Barbara Spradlin Morris
Barbara Spradlin Morris, age 77, of Hampton, Georgia died September 22, 2006. Mrs. Morris was born
in Senoia, the daughter of the late Carl Augustus and Dallie Louise Foster Spradlin. She was a member of Berea Christian Church in Hampton, and enjoyed sewing, canning and freezing vegetables. Her greatest passion was her flowers, working with her hands, and gardening. She loved making things grow, a trait she inherited from her mother. Most important she was a strong family woman. She was preceded in death by her husband, William David Morris.
She is survived by her daughter Dianne Lynch of Hampton; grandchildren, Tim Lynch of Ellenwood, Scott Lynch of Hampton; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Herman (Joanne) Spradlin of Griffin, Billy (Helen) Spradlin of Turin, and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held September 24 at Berea Christian Church, with Minister David Fulton officiating. Interment Berea Cemetery. Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
Darlene Dunn
Darlene Dunn, age 74, of McDonough, Georgia died September 24, 2006. Mrs. Dunn was born
in Hapeville, the daughter of John Nelph and Faye Inez Burns Howell. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many.
She is survived by her husband, Clyde R. Dunn of McDonough; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa (James) Priestley of McMinnville, Tennessee; grandson and wife, Shannon (Ellen) Priestley of McMinnville, Tennessee; granddaughter, Stacey Priestley of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; grandson and wife, Jay (Elizabeth) Priestley of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; brothers and sister-in-law, Hugh Howell of Rex, Pete (Louise) Howell of College Park; sisters and brother-in-law; Helen (Charles) Peevy of Union City, Inez Hale of Roswell; two great-grandchildren, Jackson and Emily Priestley of Tennessee.
Services were held September 26 in the chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors, with Richard Harp and Forest Chapman officiating. Interment Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
Eleanor MacLauchlin
Eleanor MacLauchlin, age 81, of Stockbridge, Georgia died September 26, 2006. Mrs. MacLauchlin was born
in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania , the daughter of the late Peter and Henrietta Baginski Kos. She taught ukulele for five years in Hawaii, loved sewing and all types of needle work, water color painting, and loved Japanese flower arranging. She was a member of Jodeco United Methodist Church and a lifetime Sunday school teacher. She had a special love for God's creation. She was preceded in death by her son, John A. MacLauchlin; and sister, Evelyn O’Malley.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Richard Breamer MacLauchlin of Stockbridge; sons, William R. (Carol) MacLauchlin of Stockbridge, Peter Wayne (Diana) MacLauchlin of Indio, California; grandchildren, Matthew MacLauchlin, Kari MacLauchlin, Neil MacLauchlin; great-grandchildren, Hunter MacLauchlin and Alexis MacLauchlin; sister, Frances Bradbury of Harleysville, Pennsylvania .

Floyd Wilson, Sr.
Floyd Wilson, Sr., age 87, of Stockbridge, Georgia died September 27, 2006. Mr. Wilson was born
in Batesville, the son of the late Elbert Barnett and Ora Irene Carson Wilson. He served our country with the U.S. Army and enjoyed gardening, building, and developing. He was a member of the Stockbridge First United Methodist Church, where he enjoyed working. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Marvin Wilson, Dewey Jay Wilson, and Lee Wilson; and sister, Birdie Wilson.
He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Cooke Wilson of Stock-bridge; son, Elbert Floyd (Cindy) Wilson, Jr.; and grandsons, Joshua Blake Wilson and Brandon Dewey Wilson, all of McDonough; brothers, Grady (Lucy) Wilson of Lawrenceville, Ronald (Sarah) Wilson of Charlotte, North Carolina, Bennie (Dot) Wilson of Marietta; and sister-in-law, Polly Wilson of Sheffield, Alabama.
Services were held September 29 at Stockbridge First United Methodist Church, with Rev. Jim McRae and Dr. Jay Hodges officiating. Interment Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Billy Marshall Pope
Billy Marshall Pope, age 63, of McDonough, Georgia died September 27, 2006. Mr. Pope was born
July 3, 1943 in Fulton County, the son of Drucilla Sue Marchant Pope of Monticello and the late Hubert Cary Pope. He retired from Delta Airlines with 32 years of service, was a member of First Baptist Church of Hapeville, served his country with the U.S. Air Force and enjoyed his family, friends and fishing.
He is survived by wife, Harriet Straider Pope of McDonough; children, Kathy Zumbro of Marietta, Linda Pope of Chamblee; sister, Brenda Trice of Monticello; and grandson, Georgie Zumbro of Marietta.
Services were held September 30 in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home, with Rev. Gary Lewis officiating. Interment College Park Cemetery. Haisten Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Scott Griffitts
Scott Griffitts, age 51, of Stockbridge, Georgia died September 27, 2006. Mr. Griffitts was born
in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. He was preceded in death, by his father, Claude Griffitts.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Denise Hinton Griffitts of Stockbridge; son, Benjamin Scott Griffitts of Stockbridge; daughter, Jennifer Denise Griffitts of Zebulon; mother, Mary Elizabeth Cordle Griffitts; siblings, Derrick Griffitts, Claudette Cobb, Natasha Bowen, Matthew Griffitts, Tanya Godfrey, and Seresa Franklin, all of Stockbridge.

Jose David Irizarry, age 34, of Stockbridge, Georgia died September 29, 2006. Mr. Irizarry was born
in San German, Puerto Rico.
He is survived by his wife, Mabel Suarez Rivera of Stockbridge; and parents, Jose Manuel Irizarry and Josefina Claudio.

Richard Robertson
Richard "Rick" Robertson, age 55, of McDonough, Georgia died September 29, 2006. Mr. Robertson was born
in Decatur. He served in the U.S. Army and was a Dekalb County police officer for 31 years. His hobbies were hunting arrow heads, fishing, camping, gardening, and he loved the Atlanta Braves. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend to many.
He is survived by his wife, Kay McMullen Robertson; sons and daughter-in-law; Kevin (Elena) Robertson, Travis Robertson; and grandchildren, Ireland Robertson, Kade Robertson, Scot and Trey, all of McDonough; parents, James Marvin and Betty Wilkins Robertson; brother, Rodney (Paula) Robertson; and sister, Gloria (Terry) Farmer, all of Covington.

Marchita Oxendine Karle
Marchita Oxendine Karle, age 75, of McDonough, Georgia died October 1, 2006. Mrs. Karle was born
June 1, 1931 in Baxley, the daughter of the late Louise Carter and Beech Oxendine. She was a devoted caregiver who always put others first. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Karle; and son, James Edward Courson.
She is survived by her son and daughters-in-law, Shyrel and Anita Thomas of Hendersonville, Tennessee and Charles and Barbara June Poole of Kennesaw; five grandchildren; six great- grandchildren; sisters, Lavonda Reid of Locust Grove, Carol Jenkins of Steinhatchee, Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Winnie C. Moore
Winnie C. Moore, age 83, of McDonough, Georgia died September 1, 2006. Mrs. Moore was born
in Greene County, the daughter of the late Melvin and Willie Mae Pittard Caldwell. She enjoyed baking, canning, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and was an avid reader.
She is survived by her children, Ronald J. and Jerry Sue Moore of Rex, William L. and Barbara Moore, Jr. of Stockbridge, Eugenia E. and Bobby Queen of Atlanta, John T. Moore, Lamar H. Moore, Michael E. Moore, all of McDonough, Steve D. and Pam Moore of Locust Grove; sister, Millie Lockhart of Marietta; brothers, Curtis Caldwell of Lilburn, Odell Caldwell of Covington; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
