Roger K. Lowry
Roger K. Lowry, age 61, of Stockbridge, Georgia died April 3, 2007. Mr. Lowry was born
in Indiana, the son of the late Clyde Ira and Evelyn Leona Heller Lowry. He attended Acts Church of Henry County; served his country in the U.S. Navy; and enjoyed antique cars, NASCAR, woodworking and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Brenda Glisson Lowry; children, Kristen Lowry, Keith and Suzan Lowry, Barbara and Dan Reinke; grandchildren, Cameron Lowry-Ward, Daniel, Brandon, and Christopher Reinke; sister, Lois Klein; brother, Donald and Rosie Lowry; several nieces and nephews.
Services were held April 6 in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home, with Pastor Sam Latta officiating. Please make contributions to the National Kidney Fund in memory of Mr. Lowry. Haisten Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Patricia Ann Goodman Fowler
Patricia Ann Goodman Fowler, age 66, of McDonough, Georgia, died March 24, 2007. She was born
in McDonough, the daughter of the late James Thomas and Bessie Lillian Mays Goodman. She retired from the Henry County School System, where she served as a paraprofessional in her early years of service, and as secretary at McDonough Primary School for a number of years prior to retiring in 2005. She was a devoted member of Salem Baptist Church, where she was very active in the Children's ministry. Her caring personality and willingness to mentor with a perfect balance of kindness and tough love made her a 'Nonnie' (grandmother) to thousands beyond her own family. She will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her brothers, JT Goodman, Harry Goodman, Earl Goodman, Billy Goodman, Charles Goodman; and sister, Charlotte Moseley.
She is survived by her loving husband, Wil Fowler; children, Mike (Cathe') Fowler, Jay (Jill) Fowler, Kristin (Danny) Fitzgerald; and siblings, Louise Bagby, and Steve Goodman, all of McDonough and Al Goodman of Big Canoe; and grandchildren; Stephen and McKenzie Fowler, Caroline and Ryan Fowler, and Anthony, Trevor and Joshua Fitzgerald, all of McDonough.
Services were held March 27 at Salem Baptist Church, with Rev. Dan McKay and Rev. Rick Statham officiating. Interment Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Salem Baptist Church, Recreation Fund, 1724 Hwy. 155, McDonough, Georgia, 30252. Harry Lowe
Harry “O” Lowe, age 31, of Stockbridge, Georgia died March 24, 2007. Mr. Lowe was born
in Riverdale. He was a happy-go-lucky kind of guy who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed late model dirt track racing, music, and collected many different items, most of all hats.
He is survived by his loving mother, Judy Lowe of Stock-bridge; father, Harry Thomas Lowe, Sr. of Memphis, Tennessee; sister, Christy (Rico Sanchez) Lowe of Douglasville; nephews, Nicholas Sanchez, and Gabriel Sanchez, both of Douglasville, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Deborah Nicole Rogers
Deborah Nicole "Nikki" Rogers, age 20, of Stockbridge, Georgia died March 24, 2007. She was born
April 23, 1986 in Stockbridge.
She is survived by her parents, David Rogers?of Winder, Kimberly Ann (David) Haney?of Stockbridge; grandparents, Wayne and Debbie Shepard of Stockbridge, Anita and Lamar Miller of Winder; sister, Jessica Stearns?of Stockbridge; brothers, Cody Thompson, Eddie (Missy) Shepard, and Charlie (Carmen) Shepard?of Stockbridge; special loved one, Chris Friel of Stockbridge; niece, Kayc Rogers; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins..

Jack John Kells
Jack John Kells, age 83, of Stockbridge, Georgia died March 25, 2007. Mr. Kells was born
in Covington, Kentucky. He retired from Consolidated Truck Lines as a truck driver. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He enjoyed cigars and giving to children.
He is survived by quite a few dear friends.

Pearl K. Robbins
Pearl K. Robbins, age 96, of Stockbridge, Georgia died March 26, 2007. Mrs. Robbins was born
in Buford, the dauughter of the late Lon Martin and Lena Jane Brown King. She was a charter member of the Audoban Forest United Methodist Church in Cascade Heights and later moved her membership to the Union United Methodist Church where she was an active member. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Louis Robbins.
She is survived by her son, Paul (Karen) Robbins of McDon-ough; grandsons, Michael Rainer, Chip Robbins, Jonathan Robbins, and Donnie Keene; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Alice Burr of Charlotte, North Carolina, Gladys Barrett of Powder Springs; several neices and nephews.
Services were held March 28 at Union United Methodist Church Cemetery, with Rev. James Hood officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Union United Methodist Church in her memory. Louise Morris Moore
Louise Morris Moore, age 93, of McDonough, Georgia, formerly of Hampton, died March 27, 2007. Mrs. Moore was born
in Henry County, the daughter of the late Frances Morgan and Roscoe Morris. She was a long time member of Hampton First Baptist Church; and was retired from Gulton Industries (formerly Southern States). She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh B. Moore; brothers, Walter Morris, Harold Morris, William David Morris; and sister, Lorene Morris Greer.
She is survived by her sister, Grace Morris Bright of McDonough; and her nieces and nephews.
Services were held March 29 in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home, with Rev. Buddy Perstrope officiating. Interment McDonough City Cemetery. Thomas Neil Compton
Thomas Neil Compton, age 76, of McDonough, Georgia died March 27, 2007. He was born
in Atlanta, GA to the late Thomas Elbert and Helen Aurora Watts Compton. Mr. Compton was owner/operator of Compton Automotive Parts Inc. for 41 years in Jonesboro and his business was known by many as a "gathering place" for Jonesboro locals. He taught Sunday School at Morrow United Methodist Church, was a 50 year member of the Jonesboro Masonic Lodge #87 F&AM, and was an avid woodworker and gardener. But above all, he was a loving family man.
He is survived by his wife, Wansley Katherine Compton?of McDonough; children, Karon Mitchell of Marietta, Patti Delk of McDonough, Joseph Compton of Jonesboro, Jan Wiggins and Gregory Compton, both of McDonough; grandchildren, Joshua Wiggins, Keri Wiggins, Jesse Delk, Brian Compton, Kati Compton; and great-grandson, Tyler Delk.
Services were held March 30 in the chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors, with Rev. Floyd Carmack officiating. Inter-ment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Barbara Jean Carter Sweatman
Barbara Jean Carter Sweatman, age 71, of McDonough, Georgia died March 27, 2007. She was born
in 1935 in Fulton County, the daughter of the late Melvin Tolbert and Felice Eugena Foot Carter. She was retired after 25 years with the State of Georgia; enjoyed her grandchildren and playing bingo.
She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Charles and Lydia Sweatman of McDonough, Bobby Sweatman of Stockbridge; grandchildren, Doug Sweatman, Christina Armstrong, Kimberly Reece, Amanda Wallace, Lindsey Sweatman; and six great-grandchildren.
Services were held March 28 in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home, with Rev. Doug Gilreath officiating. Haisten Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
