MR. THOMAS RICK PERKINS
Mr. Thomas Rick Perkins, 42, of Bremen died June 18, 1997 following an auto accident.
A member of Beulah Baptist Church, Mr. Perkins was an instructor in the commercial driving program at Carroll Technical Institute. A former truck driver, he received the State Commissioner's Award of Excellence and was named the 1996 Instructor of the Year by Georgia's technical and adult education system.
Mr. Perkins was chairman of the Georgia Motor Trucking Association.
Funeral services were held June 20 at Tabernacle Baptist Church with the Rev. Herbert Cole and the Rev. Billy Vines officiating. Interment followed at Beulah Baptist Church cemetery with Donnie Lively, Dr. Stephen Richie, Robert Richie, Scott Posey, David Nails, Bruce Hurckmans and Harry Ream serving as pallbearers.
An honorary escort was provided by the Georgia Motor Trucking Association.
Survivors include his wife, Ruthie Jane Nails Perkins of Bremen; sons, Doug Perkins, Daniel Perkins of Carrollton; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Perkins of Carrollton; and brother, Bob Perkins of Carrollton.

Mr. Tony West of Newnan died June 13, 1997.

Mr. Earnest Woods of Murray Street in Newnan passed away June 13, 1997 at Newnan Hospital.
Born Jan. 22, 1942, Mr. Woods was the son of the late Andy Woods. He was a member of the Baptist faith.

MR. BILL YEARWOOD
Mr. Bill Yearwood, 73, of Leigh Avenue in Newnan died June 18, 1997 in Turner County.
Born April 20, 1924 in Crawfordville, Mr. Yearwood was the son of the late George W. Yearwood Sr. and Mary Dean Yearwood. He was a member of the Baptist faith and a driver for Noles Trucking Company.
Funeral services were held June 20 at Hillcrest Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Travis Eidson officiating. Interment followed at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Harold Burks, Audie Burks, Ronald Dean, Chad Dunn, Danny Eskew and Mark Eskew serving as pallbearers.

Mrs. Frances Denney Beall, 69, of Marietta and a former resident of Hogansville died June 15, 1997 at I.H.S. Shoreham Convalescent Center in Marietta.
Born April 14, 1928 in Heard County, Mrs. Beall was the daughter of the late Chester and Eley Denney. She was a retired supervisor from McFarland Corporation in Marietta and a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Hogansville.
Funeral services were held June 17 at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home with Dr. Jimmy Brown and the Rev. Marty Few officiating. Interment followed at at Myrtle Hill cemetery in Hogansville.
Survivors include her husband, Dorsey Beall of Marietta; daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Mike McClure of Cumming; brother, Jerry Denney of Jonesboro; and granddaughter, Jennifer McClure of Cumming.

Mr. Jimmy Cofield, 52, of Newnan died June 15, 1997.
Originally from Upson County, Mr. Cofield was retired from Ford Motor Company in Hapeville.

Mr. G.B. Daniels, 61, of Atlanta passed away June 10, 1997 at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta.
Born May 16, 1936 in Coweta County, Mr. Daniels was a member of St. John Baptist Church.
