Johnnie Harmon
CALHOUN, Ga. - Johnnie Mae Beason Harmon died Sunday, March 21, 1999, in an area hospital. She was 87.
She was a retired educator. She attended Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church and was a member of the United Methodist Women, a charter member of the Sonora Eastern Star 484 and had served as president of the Sonoraville community club.
Survivors include her husband, F.A. Harmon; a daughter, Renva Watterson, Arkadelphia, Ark.; son, Reavis Harmon, Calhoun; brother, Bryant Beason, Calhoun; three grandchildren.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Lamar Beason officiating.
Burial will be in Chandler Cemetery, with the Sonora Eastern Star in charge of graveside rites.
The family will receive friends today after 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Doug Baxter
CALHOUN, Ga. - Doug Baxter died Saturday, March 20, 1999, in a local hospital. He was 40.
Services will be held today at 2 p.m. at Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home with Dr. Stephen Pearson and the Rev. Mike Bell officiating.
Burial will be in Floyd Memory Gardens.
Jared Blevins RISING FAWN, Ga. - Jared Levan Blevins died Sunday, March 21, 1999. He was 15.
He was a student at Ridgeland High School and a member of Chattanooga Valley Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Survivors include his parents, Rita and Levan "Buster' Blevins, Rising Fawn; grandparents, Patsy and Marshall Morrow, Rising Fawn; Gwin Blevins, Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Duane Blevins, Menlo, Ga.; aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home in Fort Oglethorpe with Bishop Morehouse and pastor Terrell Stephens officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
The family will receive friends all day today and Wednesday morning before the service at the funeral home.
Edward Brown
RINGGOLD, Ga. - Edward R. Brown died Sunday, March 21, 1999, in a local hospital. He was 71.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, a lifetime member of the American Legion and VFW, and was retired from BTJ Sprinklerfitters Local 669.
He was preceded in death by a son, Lynn Brown, and a grandson, Timmy Brown.
Survivors include his wife, Viola Brown, and a daughter, Linda Brown of Birmingham, Ala.
A graveside service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Anderson Memorial Gardens with the Rev. R.V. Wells officiating.
Visitation will be today from 2 to 9 p.m. at Wallis-Stewart Funeral Home.
Mary Coran
CHATSWORTH, Ga. - Mary Helen Coran died Saturday, March 20, 1999, at her home. She was 54.
She was preceded in death by her father, Cecil Flood.
Survivors include her husband, Buster Lee Coran; three sons, Jimmy, Richard and Danny Coran, all of Chatsworth; mother and stepfather, Evelyn Flood Osborne and Willie Osborne; five brothers, Vernon, Arnold, Kenneth, Gary and Donnie Flood, all of Chatsworth; four sisters, Wanda Goswick, Gwnynell Osborne and Janice Haynes, all of Chatsworth, and Brenda Goble, Fairmount, Ga.
Services will be today at 3 p.m. at Lakeview Baptist Church with the Rev. James Smith and other ministers officiating.
Burial will be in Murray Memorial Gardens.

DALTON, Ga. - Betty C. Bordon Bishop died Sunday, March 21, 1999, at her home. She was 60.
She was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Edith Tefeteller Peterson.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Bishop; son, Jimmy Borden; stepson, Johnny Borden, Dalton; three sisters, Barbara Fagg, Maryville, Tenn., Linda Shields, Charleston, S.C.; and Carolyn Page, Cohutta, Ga.; several stepgrandchildren.

DALTON, Ga. - Catherine Crum "Cathy' Baggett died Sunday, March 21, 1999, at her home. She was 55.
Survivors include her husband, David V. Baggett; daughter, Cheryl Ledford, Dalton; son, Thomas Johnston, Chatsworth, Ga.; sister, Velma Sosebee, Dalton; brother, James V. Crum, Chatsworth; and two grandchildren.

DALTON, Ga. - O.F. McDaniel Sr. died Monday, March 22, 1999. He was 89.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Davis McDaniel.
Survivors include two sons, Frank McDaniel, Ringgold, Ga., and Bill McDaniel, Atlanta; a daughter, Judy Calder, Roswell, Ga.; and six grandchildren.
Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Arlington Memorial Park cemetery in Sandy Springs, Ga., with the Rev. Larry Burgess officiating.
Visitation will be Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Love Funeral Home.
