inc. for 12 years and he last worked in Orlando, Florida.
He is survived by his wife, Shannon Allen of Hampton; children, Erica and husband Gary Davis of Covington, Ren Allen of Hampton; stepmother, Martha Allen of McDonough; four sisters; one brother; two grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services were held May 18 in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home, with Rev. Wayne Mitchell officiating. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations to the American Cancer Society. Haisten Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mancell David Burnett
Mancell "Bill" David Burnett, age 81, of McDonough, Georgia died May 16, 2006. Mr. Burnett was born
October 13, 1924 in Alpharetta, the son of the late Ollie Edith Castleberry and Wade Hampton Burnett. He worked as a painter for DeKalb White Printing before retiring. He enjoyed fishing and gardening. He served his country in the Air Force from 1943 to 1946.
He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Dorcas Burnett of McDonough; daughter, Shelia Jones of Locust Grove; brother, Clark H. Burnett of Gainesville; sister, Mildred Moncrief of Social Circle; sisters-in-law, Joyleen Pealock of Doraville, Faith Phillips of McDonough; brothers-in-law; Jerry Rogers, Sr. of Gainesville and Stephen Rogers of Apopka, Florida.

Michael Keith Banister
Michael Keith Banister, age 44, of McDonough, Georgia died May 17, 2006. Mr. Banister was born
October 3, 1961 in Fulton County. He was a member of Heritage Baptist Church. He graduated from Russell High School in East Point Class of ‘79’ and enjoyed the Atlanta Braves.
He is survived by his parents, Jill and Jerry Banister of McDonough; sister, Elizabeth McConville of Stockbridge; grandmother, Shirley Banister of Lithia Springs; niece, Tonya McConville; aunts, uncles and cousins.

Fred C. Glover
Fred C. Glover, age 81, of McDonough, Georgia died May 17, 2006. Mr. Glover was born
July 13, 1924 in Stillmore, the son of Nancy Ruth Kennedy and Frederick Chris Glover. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was retired from Seaboard Rail-road (now CSX Transportation) after 36 years of service. He was a Navy veteran of WWII, serving with the 6th Beach Battalion and a D-Day Survivor of Omaha Beach. He was a member of Timberridge Pres-byterian Church. He loved to travel and was an avid woodcarver.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Jeanne Holcombe Glover of McDon-ough; children, Mike Glover (Carol) of Atlanta, Toni Glover of Denver, Colorado, Scott Glover (Annette) of Conyers; sisters, Catherine Cox (Jim) of Roswell, Mary Stephens (Clyde) of Tampa, Florida; brothers, Harold Glover (Betty) of Sparta, Harry Glover (Barbara) of Tennille; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

Demarious Wilson Byrd
Demarious Wilson Byrd, age 86, of McDonough, Georgia died May 17, 2006. Mr. Byrd was born
December 30, 1919 in Manchester, the son of the late Jimmie Jerisha Brand and Columbus Alden Bird. He served his country in the US Army from 1942 until 1951 as a medical technician. He was employed with Ford Motor Company for 47 years and had still been actively employed. He was a member of the local UAW 882. He also enjoyed his vegetable garden.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Agnes Estes Byrd of McDonough; daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and Bob Byers of Atlanta; stepgrandchildren, Stacy and Rob Zhender of Duluth, Beth Byers of Atlanta, Joe and Tish Boring of Conyers; three step great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Charlie Glisson of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held May 20 in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home, with Rev. Joe Tish officiating. Interment Alvaton Baptist Church Cemetery. Haisten Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Cynthia Presson Foster
Cynthia "Cindy" Presson Foster, age 51, died Saturday, May 20, 2006. Cindy was born
November 21, 1954 in Charlotte, North Carolina, the daughter of the late Amaryllis Bomar Killian and Banks Reid Presson. She was a member of McDonough Presbyterian Church and employed with Henry County Board of Education in marketing. She was very active in the community, serving as President of the Henry County Rotary Club, active with the Henry County Chamber of Commerce Leadership program, worked previously as Public Relations Director for Henry Medical Center and Public Relations Director for Central Georgia EMC. Cindy enjoyed her family, animals, riding horses, reading, flowers and shopping.
She is survived by her husband, Bailey Foster; children, Travis and Arden Foster, all of McDonough; sister, Julia Presson Edwards of Goldsboro, North Carolina; niece Killian Edwards of Gainesville; nephews, Matt Edwards of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, Reid Edwards of Advance, North Carolina; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Services were held May 22 at McDonough Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Dudley Rose officiating. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations to Henry Medical Center Foundation, Radiology/Oncology Fund, 1133 Eagles Landing Parkway, Stockbridge, Georgia, 30281 in her memory. Rheba Jeanne Mangrum
Rheba Jeanne Mangrum, age 78, of McDonough, Georgia died May 9, 2006. Mrs. Mangrum was born
August 31, 1927 in Paragould, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Elbert and Rose Kay Casper Boone. She was of the Presbyterian faith, was an avid golfer, and a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, John Bell Mangrum, Jr. of McDonough; sons, John Bell Mangrum III of Stone Mountain, James D. Mangrum of Little Elm, Texas ; grandsons, John Bell Mangrum IV and Scott Austin Mangrum; brother, James Boone of Memphis, Tennessee.
Services were held May 13 in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home, with Chaplain Bob Griffin officiating. Haisten Funeral Home of McDonough in charge of arrangements.
Otis Hudson Crumbley
Otis Hudson Crumbley, age 81, of McDonough, Georgia died May 14, 2006. Mr. Crumbley was born
February 23, 1925 in Henry County, the son of the late William Clinton and Ida Lou Knight Crumbley. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII, was retired from Terrace Garden Inn, and was a loving father and grandfather and brother. He also enjoyed spending time riding his tractor.
He is survived by his sons and
daughter-in-law, Doug and Susan Crumbley of McDonough, Andy Crumbley of Decatur; grandchildren, Michelle and Matthew Crumbley; brother and sister-in-law, Eugene and Kate Crumbley of McDonough; sisters, Mary Ruth Burch of McDonough, Virginia Deweese of South Carolina, and Becky Stonecypher of McDonough; nieces and nephews.

Joseph Warren Greer
Joseph Warren "Chunk" Greer, age 59, of Hampton, Georgia died May 8, 2006. Mr. Greer was born
September 19, 1946 in Fulton County, the son of the late Jessie Manley and Vernice Rivers Greer. He graduated from Henry County High School, Class of 1964, was a retired air traffic controller, and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammi Sue Greer.
He is survived by his daughter, Tommi Dawn Greer of Hampton; brothers, Kenneth Manley Greer and Wayne Greer, both of Hampton; niece, Jennifer Greer Clark of Charlotte, North Carolina; nephew, Lance Greer of Flowery Branch.
