CHICKAMAUGA - Patricia Ann Wooten died Tuesday, April 6, 1999. She was 47.
She was a member of the Church of God.
Survivors include her husband, Grover "Bill' Wooten; two sons, William Junior Wooten and Buddy Lee Wooten, Chickamauga; one daughter, Darlene Gilreath, Rossville; father, Robert Lee Goins, Ringgold; brother, Bobby Goins, Rossville; three sisters, Gloria Jean Walls, Chickamauga, and Cindy Cochran and Brenda Cain, Ringgold; and five grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at J. Avery Bryan Funeral Home in Chickamauga with the Rev. Bobby Goins and the Rev. John Graham officiating.
Burial will be in LaFayette City Cemetery.
Visitation will be today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Steve Andrews
ROCKY FACE - Steve Allen Andrews died Wednesday, April 28, 1999, at his home. He was 33.
He was employed at distribution plant 34-B of Shaw Industries, was a 1985 graduate of Dalton High School and a member of the football team there.
Survivors include his wife, Bridgett Suttles Andrews; a son, Justin A. Andrews; his parents, Allen and Sarah Frances Moore Andrews; grandmothers, Dollie Moore, Dalton and Cora Willis Andrews, Tignall, Ga.
The funeral will be today at 1 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Jones, the Rev. William Harvey and other ministers officiating.
Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Wallis Funeral Home, Dalton.
Lois Elgin
MENLO - Lois Baker Elgin died Thursday, April 29, 1999, in an area hospital. She was 94.
Mrs. Elgin was a member of Menlo Presbyterian Church and was retired from the U.S. State Department.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Eugene Elgin.
Survivors include a stepdaughter, Lois Ann Lasser, Rockville, Md.; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held Friday at 2 p.m. in Alpine cemetery with the Rev. Billy Dempsey officiating.
Arrangements were made by J.D. Hill Funeral Home, Summerville, Ga.
Roxie Floyd
DALTON - Roxie Viola Floyd died Thursday, April 29, 1999, in an area hospital. She was 85.
She was a native of Whitfield County, Ga., and the widow of Clyde Edward Floyd.
Survivors include a son, William E. Floyd Sr., Dalton; two sisters, Grace Nixon, Calhoun, and Lois Watson, Macon, Ga.; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Ponders Funeral Home with the Rev. Lloyd Guffey officiating.
Burial will be in Dawnville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
John Haubenreich
FLINTSTONE - John Edward Haubenreich Jr., who retired in 1976 as principal at Chattanooga Valley High School, died Tuesday, April 27, 1999, in Fort Myers, Fla. He was 81.
The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home, East, with ministers John Cupp and Clarence Gates officiating.
Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
The family will receive friends today from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Homer Lankford
DALTON - Homer E. Lankford died Wednesday, April 28, 1999, in an area hospital. He was 83.
A graveside service will be today at 3 p.m. in West Hill cemetery with the Rev. Benson Parker officiating.
Edna McMillon
RINGGOLD - Edna Williams McMillon died Thursday, April 29, 1999, in a local hospital. She was 90.
Mrs. McMillon, a native of Wartburg, Tenn., was an elementary school teacher in the Catoosa County school system for many years.
She was a former organist at Ringgold First Baptist Church and the Northside Baptist Church. She was a member of Ringgold First Baptist Church and its Debora Sunday School Class.
Survivors include her husband, J.W. McMillon; a son, Bill McMillon, Ringgold; a daughter, Minerva McMillon Kelley, Orlando, Fla.; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Ringgold First Baptist Church with the Rev. Bruce Sloan officiating.
Burial will be in Anderson Cemetery.
The body will be at the church one hour before the service.
Arrangements are by Wallis-Stewart Funeral Home, Ringgold.

SUMMERVILLE - Mary Jean Richardson died Friday, April 30, 1999, in an area hospital.

Donald Sanders
CONYERS - Donald S. "Donny' Sanders, formerly of Rockwood, Tenn., died Friday, April 23, 1999. He was 52.
Mr. Sanders was an automotive mechanic with Ryder Truck Rental Co., a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Dry Hill Baptist Church in Rockwood.
Survivors include three sons, Steven, Wayne and Jay Sanders, all of Conyers; three brothers, Charles and Bill Sanders, both of Columbia, S.C., and Jim Sanders, Decatur, Tenn.
A graveside service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in Hooker (Ga.) cemetery with the Rev. Tim Bracken officiating.
There will be no visitation at Moore Funeral Home in Trenton, Ga.
Ruby Shipman
CLOUDLAND - Ruby Flarity Shipman died Friday, April 30, 1999, at her home. She was 84.
Mrs. Shipman was the mother of the late George Hugh Shipman.
Survivors include her husband, Carl Shipman; two sons, Richard and Lester Shipman, both of Cloudland; three sisters, Kitty Flarity and Sarah Gregory, both of Cloudland, and Lora Belle Shields, LaFayette; and a brother, Arlin Flarity, Cloudland.
The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at LaFayette Funeral Home with the Rev. Willard Thrasher officiating.
Burial will be in Little River cemetery in Mentone, Ala.
The family will receive friends today after 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
