ETON, Ga. - Lee Roy Headrick died Tuesday, March 16, 1999, in an area medical center. He was 75.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Headrick; three sons, Leon, Edward, and David Headrick, all of Eton; seven sisters, Rae Spivey, Eton, Betty Morris, Dalton, Emma Cox and Bobbie Hawkins, both of Dawnville, Ga., Aileen Bandy, Dalton, Jeannette Kersey, Tennga, Ga., and Wanda Baggett, Chatsworth, Ga.; four brothers, Jimmy Headrick, Benton, Tenn., Tommy and Billy Headrick, both of Cleveland, and Steve Headrick, Crandall, Ga.; stepmother, Nola Headrick, Crandall; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be today at 2 p.m. at Dewberry Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronnie Rogers and the Rev. Jerry Noland officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Arrangements are by Peeples Funeral Home, Chatsworth.
Gradon Evans
CHATSWORTH, Ga. - Gradon Evans Jr. died Tuesday, March 16, 1999, in an area hospital. He was 77.
Survivors include his wife, Odell Evans; a son, Donald Evans, Chatsworth; three grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Services will be today at 2 p.m. at Peeples Funeral Home with brother Dewey Medlin and brother Charles Atnip officiating.
Burial will be in Chatsworth Heights Cemetery.
Wendy Ferguson
SUMMERVILLE, Ga. - Wendy M. Ferguson died Tuesday, March 16, 1999, at her home. She was 17.
She was a student at Chattooga High School and was a Baptist.
Survivors include her parents, Patricia and James Butler; sister, Christie Butler, Summerville; two stepsisters, Nancy Hughs, and Connie Bethune, Summerville; stepbrother, Phillip Butler, Summerville; stepgrandfather, Robert Jordan, Rainsville, Ala.; and great-grandmother, Johnnie Mac Dalton, Rossville, Ga.
Services will be today at 2 p.m. at Erwin-Petitt Funeral Home, Summerville, with the Rev. Jimmy Weaver and the Rev. Terry Shores officiating.
Burial will be in Mountain View Memory Gardens, in Fort Payne, Ala.
Billy Carter
CALHOUN, Ga. - Billy Paul Carter died Tuesday, March 16, 1999. He was 51.
Mr. Carter was an employee of Z.D.S. Designs and was a captain of the 28th Georgia Co. "G' Freeman Guard Civil War re-enactors.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wiley Carter.
Survivors include his wife, Sherry Tinch Carter; son, Brent Carter, White, Ga.; his mother, Beatrice Parks Carter, Calhoun; three sisters, Helen Carter, Iva Nell Raines and Peggy Carter, all of Calhoun; and two grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Thomas Funeral Home with minister Frank Mills officiating.
Burial will be in Gordon Memorial Gardens, with the Freeman Guard in charge of military rites.
Visitation will be Friday after 4 p.m. at the funeral home.

DALTON, Ga. - Darlene McMichael Broome died Sunday, March 14, 1999, in an area hospital. She was 39.

ADAIRSVILLE, Ga. - Ruth Belcher Mealer of the Plainview community died Thursday, March 18, 1999, at her home. She was 93.
She was a member of Plainview Baptist Church and was the widow of Homer Mealer.
Survivors include three duaghters, Betty Dilbeck and Joyce Nicholson, Adairsville, and Wanda Hibberts, Fairmount, Ga.; four sons, Harold and James Mealer, Adairsville, Paul Mealer, Calhoun, Ga., and Ralph Mealer; 17 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Services will be today at 2 p.m. at Plainview Baptist Church with the Rev. G.W. Shaw and the Rev. Gary Hibberts officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.

TRENTON, Ga. - Michael James Nethery of Friant, Calif., formerly of Trenton, died Thursday, March 11, 1999, at his home. He was 53.
A graveside service will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home in Trenton.
