DALTON, Ga. - Darlene McMichael died Sunday, March 14, 1999, in an area hospital. She was 39.
Arrangements will be announced by Willis Funeral Home, Dalton.
James Wright
James T. Wright of Fort Oglethorpe, Ga., died Thursday, March 11, 1999, in an area hospital. He was 89.
He was a Baptist and was a retired bus driver for the Walker County school system.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary Salters, Fort Oglethorpe; two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Services will be Wednesday at noon at New Salem Baptist Church with the Rev. Talmadge Clark, Elder Chester Harris, and others officiating.
Burial will be in Marsh Memorial Gardens in the Noble community.
The body will be at the church one hour prior to the service.
Arrangements are by Willis Funeral Home, Dalton.
Lorena Pitts
Lorena "Babe' Pitts of Chickamauga, Ga., died Wednesday, March 17, 1999, in a local nursing care facility. She was 91.
She was a lifelong resident of the High Point area and a member of Lookout Baptist Church.
Survivors include a niece, Jo Douglas, Chickamauga, and a nephew, Bret Douglas, Dalton, Ga.
A graveside service will be Friday at 10 a.m. in Lookout cemetery with the Rev. Donald Self officiating.
Visitation will be today after 2 p.m. at W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.

LaFAYETTE, Ga. - James Garfield "Brut' Suttles died Tuesday, March 16, 1999, in an area health care center. He was 88.

Lucy Wagnon
CHATSWORTH, Ga. - Lucy Elizabeth Wagnon of Collegedale, formerly of Chatsworth, died Tuesday, March 16, 1999, in an area life care facility. She was 96.
Survivors include two nieces, Syble Smith and Gladys Thomas, and a nephew, Frank Hall, all of Calhoun, Ga.
Services were Wednesday at Kenemer Brothers Funeral Home, Dalton, Ga.
Burial was in Casey Springs cemetery in Chatsworth.
Eva Wolfe
DALTON, Ga. - Eva Mac Burch Wolfe of Marietta, Ga., and formerly of Dalton, died there Tuesday, March 16, 1999. She was 81.
She was the widow of Henry C. Wolfe Sr.
Survivors include two daughters, Dianne Patterson, Marietta, and Eva Nell DeLoach, Austell, Ga.; two sons, Henry Wolfe Jr., Port Charlotte, Fla., and Earl Wolfe, Acworth, Ga.; four sisters, Viola Hayes and Ople Defore, both of Dalton, Dimple Casey, Doraville, Ga., and Minnie Roberts, Jacksonville, Fla.; four brothers, Earl and James Burch, both of Jacksonville, Ivan Burch, Stockbridge, Ga., and Henry Burch, Fayetteville, S.C.; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be Thursday at 3 p.m. at Kenemer Brothers Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Brock and the Rev. Al Turnell officiating.
Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
Dessie Rolen
DALTON, Ga. - Dessie Sanford Rolen died Wednesday, March 17, 1999, at her home. She was 86.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Rolen Sr., and two sons, Bobby and Jackie Rolen.
Survivors include three daughters, Jean Rolen, Dalton, Sue Wooten, Ringgold, Ga., and Wanda Smith, Cohutta, Ga.; four sons, V.C. Rolen, Dalton, Bill Rolen, Alabama, Clarence Rolen Jr., Chatsworth, Ga., and Duane Rolen, Resaca, Ga.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Peeples Funeral Home with the Rev. Johnny Lee Masters officiating.
Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be today after 4 p.m. at the funeral home.

SUMMERVILLE, Ga. - Dorothy N. Howell died Tuesday, March 16, 1999, in an area hospital. She was 51.
She was a member of Trion United Methodist Church. She and her husband, Mike Howell, operated Howell Motors in the Pennville community of Summerville.
Survivors other than her husband include her mother, Mildred McCullough, Broometown, Ala.; daughter, Rhona Howell, Lawrenceville, Ga.; brother, Dwight McCullough, Broometown; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be today at 2 p.m. at Trion United Methodist Church with the Rev. Art Graves officiating.
Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
The body will be at the church one hour before the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the church.

TUNNEL HILL, Ga. - Leon Jones died Tuesday, March 16, 1999. He was 69.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Putnam Jones.
Survivors include his wife, Neda Broadrick Jones, Tunnel Hill; children, Eric, Tana and Leslie Jones, all of Maryville, Tenn.
Services will be today at 2 p.m. at Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Lillard Stringer and the Rev. Clyde Painter officiating.
