Mrs. Anne P. Bridges, 86, of Rabun Gap, formerly of Louisville, died Saturday, Sept. 25, 2004.
Mrs. Bridges was born April 1, 1918 to the late Edward and Annie Pennington. She was a retired school teacher in the Jefferson County School System for Louisville Academy. She was a member of Louisville First Baptist Church.
The funeral was Sept. 28 at 1 p.m. at Louisville First Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Montgomery officiating. Burial was in the Louisville City Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, M.O. Bridges Jr.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Penny and Pete Farrer, Rabun Gap; four sisters and their husbands, Marion Boyles, Atlanta, Murrell Mills, Macon, Betsy and Jim Lyday, Mentone, Ala., and Baby and Hugh Starling, Largo, Fla; one sister-in-law, Ruby Fair, Louisville; one brother-in-law and his wife, Otis and Mildred Bridges, High Springs, Fla.; two granddaughters and their husbands, Tamera and Kenneth Cash, Toccoa, and Michelle and Dale Williams, Buford; three great-grandchildren, Chan and Kenzie Cash and Jace Williams; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Ott Stephens, Alan Wasden, Tony Stavley, Tim Lumpkin, Ray Bryant, Edward Salter, Mike McDowell and Robert Clements.

Barbara Sheppard Hadden
Mrs. Barbara Sheppard Hadden, 66, of Gibson died Sunday, Sept. 26, 2004, at University Hospital in Augusta.
Mrs. Hadden, a native of Jefferson County, lived in Gibson most of her life. She was a member of the Gibson Church of God.
The funeral was Sept. 28 at 4 p.m. at Bethel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Steve Lamb officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Lester Hadden; two daughters, Darlene H. Williams and Angie H. Phillips and her husband Stanley, Gibson; one brother, James O. Sheppard and his wife, Betty, of Wrens; four grandchildren, Randy Williams, David Williams, Ryan Phillips and Tyler Phillips; and one great-grandson, Jason Lee Williams.
Pallbearers were Jim Sheppard, Kenneth Sheppard, Lane Hadden, Greg Kelley, James Atkins and Cecil Shelton.

Calvin Dan Williams Sr.
Mr. Calvin Dan Williams Sr., 66, of Conyers died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2004.
Mr. Williams, a native of Jefferson County, was a retired steel fabricator and the previous co-owner of Steel, Inc. in Scottsdale.
Funeral services will be Sept. 30 at 11 a.m. at Ward's Rockdale Chapel with the Rev. Felton Hardin officiating. Burial will be at Stapleton Baptist Church cemetery with the Rev. Bill Daniel officiating.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Williams; a daughter, Elizabeth Teresa and Stuart Trau, Conyers; two sons, Calvin Dan Williams Jr., Mableton, and Scott and Susan Williams, Avera; a brother, Don and Gail Williams, Conyers; a sister, Inez Daniel, Augusta; and three grandchildren, Cody Williams and Parker and Quinn Trau.

Carl W. "Curly" Albritton Jr.
Mr. Carl W. "Curly" Albritton Jr., 72, of Bartow died Friday, Sept. 10, 2004, at Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.
Mr. Albritton is a native of Tampa, Fla.
A memorial service will be held on Sept. 25 at 7 p.m. at the Steel Horsemen Motorcycle Club clubhouse, 1470 Tarver Grove Church Road in Bartow. Flowers and plants may be sent to the same address.
Survivors include his sons, Mug Albritton, Steve Albritton, David Albritton and Robert Albritton; his brothers, Doyle Albritton and William Albritton; a sister, Libby Lawhorn; five grandchildren, Dameian Albritton, Jennifer Albritton, Daniel Albritton, Corrie Albritton and Leisa Albritton; and two great-grandchildren, Kala Albritton and Shane Albritton.
Lee T. Bazemore
Mr. Lee T. Bazemore, 84, of Wrens died Friday, Sept. 17, 2004, at McDuffie Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Bazemore, a native of Screven County, was a resident of Jefferson County for over 40 years. He was a member of Wrens United Methodist Church. He was a salesman at Goldberg Furniture Store for over 15 years and then retired as owner of Bazemore Furniture Store. He is preceded in death by his son, Leland Ira Bazemore.
The funeral was Sept. 19 at 3 p.m. at James Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roy White officiating. Burial was in Wrens Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include his wife, Lezie Black Bazemore; three sons, Gary and his wife Iris Bazemore, Wrens, Glen and his wife Carole, Wrens, and Roger Bazemore, Gibson; a sister, Miriam Black, Sylvania; five grandchildren, Lisa Hadden, Jeff Bazemore, Daniel Bazemore, Jason Bazemore and Dennis Bazemore; eight great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Juanita Jackson Curry of Wadley died Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2004.
The funeral was Sept. 21 at 1 p.m. at Solomon Temple Baptist Church in Moxley with the Rev. Peter Sparks officiating. Burial was in Jones Chapel cemetery in Bartow.

Mrs. Marion K. Norton of Louisville died Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004, at Jefferson Hospital.
Mrs. Norton, a native of Jefferson County, was a member of First Baptist Church of Louisville. She is preceded in death by a son, Charles Brian Morgan Sr.
Graveside services were Sept. 21 at 11 a.m. at Hillcrest cemetery with the Rev. Pat Mahon officiating.
Survivors include one son, Larry Morgan, Louisville; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Geneva McNeal Dechau
Mrs. Geneva McNeal Dechau, 91, of Aiken, SC, died Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2004, at the Pepperhill Nursing Home.
Mrs. Dechau was born Oct. 14, 1912, to the late William McNeal and Leona Newsome McNeal. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Dechau. She was a homemaker and a member of the Midville Baptist Church.
Graveside services were Sept. 18 at 1 p.m. in the Louisville City cemetery with the Rev. Harold Cunningham officiating.
Survivors include a son, Edward Dechau Jr., Flower Branch; one brother, Fred McNeal, Augusta; one aunt, Thelma Satcher, Aiken, SC; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Marie Paradise Pervis
Mrs. Marie Paradise Pervis, 98, of Bartow died Monday, Sept. 20, 2004.
Mrs. Pervis was born July 21, 1906, to the late Thomase Paradise and the late Susie Smith. She was the wife of the late John Evans Pervis. She was also the oldest member and historian of Parker's United Methodist Church.
The funeral was Sept. 22 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Southern Heritage Funeral Home with the Rev. Griffin Thompson officiating. Burial was in the Parker's United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include two nieces, Margaret Beckum, Louisville, and Faye Cato, Durham, N.C.; two nephews, Jeff Pervis, Atlanta, and Lee Pervis, Tucker; and several great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews and great great great nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Betty Booker Allen, 69, of Wrens died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2004, at Medical College of Georgia.
Mrs. Allen, a native of Lincoln County, attended The Gospel Chapel in Avera.
The funeral was Sept. 10 at 3 p.m. at James Funeral Home Chapel with Curtis Thigpen and Sam Thorpe officiating.
Survivors include her husband, Warren Allen; three sons, Andy Allen and his wife Teresa, Stan Allen and Steve Allen and his wife Jodie; and five grandchildren, Heather, Blake, Stephen, Samuel and Joshua.

Millard L. "Andy" Anderson
Mr. Millard L. "Andy" Anderson, 79, of Wadley died Thursday, Sept. 9, 2004, at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.
Mr. Anderson, a native of Johnson County, lived in Wadley for the past 60 years. He was retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation with 34 years of service and a member of the St. John United Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by a son, Gary Anderson.
The funeral was Sept. 11 at 2 p.m. at St. John United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ray Garren and the Rev. Kenneth Watkins officiating. Burial was in the Wadley Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Betty L. Anderson, Wadley; two daughters, Betty Ann Anderson, Augusta, and Wanda A. Ford and her husband Bob, Sandersville; one son, Mark Anderson, Sugar Hill; a sister, Ouida Anderson, Wadley; four grandchildren, Brandon Green, Josh Ford, Lauren Anderson and Kyle Anderson, and one step-grandson, Jonothan Ford; and several nieces and nephews.

Helen Reid Clark
Mrs. Helen Reid Clark, 84, of Thomaston died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2004, at Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon.
Mrs. Clark, a native of Homerville, was a homemaker. She and her husband, the late James William Clark Jr. of Louisville, lived in Waynesboro most of their married
life where she was active in the First Methodist Church. She served as superintendent of the Primary Sunday School Department for 12 years and was president of the Women's Service Guild for several years. She was also a member of the Waynesboro Country Club and the United Daughters of the Confederacy. In 1991 she moved to Thomaston where she was active in the First United Methodist Church where she participated in Sunday School, the Service Class and the United Methodist Women.
Graveside services were Sept. 10 at 11 a.m. in Louisville City cemetery with the Rev. John Barnes officiating.
Survivors include a daughter, Helen Clark (Charles Winton) McDaniel, Thomaston; a son, William Gould (Sara M.) Bacon, Loganville; a sister, Mrs. W.H. (Marion) McCommons, Greensboro; three grandchildren, Mrs. Jane M. McMahon, Marietta, Mr. John Reid Bacon, Loganville, and Mr. William G. Bacon III, Denver, Colo.; four great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.
