DALTON, Ga. - Mattie Jamaine Bolling of Summerville, Ga., died Friday, Jan. 23, 1998, at her home. She was 45.
Arrangements will be announced by Willis Funeral Home.
Charlotte Bowers
Charlotte Marie Bowers of Chickamauga, Ga., died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 1998, in a local hospital. She was 68.
She was retired from Crystal Springs Textiles, after 39 years of service, and was a member of Old Bethel Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Shirley Platt, Apopka, Fla., and Ruth Walker, Brantley, Ala.
Funeral services were held today at 11 a.m. at J. Avery Bryan Funeral Home in Chickamauga, with the Rev. Bill Casteele officiating.
Burial was in LaFayette Memory Gardens.
Wayne Bramblett
CALHOUN, Ga. - Wayne Bramblett died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 1998, in an area hospital. He was 44.
A native of Gordon County, he was a 1971 graduate of Calhoun High School.
He was the son of the late Dick and Mabel Talley Bramblett and was a member of Hill City Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Pam Caplinger and Tina Holden, both of the Hill City community, and Donna Kemp, Rome; three sons, Michael, Ricky and Timmy Bramblett, all of the Hill City community.
The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Hill City Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary Tate and other ministers officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be today after 1 p.m. at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
Rosa Brewer
DALTON, Ga. - Rosa J. Brewer, formerly of La Grange, Ga., died Saturday, Jan. 31, 1998, at her home. She was 88.
Services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Willis Funeral Home, Dalton, with the Rev. W.M. Brown and other ministers officiating.
Burial will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Southview cemetery in LaGrange, Ga., with the Rev. James Ware officiating.
Mrs. Flossie Hixon Broome
Mrs. Flossie Hixon Broome of Chickamauga, Ga., died Saturday, Jan. 24, 1998, in a local hospital. She was 105.
She was a native of Wood Station, Ga., the daughter of the late William Franklin and Charlotte Burke Hixon Reed.
She was a member of Elizabeth Lee United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a grandson, Charles Lee Pickell; and a great-granddaughter.
Services will be Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. EST at Elizabeth Lee United Methodist Church with Dr. Larry Summerour officiating.
Burial will follow in Chickamauga Cemetery.
The body will be at the church's fellowship hall from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday.
Memorial contributions may be made to Elizabeth Lee United Methodist Church.

T.F. Broome, 81
Rossville, Ga., businessman Talbot Fernwood Broome died Friday, Feb. 6, 1998, at his home. He was 81.
The Warren County, Tenn., native established and operated Fernwood Poultry Farm and Hatcheries in 1939. He later was vice president of Outside Carpets in Rome, Ga.
He was a member of Brainerd Baptist Church.
He was a son of the late Grover C. and Dovie Duncan Broome.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Broome; three daughters, Sharon Shoaf, Fern Carter and Annice Johnson, all of Chattanooga; a brother, Doc Broome, East Ridge; a stepbrother, Roy Duncan, Chattanooga; five grandchildren, one great-grandson and two stepgrandsons.
Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Bond officiating.
Burial will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
The family will receive friends today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Sarah Brown
Sarah Elizabeth "Sally' Bradley Brown of Rossville, Ga., died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 1998, in Fort Oglethorpe. She was 94.
A native and lifelong resident of the North Georgia area, she had been a member of the Cloud Springs Baptist Church for over 50 years.
She was the widow of Thomas L. Brown, the mother of the late John T. Brown and the grandmother of the late Charlie Galbreath.
Survivors include three sons, Marion V. Brown of Baltimore, Md., Willard R. "Bud' Brown of Rehoboth, Del., and Samuel M. "Pete' Brown, Atlanta; two daughters, Laura E. Lippert, Stevensville, Mich., and Joyce Lane Galbreath, Nashville; one sister, Vickie Fowler, Chickamauga, Ga.; 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at Cloud Springs Baptist Church.
Burial will be in the Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
Visitation will be today from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, Battlefield Parkway.

Thomas Burke
RESACA, Ga. - Thomas Allen Burke Sr. died Saturday, Jan. 24, 1998, at his home. He was 89.
A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the St. Clement Catholic Church, with Father Leo Cummings and Brother Robert Russell officiating.
Burial will follow in the Chandler Cemetery.
A wake service will be held today at 7 p.m. at the Thomas Funeral Home in Calhoun, with Father Leo Cummings officiating.
The family will receive friends today after 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Marguarette Byers
ROCK SPRINGS, Ga. - Marguarette H. Byers died Saturday, Jan. 24, 1998, in an area hospital. She was 71.
A lifelong resident of Rock Springs, she attended the Chickamauga Church of Christ.
She was retired from K-Mart in Fort Oglethorpe, Ga. after 15 years of service.
Survivors include one son, Richard Byers, Rock Springs; one aunt, Sallie Taylor, Rossville, Ga.; and three grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Rock Springs United Methodist cemetery with the Rev. Elford Collins Strickland officiating.
Visitation will be today from 4 to 8 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home, Rossville.
