Mrs. Lula Belle Martin, 71, of Fairburn died Aug. 7, 1997.
Funeral services were held Aug. 9 at Parrott Funeral Home in Fairburn with the Rev. Donald Calhoun officiating. Interment followed at Holly Hill Memorial Park in Fairburn.
Survivors include her husband, J.C. MRS. EVELYN WADDELL
Mrs. Evelyn Waddell, 78, of Hawthorne Drive in Newnan died Aug. 1, 1997 at Newnan Hospital.
Born Oct. 7, 1918 in Newnan, Mrs. Waddell was the daughter of the late James Elbert Wood Sr. and Viola Iown Webb Wood. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Newnan and a retired supervisor at Playtex Corp.
Funeral services were held Aug. 3 at Hillcrest Chapel Funeral Home with Dr. O. Eugene Tyre officiating. Interment followed at Oak Hill cemetery with Larry Cook, Kenneth Cook, Tommy Wood, Glenn Wood, James Wood, Kevin Cook, Chris Cook, Jason Cook and Bill Davis serving as pallbearers.
Survivors include her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. John (Sonya) Moore of Newnan; grandson, Michael Moore of Newnan; sisters, Vivian Hunter of Senoia, Corrine Wallace of Newnan; brothers, T.J. Wood of LaGrange, Murlyn Wood of Conyers; nieces and nephews.

MRS. MARION WINTER
Mrs. Marion (Jitt) Winter, 56, of Hogansville, died Aug. 10, 1997 at her home.
Born April 7, 1941, in LaGrange, daughter of the late Albert and Winnie Hunt Morris, she was a lifelong resident of the Hogansville area and was a member of Welcome All Baptist Church in Hogansville.
Funeral services were held Aug. 12 at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Rev. Paul Stitcher officiated, and interment was in Myrtle Hill cemetery in Hogansville.
Survivors include her husband, Paul E. Mrs. Erbis W. Benefield, 84, of Hogansville died Aug. 5, 1997 at Dogwood Health and Rehabilitation Center in Fairburn.
Born Feb. 19, 1913 in Randolph County, Ala., Mrs. Benefield was the daughter of the late Olvie and Evie Stephens Whitley. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and was retired from Uniroyal Inc.
Funeral services were held Aug. 6 at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Eley and the Rev. Marty Few officiating. Interment followed at Shadowlawn cemetery in LaGrange with Gaylon Caldwell, Edward Caldwell, Larry Pitts, Wayne Yarbrough, Paul Yarbrough and W.C. Yarbrough serving as pallbearers.

Mrs. Ann R. Brown, 65, of Fourth Street in Newnan died Aug. 4, 1997 in Newnan.
Born Jan. 5, 1932 in Newnan, Mrs. Brown was the daughter of the late Charlie Robison and Dollie (Wortham) Robison. She was a retired cashier from Kroger and a member of the Baptist faith.
Funeral services were held Aug. 5 with the Rev. Gary Parrish officiating, assisted by the Rev. Don Helms. Interment followed at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Jeff Pope, Robby Flanagan, Greg Ashley, Joe Haines, Alan Robison and Kirby Brown serving as pallbearers.

Mrs. Martha Millians Clark, 80, of Newnan died Aug. 1, 1997 at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton.
Born Dec. 11, 1916 in Newnan, Mrs. Clark was the daughter of the late Jim and Lena (Luckie) Millians and the widow of Woodrow Clark. She was a member of Newnan Presbyterian Church and was a homemaker.
Funeral services were held Aug. 3 at McKoon Funeral Home with Dr. Harry Barrow officiating, assisted by Clay Henry. Interment followed at Oak Hill cemetery with Sam Millians, Steve Millians, Shane Proffit, Rick Chambers, Michael Chambers and Jody Clark serving as pallbearers.

MR. ROY LEE COGGIN SR.
Mr. Roy Lee Coggin Sr., 88, of Providence Church Road in Newnan died Aug. 2, 1997 at Newnan Hospital.
Born Feb. 21, 1909 in Coweta County, Mr. Coggin was the son of the late O.M. Coggin and Luella Story. He was retired from the City of Newnan.
Mr. Coggin was a member of Sylvan Masonic Lodge #429.
Graveside services were held Aug. 4, 1997 at Oak Hill cemetery with the Rev. Harry Hollman officiating, assisted by Dr. Harry Barrow and the Rev. Jimmy Fleming.
Survivors include his wife, Vera Coggin of Newnan; sons, Robert W. and Millie Coggin, Joseph G. Coggin, Roy Lee and Annette Coggin Jr., all of Newnan; sister, Mable Hall of Newnan; sister-in-law, Eula Coggin of Newnan; brother, George "Asa" Coggin of Newnan; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Luther Dansby, 73, of Johnson Avenue in Newnan passed away Aug. 4, 1997 at Vencour Hospital in Atlanta.
Born May 19, 1924 in Coweta County, Mr. Dansby was a member of Summer Hill Baptist Church in Moreland.
Funeral services were held Aug. 7 at Summer Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. J.T. Coleman officiating, assisted by the Rev. Melvin Brittian Jr. Interment followed at the church cemetery with Alton Taylor Jr., Edward Hunter, James Hill, Larry Blackmon, Harry Dollar and Reginald Thornton serving as pallbearers.
Survivors include his uncle, George Reid of Sharpsburg; and cousins, Doris Jackson, J.T. Jackson, Mr. and Mrs. Ivey (Shirley) Brittian, and Margaret Means.

MR. BOYD DOMINICK
Mr. Boyd Dominick, 64, died July 2, 1997 at Simpson General Hospital in Menderhall, Miss.
Born May 31, 1933 in Newnan, Mr. Dominick was the son of the late David Paul and Ruth Dominick of Newnan. He was retired from ATT Technology as an equipment installer and was a member of Crossgates Baptist Church.
A third-degree Mason, Mr. Dominick was a member of James A. Myers Lodge and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean conflict.
Funeral services were held Aug. 4 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl, Miss. with interment following at Rock Bluff cemetery in Puckett, Miss.
Survivors include his wife, Patsy; sons, Jason Dominick, Boyd Ray Dominick, both of Brandon; brothers, Henry Dominick of Newnan, David Dominick of Warner Robins; sister, Mable Spencer of Panama City, Fla. and five grandchildren.

Mr. Samuel Lewis Hines of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away Aug. 5, 1997. Funeral arrangements will be announced later by Sellers-Smith Funeral Home.
MR. CHARLES DEAN JEFFRIES
Mr. Charles Dean Jeffries, 87, of Rome died Aug. 6, 1997 at his home.
Born June 9, 1910 in Rome, Mr. Jeffries was the son of the late Joseph Henry Jeffries and Mabel Dean Jeffries. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joe Nadine (Huling) Jeffries.
Mr. Jeffries was a deacon of Pisgah Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army Air Corp. veteran of World War Two.
Mr. Jeffries was a retired chemical analyst from Celanese Corporation.
Funeral services were held Aug. 9 (today) at Pisgah Baptist Church with the Rev. Dale Fincher and the Rev. Dan Boswell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Jim Roberson, Thomas Holder, Joel Reid, Alan Bowles, B.R. Perry and P.A. Postell serving as pallbearers.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Jon D. and Pam B. Jeffries of Rome; daughter and son-in-law, Alice J. and J. Olley Keel of Douglasville and four grandchildren.
