LaFAYETTE, Ga. - James L. Gilreath died Tuesday, Feb. 17, 1998, in an area hospital. He was 74.
Survivors include his wife, Alene Gilreath; two daughters, Delores Morgan-Bowman, Ringgold, and Pam Maples, LaFayette; son, David Gilreath, Birmingham, Ala.; two sisters, Tressie Gilreath and Mary Wardlaw, both of LaFayette; brother, Hugh Lee Gilreath, Texas; six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home with the Rev. Oscar Stapp and the Rev. Harlen Loggins officiating.

Burial will be in LaFayette Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be today from 3 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Flossie Grady
CHATSWORTH, Ga. - Flossie Marie Grady of Oldfort, Tenn., died Friday, Feb. 13, 1998, at a local hospital. She was 72.
Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Peeples Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Rogers officiating.

Burial will be in Tennga Cemetery.

Flora Hambey
LaFAYETTE, Ga. - Flora Elizabeth Hall Hambey died Tuesday, Feb. 10, 1998.
Arrangements will be announced by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.

Shirley Hampton
LaFAYETTE, Ga. - Shirley Sue Lankford Hampton died Sunday, Feb. 1, 1998, in an area hospital. She was 62.
Survivors include her husband, Robert P. Hampton, LaFayette; two daughters, Paula Sue Atwood, Ringgold, Ga., Tracie Renee Jenkins, Havalock, N.C.; three sisters, Hellen Green, LaFayette, Patsey Lowrance and Lorene Bramlett, both of Summerville, Ga.; two brothers, Tommy F. and Bobby S. Lankford, both of LaFayette; and five grandchildren.

Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette, with the Rev. Ricky Broom officiating

Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery, Calhoun, Ga.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home all day today.

Willie Hanley
TUNNEL HILL, Ga. - Willie Mae Hanley died recently in a local hospital. She was 93.
Arrangements will be announced by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home, Rossville.

Tina Gail Harper
DALTON, Ga. - Tina Gail Harper died Sunday, Feb. 8, 1998, in an area hospital. She was 44.
Survivors include her parents, Clarence and Virginia Harper; and two sisters, Denise Stanley and Sandy Helton, all of Dalton.

Services will be Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. at Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas Black and the Rev. James Whitmore officiating.

Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be today after 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Curtis Harris
LaFAYETTE, Ga. - Curtis Harris died Thursday, Jan. 22, 1998, at a local hospital. He was 59.
Survivors include his two daughters, Cynthia M. Pagleno, Fort Oglethorpe, Ga., and Sandra Millinax, Englewood, Tenn.; seven grandchildren; nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

A memorial service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home with minister Donald Elleman officiating.

Burial will be in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.

Visitation will be today after 2 p.m.

Raleigh Hawkins Sr.
RISING FAWN, Ga. - Raleigh Alexander Hawkins Sr., died Monday morning, Feb. 16, 1998, in a local hospital. He was 57.
Mr. Hawkins was retired from TVA as a machinist and a member of the Machinests and Aerospace Workers Local 1458 of Chattanooga.

He was a member of Cloverdale Baptist Church and the National Trappers Association.

Survivors include his wife, Joan Hawkins, Rising Fawn; two daughters, Mary Shefski, Henagar, Ala., and Carrie Hawkins, Rising Fawn; two sons, Raleigh A. Hawkins Jr., Daytona Beach, Fla., and Cameron A. Hawkins, Chattanooga; two sisters, Mary Ellen Forester and Katherine Goode, both of Rising Fawn; one brother, E.M. "Brodie' Hawkins, Rising Fawn; and six grandchildren.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Ryan Funeral Home, Trenton, with the Rev. Danny Butler officiating.

Burial will be in Beane Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Phyllis Hayes
RESACA, Ga. - Phyllis Hayes died Saturday, Jan. 31, 1998, in an area hospital.
Arrangements will be announced by the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home.

Alice Henderson
ROCKY FACE, Ga. - Alice Franklin Henderson died Sunday, Feb. 8, 1998, at her home. She was 77.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John S. Henderson.

Survivors include two sons, Wayne and Charles Henderson; one sister, Ivy Martin; brother, James Franklin, all of Rocky Face, and Joyce Kirby Franklin, Calhoun, Ga.; 18 grandchildren; and several great- and great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Love Funeral Home, Dalton, with the Rev. John Manley and the Rev. Paul Winston officiating.

Burial will follow in Lindsey Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today after 5 p.m.

William Herron
IDER, Ala. - William Arthur Herron died Monday, Feb. 2, 1998, in a Trenton, Ga., nursing home. He was 91.
Services were to be today at 2 p.m. CST at Kerby Funeral Home in Henagar with the Rev. Ronnie Day officiating.

Burial was to be in Smith's Chapel cemetery in Ider.

Rosteen Dobbins
HIGDON, Ala. - Rosteen Dobbins died Tuesday, Feb. 10, 1998, at her home. She was 86.
She was the widow of Sam W. Dobbins and was the mother of the late Lloyd and Glen Dobbins.

Survivors include a son, Sammy Dobbins, Higdon; two daughters, Betty Jean Morris and Joan Hixon, both of Higdon; three sisters, Martha Cagle, Trenton, Ga., Luie Cloud, Higdon, and Alline Griffith, Rosalie, Ala.; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. CST at Kerby Funeral Home in Henagar, Ala., with the Rev. Ralph Long and the Rev. Bill Castleberry officiating.

Burial will be in Oaklawn cemetery in Bryant, Ala.

The family will receive friends today from 5 to 9 p.m. CST, and Friday until 9 p.m. CST at the funeral home.

Helen Dodd
TRENTON, Ga. - Helen Lucille Dodd of Head River, Ga., died Saturday, Jan. 31, 1998, in a local hospital. She was 80.

A longtime resident of the Head River community, she as of the Primative Baptist faith, and the widow of Marvin Dodd.

Survivors include three daughters, Myrtis Prescot, Mobile, Ala., Sheryl Reddell, Kennesaw, Ga., and Donna Fraser, Chattanooga; three sons, Kenneth Dodd, Red Bank, Tom Dodd, Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Steve Dodd, Head River; one sister, Imogene Neal, Chattanooga; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Trenton with the Rev. Larry Everett officiating.

Burial will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Head River.

Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m.
