Marshal Brady Turner
Marshal Brady Turner, age 58, of McDonough, Georgia, died September 29, 2009. He was born
in Fulton County to the late William Kent and Lelia Marie Evans Turner. He was preceded in death by siblings, Anita Turner, Troy Turner and June Wilson. He was retired from Atlanta Gas Light and was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting and deep sea fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Turner; sons, John and Chuck Turner, both of Locust Grove; grandchildren, Evan, Maddox, Carter, Dylan, Hailey and Emily Turner; brothers, John Turner of Locust Grove, Calvin Turner of McDonough, Bill Turner of Morrow.

Ava May Sims Kirkbride
Ava May Sims Kirkbride, age 77, of Stockbridge, Georgia, died September 29, 2009. She was born
in Birmingham, Alabama, to the late Richard Ed-ward and Ruby Kathleen Huelett Kirkbride.
Mrs. Kirkbride is survived by her husband, Rex Ross Kirk-bride; children, Linda (Wayne) Florenza, Dallas, Texas and John (Rebecca) Kirkbride, Carrollton; grandchildren, Wes Kirkbride, Stephen Florenza, and Chris Kirkbride; and brother, Clyde Sims, Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Memorial services were held on October 3 at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds, Alabama. Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors.
Robert Cecil Neese
Robert Cecil Neese, age 77, of McDonough, Georgia, died September 29, 2009. He was born
in LaGrange to the late George Payton and Edna Lowery Neese. He served his country in the United States Navy and was a retired truck driver.
Survivors include his children, Cecil Neese of Riverdale, Cindy Taylor of Fort Long, South Ca-rolina, and Lynne Tobey of Waxhaw, North Carolina; grandchildren and a sister.

Elmo Pratt
Elmo Pratt, age 80, of Stock-bridge, Georgia, died September 29, 2009. He was born
in Green-wood, South Carolina to the late Luther Robert and Willie Bethea Gibson Pratt. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Audrey R. Pratt. Mr. Pratt retired from GM/Detroit Diesel. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church, an avid golfer, woodworker, and Air Streamer.
Mr. Pratt is survived by his wife, Shirley Ann Pratt; children, Douglas Gibson (Donna) Pratt, McDonough, and Pamela (Don) Winberg, Big Canoe; step-childen, Alisa Duffey (Charlie) Rogers, Powder Springs, and Cherry (Rick) Umberger, Milledgeville; five grandchildren, one step-grandson, four great-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren.

Glen Nelson Carder
Glen Nelson Carder, age 74, of McDonough, Georgia, died October 1, 2009. Mr. Carder was born
in Union County, the son of the late Nellie Jane Payne and Clifford Grover Carder. He served in the Army National Guard for 39 years. He worked for NASCAR for 16 plus years and Walker Brothers for 15 years. Mr. Carder was a hard working man who enjoyed his family, friends and restoring old cars. He was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Carder.
Survivors are his wife, Marie Carder of McDonough; sons and daughter-in-laws, Tom and Cheri Carder of Locust Grove and Jerry and Kim Carder of Stock-bridge; grandchildren, Zachary, Tyler and Kendell Carder; sisters, Bernice Warren of Blairsville and Winnie Hull of Fayetteville; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Carder were held October 4 in the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home, with Rev. Floyd Henderson and Rev. Paul Carder officiating. Interment at Forest Hills Cemetery

Andrew Donald Nellenback
Andrew Donald Nellenback, age 67, of McDonough, Georgia, died September 30, 2009. He was born
in Syracuse, New York, to the late Andrew Dwyer and Catherine Agnes Murray Nellenback. He served his country with the United States Air Force. He retired as a vice president in the banking industry.
Mr. Nellenback is survived by his former spouse, Sarah Nellenback, McDonough; daughter, Julie Nellenback, Atlanta; son, Matthew Nellenback, Tyler, Tex-as; brother, David Nellenback, Syracuse, New York; and sister, Anne Bray, Stoneham, Massachusetts.

Bonnie Winfrey King
Bonnie Winfrey King, age 84, of Stockbridge, Georgia, died October 1, 2009. Mrs. King was born
in Madison County to the late Alvin and Pearl Winfrey. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James E. King.
She is survived by her daughters and sons in-law, Bonnie Frances Butrum of Villa Rica, Juanita and Charlie Bright of Stockbridge, Wanda and Timothy Graham of Forest Park; son and daughter in-law, Michael and Donna King of Sharpsburg; sisters Evelyn Hanley, and Helen Horne; eight grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren.
