LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. - Gordon L. Sisemore of the West Brow community died Wednesday, March 24, 1999, in a local hospital. He was 74.
Services will be today at 1 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Jensen and the Rev. J.L. Black officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Olive cemetery on Lookout Mountain, with Rossville Masonic Lodge 397 conducting graveside services.
Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home.
Treva Stephens
ACWORTH, Ga. - Treva Pearl Stephens died Friday, March 26, 1999. She was 90.
Survivors include a son, Donald D. Stephens, Fort McCoy, Fla.; daughter, Doris Hunt, Acworth; two brothers, Orville Shirley, Chattanooga, and William Shirley, Dadeville, Ala.; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Briarcliff Baptist Church in Atlanta.
Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Gardens in Oak Ridge, Tenn.
Arrangements are by the Cremation Society of Georgia.
Pauline Underwood
DALTON, Ga. - Pauline K. Underwood died Thursday, March 25, 1999, at her home. She was 83.
She was widowed by both Richard Underwood and Glen Tarvin.
Survivors include a daughter, Pat Clayton, Dalton; four brothers, C.B., Robert, Charles and Lamar Kirk, all of Dalton; one grandson and two great-granddaughters.
Services will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at Peeples Funeral Home with the Rev. David Hendrix officiating.
Burial will be in Grove Level Cemetery.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Wilson Epperson
ROCKY FACE, Ga. - Wilson L. Epperson died Tuesday, March 23, 1999, in an area hospital. He was 74.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, was retired from the Civil Service and was a member of the Church of God of the Union Assembly.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Smith Epperson.
Survivors include two sons, Wilson Epperson Jr., Adairsville, Ga., and Alfred Epperson, Berlin, Germany; a brother, Herman Epperson, Rocky Face; two sisters, Lois Taylor, Rocky Face, and Frances Smith, Resaca; and two grandsons.
Services were held Friday at the Church of God of the Union Assembly with the Rev. Charlie Pratt and the Rev. Douglas Pratt officiating.
Burial was in West Hill Cemetery.
Arrangements were made by Ponders Funeral Home.
Marilyn Harness
DALTON, Ga. - Marilyn Ann Harness died Thursday, March 25, 1999, in an area hospital. She was 41.
She was a graduate of Scott County High School, was employed at Star Paper Tube for the past 20 years and was a member of the Temple of the Lord.
Mrs. Harness was a certified umpire for the city of Dalton with the Dalton Parks and Recreation Department.
Survivors include two daughters, Maranda and Michelle Greene, both of Dalton; parents, Fred and Etta Gibson Harness, Huntsville, Ala.; five sisters, Oma Morgan, Alma Newport and Jannie Webb, all of Dalton, Shelia Wright, Soddy-Daisy, and Dora Easley, Ellijay, Ga.; brothers, Willis Harness, Pioneer Tenn., Loyd Harness, Dalton, and Devon Harness, Winona, Tenn.
The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Temple of the Lord, 611 S. Green St. in Dalton, with the Rev. David Henderson and others officiating.
Burial will be in Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be today after 5 p.m. at Ponders Funeral Home.
Jane Johns
DALTON, Ga. - Jane Bramblett Johns died Thursday, March 25, 1999, in an area hospital. She was 45.
She was the daughter of the late Paul and Maude Pritchett Bramblett.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald Johns; three children, Jason, Amanda and Chris Johns, all of Dalton; and a brother, Roger Bramblett, Dalton.
The funeral will be Sunday at 4:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Al Turnell and the Rev. J.B. McNeil officiating.
Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Love Funeral Home.

Dorothy Rawl
DALTON, Ga. - Dorothy G. Rawl died Thursday, March 25, 1999. She was 85.
She was a member of Center Point Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, James Harold Rawl, and a daughter, Doris Tarvin.
Survivors include two sisters, Ina Jo Gordon, Reynolds, Ga., and Julia Brock, Resaca, Ga.; a brother, Ralph T. Ingle, Forsythe, Ga.; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be today at 11 a.m. at Center Point Baptist Church with the Rev. George Ross officiating.
Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
