James Ras Spruill
Mr. James Ras Spruill, age 65, of Locust Grove, Georgia died December 11, 2006. Mr. Spruill was born December 13, 1940. He served his country in the U.S. Navy; retired after 30 years with Delta Airlines; and was of the Methodist faith. He was preceded in death by his father, Cephas Sentell Spruill; a son, Steve Spruill; a sister, Jackie Fouts; and brothers, Ronald and Butchie Spruill.
He is survived by his daughter, Lane Wages of Locust Grove; son, James Spruill, Jr. of Locust Grove; former wife, Helen Spruill of Locust Grove; mother, Emma Spruill of Conyers; brother, Aubrey Spruill of Griffin; sister, Carol Blalock of Lilburn; grandchildren, Ben Wages, Travis Wages, Adam Spruill and Michael Wages.
Services will be held Wednesday, December 13 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home, with Pastor David Riley officiating. Friends may visit the family thirty minutes prior to the service. Haisten Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

James Elliott Music
James Elliott Music, age 61, of McDonough, Georgia died November 27, 2006. Mr. Music was born March 1, 1945 in Jacksonville, Florida, the son of Lois Dorothy Pulling and James Timothy Music. He served his country in the National Guard during Vietnam; was a 1972 graduate of Florida State University; and had worked for over 29 years with Georgia Power/Southern Company. He coached AABC youth baseball and youth football and basketball for many years; enjoyed sporting events with his son; also enjoyed the mountains, traveling and attending car shows with his wife. He was very loving and respected by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Music of McDonough; son and daughter-in-law, Matt and Meredith Music of Annapolis, Maryland; parents, J.T. and Lois Music of Callahan, Florida; sister, Elizabeth Music of Jacksonville, Florida; brother and sister-in-law, Stuart and Darlene Music of Callahan, Florida; sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Woodrow Higginbotham of Callahan, Florida; and by his dearly beloved nieces and nephews.
Services were held December 2 at Wesley Way United Methodist Church, with Rev. John Purrington officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the American Heart Association, the Diabetes Foundation, or the charity of your choice in memory of Mr. Music. Haisten Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Adam Rodriguez
Adam Rodriguez, age 24, of McDonough, Georgia died December 1, 2006. Mr. Rod-riguez was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania , the son of Adan and Iris Rivera Rodriguez. He was a member of Iglesia Del Dios Viviente in McDonough. He was a hard worker, and enjoyed fishing, cooking and watching movies at home with his family. He was the number one customer for BlockBuster movie rentals. He was like a father to his brothers and to his mother he was a perfect son. He was a strong family man and a role model to his children.
He is survived by his wife, Ariannie Rodriquez; and children, Eliza Abigael Rodriguez,

Omar Rivera, Adam Nathaniel Rodriguez and Israel Rodriguez, all of McDonough; father, Adan Rodriguez of Philadelphia; mother, Iris Castillo of Interlachen, Florida; siblings, Maria Rodriguez of Bayamon, Puerto Rico, Katherine Castillo, Juan Rodriguez, and David Rodriguez, all of Interlachen, Florida, Gabriel Rodriguez, Eva Maria Rodriguez, Ashley Rodriguez, and Christopher Rodriguez, all of Puerto Rico; grandparents, Genoveva Rivera of Interlachen, Florida, Carmen Rodriguez and Jacobo Rodriguez, both of Fajardo, Puerto Rico.

Jack O. McBride
Jack O. McBride, age 82, of McDonough, Georgia died December 4, 2006. Mr. McBride was born in Columbus, the son of the late James E. and Georgia Lockhart McBride. He enjoyed traveling, but most important to him was his bluegrass music and his family.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Clara (Jimmie) McBride of McDonough; daughters, Lisa (Chris) Hale of McDonough, Iris (Tommy) Love of Blue Ridge; grandchildren, Tiffany Ham-brick of Locust Grove, Laura Hale of McDonough, Jeremy Love of Blue Ridge; great-grandchildren, Mia Hambrick and Alexis Love.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 6 in the chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors, with Rev. Dan McKay officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. Jewell Ballard Wilson
Jewell Ballard Wilson, age 92, of Stockbridge, Georgia died December 3, 2006. Mrs. Wilson was born in Griffin, the daughter of the late William Ambros and Clementine Brannan Ballard. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elias Jim Wilson.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Albert Ellerbee, Sylvia Tegge, Trellis Cropper, Mary Ellerbee, Bonnie Ballard, Bill Ballard, Tony Ballard, Hilda Ballard, Nina B. Ellis, and Patsy B. Deloach.

Winford Connell
Winford Connell, age 88, of McDonough, Georgia died November 18, 2006. Mr. Connell was born in Grady County, the son of the late Isaac Manley and Claudia Whigham Connell. He had a great respect and love for his country, having served in the Civilian Conservation Corps during the Depression and then the U.S. Navy during WWII. After a successful career with Liberty National Life Insurance Company, he retired as a District Manager from the Griffin office. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing and was happiest when he was on his tractor farming. But most important to him was family. He was a dedicated, loving husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Elizabeth E. Connell.
He is survived by his children, Lester (Marcia) Connell of Rome, Becky (Richard) Wallace of Williamson, Rodney Connell of McDonough, Claudia (Randy) Rowe of Smyrna; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.

Vickie Renee Sellers Clack
Vickie Renee Sellers Clack, age 44, of McDonough, Georgia died November 20, 2006. Ms. Clack was born November 13, 1962 in Fulton County. She graduated North Clayton High School in 1980; was of the Presbyterian faith; and enjoyed NASCAR and motorcycles. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Dyal Sellers in 2002; and a sister, Cheryl Jackson in 2001.
She is survived by her children, Jason Clack of Blue Ridge, Brittany Clack of Milledgeville, Courtney Clack of McDonough; mother and stepfather, Roslyn and Paul Van Leeuwen; and nephews.
Services were held November 22 in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Interment College Park Cemetery. Haisten Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

John Russell Cook
John Russell "Rusty" Cook, age 55, of Hampton, Georgia died November 21, 2006. Mr. Cook was born December 29, 1950 in Fulton County. He was the owner of Rusty’s Food and Spirits and he owned and operated J. Russell Service Company. He graduated from Walker High School Class of 1968, he was in the Little League Hall of Fame, and he enjoyed hunting, fishing and NASCAR. He was preceded in death by his father, James Raymond Cook in 1990.
He is survived by his wife, Katrina Cook of Hampton; children, Amy C. Wilkerson of Hampton, Jason and Jennifer Cook of Jackson, Craig Moses of McDonough, John Cook of Hampton; mother, Jane Cook of Hampton; brother, Thomas J. Cook and sister, Peggy Storey all of Hampton; grandchildren, Ashley, Dustin and Ansley Wilkerson, Jackson, Brady and Beau Cook and Mackenzy Moses.
Services were held November 24 in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home, with Rev. Russ Barker officiating. Interment Locust Grove Cemetery. Haisten Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Ken Riggle
Ken Riggle, age 79, of Stockbridge, Georgia died November 23, 2006. Mr. Riggle was born in Bloomfield, Indiana, the son of the late Elsworth and Mamie Flater Riggle. He was a former inn keeper with Holiday Inns in the Atlanta area. He was involved in his church and was an avid golfer. He was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Riggle; and a brother, Daney Riggle.
He is survived by his wife, Marlene Camden Riggle; children, Robert (Amber) Riggle of Stockbridge, Kenneth (K.C) Craig (Denise) Riggle of Laurel, Mississippi, Lisa (Marvin) Latta of Rex, John (Paula) Riggle of Griffin, Elizabeth Johnson of Stockbridge; 16 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Kay White of Indianapolis, Indiana; Alice Pearson and Wilma Strauser, both of Bloomfield, Indiana.
Services were held November 27 at Oak Park Church, with Pastor David Scott and Rev. Samuel Latta officiating. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery in Griffin. Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
