Frances Jarrett Lewis
Mrs. Frances Jarrett Lewis, age 92 of Jacksonville, Florida, formerly of Hampton, Georgia died November 2, 2009. She was born
in Stockbridge to the late Tom and Laura Jarrett. A former employee of Southern States, she spent most of her life in Hampton. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Auston Lewis. Her greatest love was her family.
Survivors include her brother, Ralph Jarrett of Monticello; children, Nan Holder of Alpharetta, Laura Hamil of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida and Ronnie Lewis of Waverly; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted November 4 from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home, Rev. John Greer and Rev. John Dawson officiating. Interment at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery

Jim Neri
Jim Neri, age 49, of Stock-bridge, Georgia, passed away November 7, 2009. Mr. Neri served in the U.S. Marine Corps 2nd A.N.G.L.I.C.O. unit from 1978 to 1984. He was employed at Suntrust Bank for 28 years, and was the owner of Mt. Zion Child Care Center in Jonesboro. He attended Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.
Mr. Neri is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Neri of Stock-bridge; daughter, Amanda Neri of Stockbridge; son, Jake Neri of Stockbridge; father, Stan Neri of Largo, Florida; mother, Vivienne Holmes of Jacksonville, Florida; 2 sisters and 2 brothers and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 11, at Ward’s Fairview Chapel with Pastor Irv Ryder officiating. Entombment service at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens in Snellville, with military honors. Marie Cuccio Guillot
Marie Cuccio Guillot, age 86, of Stockbridge, Georgia, died October 16, 2009. She was predeceased by her parents Michael Cuccio and Rosalie Foti Cussio. She was completely devoted to her husband of 64 years, the late Walter J. Guillot, until his death in April of 2009.
She was the loving mother of Lynette Roberts, Walter J. Guillot Jr., Donna G. Willoz, Kristie G. Harrod, the late Sandra Wilmot and Aleen Guillot, and mother-in-law of Judy Guillot, David Willoz and Grant Harrod. She is also the adoring grandmother of 12 and great-grandmother of 18. Godmother to Susan Cuccio Duhon. Sister of Yvonne Ordez, Raymond Cuccio, Rosalie Holmes, and the late Michael Cuccio Jr. and Gloria Conforto.
A private memorial service was held on October 19 at Carestone in Jonesboro. A Funeral Mass was held October 21 at St. Dominic Catholic Church in New Orleans, Louisiana. Ellen Patterson
Ellen Patterson, age 75, of Riverdale, Georgia, died October 21, 2009. She was born
in Germany to the late Berndhart and Henrietta Tessman Brandt. Mrs. Patterson was a member of Salem Baptist Church. She liked to oil paint, spend time with her children and grandchildren, and listen to gospel music.
Mrs. Patterson is survived by her husband, Sidney Patterson; daughters, Renee Graham, Jonesboro, Patty Sanders, McDonough, and Gina Roth, East Point; three grandchildren, Katie Graham, Morgan Sanders, and Savanna Sanders.
Funeral services were held October 24 at Salem Baptist Church, with Rev. Rick Statham officiating. Interment at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors.
Betty Jane Coker Barbour
Betty Jane Coker Barbour, age 82, of Hampton, Georgia, died October 21, 2009. Mrs. Barbour was born
in Henry County to the late Mary Lucy Moore and William Clarence Coker. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane Wahsh. Mrs. Barbour was a devoted homemaker who enjoyed flower gardening and was an avid Braves fan.
Survivors are her children, Maxine Crump of Hull, Mary Jane (Victor) Kirkland of Hampton, Jean (Stephen) Hinton of Covington, Jack Tschudy, Jr. of Tacoma, Washington , and Geri Denise Endrias of Mount Dora, Florida; 15 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Charlene McWaters of Locust Grove; niece and nephew.

Doyle E. Patrick
Doyle E. Patrick, age 84, of McDonough, Georgia, died October 21, 2009. Mr. Patrick was born
in Butts County, the son of the late Ruby Maddox and Ray Patrick. Mr. Patrick was self- employed. He owned and operated Patrick Dry Cleaners and Hampton House Restaurant in McDonough. He served his country in the U. S. Navy, was a member of Bethany Baptist Church, and enjoyed getting out on the farm with his cows. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Alexander Patrick, in April 2009, grandson, Ryan Pa-trick, brother, Ray Patrick; sisters, Rachel Watson and Ida Mae Taylor.
Survivors are his son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Mary Patrick of Monticello; daughter, Dr. Linda Patrick of Decatur; granddaughter, Dr. Tara Patrick Garrison and her husband, Micah of Gainesville; great grandson, Andrew Garrison of Gainesville; sisters, Nellie Thompson of McDonough and Elizabeth Austin of Hampton; brother, James Patrick of Hampton; numerous nieces and nephews.

Jewel Norsworthy Pendley
Jewel Norsworthy Pendley, age 95, of McDonough, Georgia, formerly of Hampton, died October 22, 2009. Mrs. Pendley was born
in Butts County, the daughter of the late Clyde Alberta McClure and Leary Lawrence Norsworthy. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Cox Pendley; son, William Leary (Billy) Pendley; daughter, Myra Pendley Strickland; and several siblings. She was a member of Berea Christian Church in Hampton. Mrs. Pendley was a devoted homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, reading the newspaper, cooking, gardening and playing bingo.
Survivors are her daughters, Mildred Brewer of Atlanta, and Katherine Lewis and husband Ronnie of Waverly; siblings, Horace Norsworthy of McDonough, Esther Brannan of Stock-bridge, Lester Norsworthy of McDonough, Lorene Hardy of Jackson, and Leary Cheney of Marietta; 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
