William Arthur Logan, Sr.
William Arthur Logan, Sr., age 81, of McDonough, Georgia, died October 6, 2009. Mr. Logan was born
in Walker, the son of the late Jennette Gray Kitchens and James Marcus Logan. Mr. Logan was a welder; he enjoyed being a ham operator and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Jean Montgomery Logan, son-in-law Steve Layton and several siblings.
Survivors are his children, Bill Logan (Monica) of Fayetteville, Gary Logan of Forest Park, Jennie Keck (Glenn) of Locust Grove, Fran Wood (Steve) of McDonough, and Becky Layton of McDonough; brother, Rufus Logan of Chickamauga; 17 grand-children and 28 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A graveside service for Mr. Logan was held October 8 at College Park Cemetery, with Rev Herman Wike officiating. Haisten Funeral Home, McDonough, 770-914-8833.
Marilyn Ann Rogers-DiNino
Marilyn Ann Rogers-DiNino, age 72, of Stockbridge, Georgia, died October 5, 2009. She was born
in Winchester, Massachusetts to the late William and Dorothy Callahan Rogers. Mrs. DiNino was a member of St. James The Apostle Church.
Mrs. DiNino is survived by her husband Joseph DiNino, Stockbridge; children, Joann (Rusty) DiNino-Steele, Joseph (Tia) DiNino, Jr., Julie DiNino, and D-rothy DiNino; grandchildren, Kylie, Braelyn, Haedyn, and Faith, all of McDonough,; sister, Ann Farley, Methuen, Massachusetts; and brother, Richie Rogers, Winchester, Massachusetts.

Dave Robertson
Dave Robertson, age 63, of McDonough, Georgia, died October 6, 2009. He was born
in Saint Louis, Missouri, to the late Harold Keith and Vivian Alice Robertson.
Mr. Robertson is survived by his wife, Kathy Robertson; son, Jon (Amy) Robertson, Athens; daughters, Ginger Robertson and Kelly (Casey) Colson, all of McDonough; siblings, Danny (Carol) Robertson, Lawrenceville, and Barbara (Ben) Martin, Woodstock, GA; grandchildren, Abigail, Jacob, Ashlie, Zachary, Murphy and Molly; nieces and nephews, and his 4-legged children, Sassy, Chloe, Daisy, Cinnamon, Mack and Kiki.

Gary Lee Wood
Gary Lee Wood, age 64, of Hampton, Georgia, died September 23, 2009. He was born
in Atlanta to the late Raymond and Margaret Wood. He is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Alexus Wood and brothers, Donny and Monroe Wood.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Rita Wood of Hampton; daughter, Regina Bryan of Stockbridge; sons, Raymond Wood of Hampton and Rocky Wood of Locust Grove; 4 grandchildren: Raychel Wood, Austin Wood, Devin Bryson and Daesia Wood.
Services were held September 28 at Jodeco Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Fleming officiating. R. T. Patterson Funeral Home, Lilburn.
Norma Hood Dickson
Norma Hood Dickson, age 74, of Greensboro, Georgia, died September 23, 2009. She was born
in McDonough to the late David and Minnie Hood. After marriage to Robert L. Dickson, Sr., she spent most of her life in Conyers. In 1989, the Dickson's moved to Lake Oconee. Later they moved to Greensboro. Mrs. Dickson was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Dickson, Sr.
Mrs. Dickson was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Greensboro, where she participated in the Circle and Senior Groups at church. She was involved in many disaster relief missions. Mrs. Dickson was also active in Habitat for Humanity. She loved gardening and recently began painting. She took many art lessons and enjoyed traveling. Mrs. Dickson was an avid bridge player. Mrs. Dickson will be remembered as a wonderful and caring mother and friend.
She is survived by her children, Kathy D. Adkins and Tommy of Alpharetta, Cynthia D. Henderson and Mike of Chesney, South Carolina, Bob Dickson and Stephanie of Madison and Kyle David Dickson of Greensboro; grandchildren Brett Adkins, Lacey Adkins, Lauren Henderson, Alex Dickson, Emily Dickson and Rachel Dickson; sisters, Mildred McKibben and Joella Almand; and nieces and nephews.
Services were held at the First United Methodist Church of Greensboro. Interment at Green-view Cemetery. A. E. Carter Funeral Home.
Sara Jane Banister Allen
Sara Jane Banister Allen, age 77, of Stockbridge, Georgia, died September 26, 2009. She was born
in East Point at Ft. Mc-Pherson to the late Ceree Banister. She graduated from Russell High School in 1950 and retired after many years from Ft. Mc-Pherson. Jane enjoyed researching her family genealogy, especially the history of the Shaddeau and Fichter families, as well as her husband's Henry County origins. She also enjoyed traveling with her church family. She was an avid "gamer" and enjoyed all kinds of board, card, and computer games. She at-tended Salem Baptist Church in McDonough, where she was active in Sunday school, Seniors group, and Vacation Bible School. She also did volunteer work with the Meals on Wheels program, and enjoyed regular luncheons with her “gal pals.” Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Alden Allen.
She is survived by her children, Billy Dean Allen, Calhoun, Patricia and Michael Knowles, Stockbridge, Andrew and Sheila Allen, Stockbridge, Peggy and Bob Caplan, Dunwoody, Pamela and Mark Hughes, Griffin, Terri and Ricky Bunn, McDonough, grandchildren, Erin, Kevin, and Nathan Allen, Molly, Shelly, and Lilly Caplan, Matthew, Joshua, and Jimmy Hughes, and Billy and Katie Jane Bunn; great-grandson, Hunter Hughes; sister-in-law, Muriel Allen, Fayetteville; and several close cousins.

Judy Kyzar
Judy Kyzar, age 64, of Stockbridge, Georgia. died September 28, 2009. She was born
in Summerville and lived in Stockbridge for many years. She was preceded in death by her father, John Baggett.
Ms. Kyzar is survived by her mother, Josephine Baggett, Rome; daughters, Pam (Greg) Lee, Stockbridge, and Christi (Jeff) Duncan, Locust Grove; son, John (Ashley) Kyzar, Lithia Springs; granddaughters, Tracee Lee, Kristen Lee, and Danielle Duncan; grandsons, Tyler Dun-can and Xander Kyzar; sister, Barbara Baker, Lindale; brother, Ed Baggett, Summerville; a host of nieces and nephews; and her longtime boyfriend, John Wood-yard.
