Mr. George V. Haygood, 40, of Senoia died Sept. 30, 1997.

Memorial services will be held Oct. 4 at 2 p.m. at Tri-County Baptist Church in Senoia.

Survivors include his son, Jason Haygood; parents, Mr. and Mrs. George V. Haygood Sr. of Senoia, Mary McGuire of Atlanta; sisters, Patricia Faulk of Jacksonville, Fla., Judy Alexander of Senoia, Jeannie Haines of Toccoa; brothers, Curtis Haygood, Allen Haygood, Kenny Pyke, all of Senoia; nieces and nephews.

Mr. David Wesley Lewellyn

Mr. David Wesley Lewellyn, 53, of Mableton died Sept. 29, 1997 in Mableton.

Born April 14, 1944 in Charleston, S.C., Mr. Lewellyn was the son of the late Charles Wesley Lewellyn and Wilda (Moody) Lewellyn. He was a hospital consultant and a member of the Episcopalian faith.

Graveside services will be held today at 2 p.m. at Oak Hill cemetery with Dr. Joel Richardson officiating.

Survivors include his wife, Nann A. (Arnold) Lewellyn of Mableton; daughters, Toni Lewellyn Franklin of Loganville, Kim Lewellyn Haley of Greenfield, Ind.; grandchildren, Britney Haley, Devin Haley, both of Greenfield; mother-in-law, Irene Arnold of Newnan; sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Kirk of Newnan; a brother and three sisters.

Mrs. Emma Bonner Render

Mrs. Emma Bonner Render, 56, of Cedar Creek Road in Newnan passed away Sept. 21, 1997, at Columbia Peachtree Regional Hospital.

Born June 22, 1941, Mrs. Render was a graduate of Central High School and a member of Friendship Baptist Church, where she served on the usher board.

Funeral services will be held Oct. 3 at 1 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church with the Rev. Felton James officiating, assisted by the Rev. R.W. Sutton. Interment will follow at Macedonia Baptist Church cemetery with her nephews serving as pallbearers.

Survivors include her husband, John C. Render Sr.; sons, Mr. and Mrs. John C. (Violy) Render Jr. of Okinawa, Japan, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Stephen (Pakeela) Render, Christopher Brian Render, all of Newnan; grandchildren, Calvin Render, Jasmine Render of Okinawa, Tisha Render of Newnan; brothers, Tony Bonner, Mr. and Mrs. James Edward (Mary) Bonner of Newnan; mother-in-law, Dorothy Render of Newnan; sisters-in-law, Olivia Bohannon of Philadelphia, Gertrude Melson of Cleveland, Ohio, Mary Tolliver of Milwaukee, Wis.; brothers-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Willie (Shirley) Render, Mr. and Mrs. Leroy (Louise) Hill of Newnan, Robert B. Render of Dayton, Ohio; step-sisters, Sharon Nalls of Newnan, Thelma Waddler, Selena Dixon, both of New York, Elaine Brown, Melvis Freeman of Charlotte, N.C.; step-brothers, Donald Freeman, Eugene Freeman, both of Newnan, Lenelle Freeman of New York; nieces and nephews.

Mr. Bobby M. Brown

Mr. Bobby M. Brown, 68, of Emmett Young Road in Newnan died Sept. 23, 1997 at Newnan Hospital.

Born Aug. 26, 1929 in Newnan, Mr. Brown was the son of the late Willie Bob Brown. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, he was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and a security guard of 13 years with the Coweta County Correctional Institution.

Mr. Brown had worked for Al Dykes Pontiac-Cadillac and Stanford and Brown.

Funeral services were held Sept. 25 at Corinth United Methodist Church with the Rev. Billy Burks officiating, assisted by the Rev. Charles Ritter. Interment followed at the church cemetery with Terry Helton, Garry Barronton, John Sibley, Jim Scogin, Kevin Rainwater, Bill Cawthorne, Jerry Conner and Norris Rhodes serving as pallbearers.

Law enforcement officers served as honorary pallbearers.

Survivors include his wife, Wretha (Amerson) Brown of Newnan; mother, Jessie (Robinson) Brown of Newnan; daughter and son-in-law, Lenn and Theresa Wood of Newnan; son, Tony Brown of Newnan; son and daughter-in-law, Nat and Angie Brown of Newnan; sister and brother-in-law, Harold and Sara Ham of Newnan; step-daughters, Shirley Arrington of Newnan, Tammy Bearden of Bremen; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Rosalyn Brown McKoy, 89, of Woodbine Drive in Newnan died Oct. 2, 1997, at Beaulieu Convalescent Center.

Born Oct. 28, 1997 in Newnan, Mrs. McKoy was the daughter of the late Joseph P. Brown and Rosa (Askew) Brown and the widow of Herbert A. McKoy. She was a 1928 graduate of Shorter College and taught school in Grantville and Newnan.

Mrs. McKoy was a civic volunteer and a member of Central Baptist Church in Newnan.

Funeral services will be held Oct. 4 (today) at McKoon Funeral Home with Dr. Joel Richardson officiating. Interment fill follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Rosalyn and David Boyd of Newnan; son and daughter-in-law, Herbert and Caroline McKoy of Atlanta; sister, Vivian Huguley of LaFayette, Ala.; and grandchildren, Katherine McKoy of Atlanta, Herbert A. McKoy III of Durham, N.C., Elizabeth McKoy, David Boyd Jr., Rosalyn Moore Boyd and Bonnie Boyd, all of Newnan.

Born Aug. 31, 1904 in Newnan, Mrs. Smith was the daughter of the late Alton and Annie (Austin) Smith. She was a retired insurance clerk and a member of Elim Baptist Church.

Graveside services will be held Oct. 4 (today) at 2 p.m. at Oak Hill cemetery with the Rev. Glenn Dow officiating.

Survivors include her sisters, Jimmie Storey, Ellen Johnson, Sarah Smith, all of Newnan; nieces, Susan Milam of Macon, Mary Ellen Strickland of Fayetteville; great-nephews, Dr. Mallory "Chip" Milam of Boston, Mass., Shane Milam of Macon; great-niece, Elizabeth Milam of Macon; and sister-in-law, Ethelyn Smith of Lavonia.

Mrs. Edna B. Dennis, 79, of Lake Circle in Newnan died Oct. 3, 1997, at Beaulieu Convalescent Center.

Born April 7, 1918 in Coffee County, Ala., Mrs. Dennis was the daughter of the late William and Susie (Breedlove) Brannon and the wife of the late Ivey Dennis. She was a retired textile reel operator with the Bibb Co. and a member of the Baptist faith.

Graveside services will be held Oct. 6 (tomorrow) at 3 p.m. at Oak Hill cemetery with the Rev. David Arrington officiating.

Survivors include her daughters, Elaine Butts of Newnan, Jean Skinner of Opelika, Ala.; sons, Paul Dennis of Smith, Ala., Ivey Wayne Dennis of Raleigh, N.C.; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Mr. Willie Lee Hall, 40, of Howard Hughes Road in Newnan passed away Sept. 28, 1997, at Hospice LaGrange in LaGrange.

Born Jan. 24, 1957 in Coweta County, Mr. Hall was the son of the late Inola Warner Hall. He was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Warner.

Funeral services were held Oct. 4 at Sellers-Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. R.W. Sutton officiating, assisted by the Rev. Johnny Strickland. Interment followed at Mount Calvary cemetery in Moreland with Michael O. Hall, Cedric D. Hall, Jeffery Smith, Rogers Lowe, Bruce Hall and Freddie Burrough serving as pallbearers.

Survivors include his father, Willie A. Hall; sisters, Beverlyn, Brenda, Etta Hall, all of Newnan, Mr. and Mrs. Lamar (Gwendolyn) Arnold of Chattanooga, Tenn., Mr. and Mrs. Jeffery (Debra) Smith of Newnan; brother, Bruce Hall of Newnan; uncles; aunts; nieces and nephews.

Mr. Scott T. Cooper

Mr. Scott T. Cooper, 34, of Sharpsburg, Ga., passed away suddenly in Atlanta, Ga., Oct. 1, 1997.

Survivors include his wife, Carol Cutting Cooper; children, Jamie, age 7, Joshua, age 5; parents, Thomas and Nancy Cooper of Jackson, Michigan; brothers, David, Brian (and wife Judy), Jonathan (and wife Melissa) and Joel (and wife Susan); and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at the chapel of Wetherby Funeral Home, in Jackson, Michigan, the afternoon of Oct. 6. Interment was in Hillcrest Memorial Park. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
