Mrs. Diana Lesch Bauer, 48, formerly of Newnan died Aug. 9, 1997 in North Carolina.
Mrs. Bauer was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Lesch. She graduated from Valley High School in Minneapolis, Minn. and Carelton College in Northfield, Minn.
Memorial services will be held Aug. 15 at Hossana Lutheran Church in Lakeville, Minn.
Survivors include Dr. William Bauer of Newnan; mother, Cleo Lesch; sister, Cheryl Svendsen; nephew, Tom LeBlanc; and niece, Michelle LeBlanc.
MRS. EULA H. BENFORD
Mrs. Eula H. Benford, 80, of Hogansville died Aug. 9, 1997 at the Brian Center of Nursing Care in LaGrange.
Born Sept. 21, 1916 in Randolph County, Ala., Mrs. Benford was the daughter of the late Howard and Izula Browning Horton. She was retired from Uniroyal Inc.
Graveside services were held Aug. 10 at Myrtle Hill cemetery in Hogansville with Dr., Jimmy Brown officiating.
Survivors include his sister, Mary Batchelor of Jacksonville, Fla.; nieces and nephews.

Mr. Roderick Bonner of Newnan passed away Aug. 10, 1997 following an automobile accident. Funeral services will be announced later by Sellers-Smith Funeral Home.

MR. ROY LEE COGGIN SR.
Mr. Roy Lee Coggin Sr., 88, of Providence Church Road in Newnan died Aug. 2, 1997 at Newnan Hospital.
Born Feb. 21, 1909 in Coweta County, Mr. Coggin was the son of the late O.M. Coggin and Luella Story. He was retired from the City of Newnan.
Mr. Coggin was a member of Sylvan Masonic Lodge #429.
Graveside services were held Aug. 4, 1997 at Oak Hill cemetery with the Rev. Harry Hollman officiating, assisted by Dr. Harry Barrow and the Rev. Jimmy Fleming.
Survivors include his wife, Vera Coggin of Newnan; sons, Robert W. and Millie Coggin, Joseph G. Coggin, Roy Lee and Annette Coggin Jr., all of Newnan; daughter, Darlene Hopson of Newnan;sister, Mable Hall of Newnan; sister-in-law, Eula Coggin of Newnan; brother, George "Asa" and Sara Ruth Coggin of Newnan; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Vera Davis Couch, 95, of Oak Grove Church Road in Carrollton died Aug. 8, 1997 at Carrollton Manor.
Born Aug. 19, 1901 in Fayette County, Mrs. Couch was the daughter of the late Jodie E. Davis and Addie (Knowles) Davis and the widow of John Otis Couch. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Temple in Dallas, Texas.
Funeral services were held Aug. 10 at McKoon Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom Shannon officiating. Interment followed at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include her daughter, Florene McDonald of Carrollton; son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Kedric (Patricia) Couch of Dallas, Texas; son-in-law, Marvin E. Horsley of Carrollton; sister, Evie Kate Kerlin of Winston; grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Mr. Marvin Forbus, 71, of Old Corinth Road in Newnan died Aug. 7, 1997 at Newnan Hospital.
Born Aug. 18, 1925 in Coweta County, Mr. Forbus was retired from the William L Bonnell Co.
Funeral services were held Aug. 9 at at Miracle Tabernacle with the Rev. Richard Clay and the Rev. Milton Winslett officiating. Interment followed at Oak Hill cemetery with Ricky Lowe, Wally Batchelor, Bud Strickland, John Wood, Jeff Wood, and Billy Robinson serving as pallbearers.
Survivors include his wife, Christine Nix Forbus of Newnan; daughter, Janice Callahan of Newnan; sisters, Frances Duvall of Rome, Josephine Lynch of Douglasville; brother, Charlie Melson Forbus Jr. of Temple; two grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

MR. SAMUEL LEWIS HINES
Mr. Samuel Lewis Hines of Cincinnati, Ohio, formerly of Grantville, passed away Aug. 5, 1997 in Ohio.
He was born Sept. 9, 1936 to the late Sam Hines and Mattie Mae Hines. He married
Jenette Mitchell Dec. 24, 1954.
Funeral services were held Aug. 9 at Macedonia Baptist Church in Grantville with the Rev. Clinton Melson officiating, assisted by the Rev. Joseph Hines. Interment followed in the church cemetery with his nephews serving as casketbearers.
Survivors include children, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Davis (Sandra Faye) Hines of Colorado Springs; Mr. and Mrs. James (Gladys) Stikner, Sheryl Maxberry, Mattie Hines, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis (Elizabeth) Hines, Mr. and Mrs. Nathaniel (Patricia) Stiggers, all of Cincinnati; sisters, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie (Lydia) Matthews, Jr. of Grantville; Mr. and Mrs. Otis (Juanita) Beasley of Luthersville, Mr. and Mrs. Willie (Mattie P.) MRS. MARGARET HOLLIS
Mrs. Margaret Hollis, 87, of Athens died Aug. 9, 1997 in Athens.
Born Jan. 15, 1910 in Newnan, Mrs. Hollis was the daughter of the late Thomas Berry McRitchie and Annie E. (Askew) McRitchie and the widow of Howell Hollis.
Mrs. Hollis attended local public schools and Brenau College, where she was a member of the Phi Mu Sorority. She was a member of St. James United Methodist Church in Athens and a member of the Junior Ladies Garden Club.
Graveside services were held Aug. 12 at Oak Hill cemetery with the Rev. Gary Parrish officiating.
Survivors include her sisters-in-law, Mrs. Jeff Hollis of Peachtree City, Mrs. William McRitchie of Phoenix. Ariz.; and nephew, Edgar Hollis of Newnan.

Born Dec. 18, 1916 in Sewickley, Penn., Mrs. Hunt was a homemaker.

MR. ROSWELL W. LEE
Mr. Roswell W. Lee, 74, of Lone Oak died Aug. 9, 1997 at West Georgia Regional Medical Center in LaGrange.
Born Dec. 4, 1922 in Lone Oak, Mr. Lee was the son of the late William P. Lee and Annie Wise Lee. He was a retired farmer and a member of Allen-Lee memorial United Methodist Church.
Mr. Lee was a U.S. Army veteran of Word War Two and received the Purple Heart, the Bronze Star and five Battle Stars.
Funeral services were held Aug. 11 at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Karl Hunter officiating. Interment followed at the Allen-Lee Memorial United Methodist Church cemetery with Pat Quigley, John Williams, William Johnson, Mark Kitchens, Chris Bartlett and Ken Gordon serving as pallbearers.
Survivors include his wife, Rose Hardaway Lee of Lone Oak; son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph R. (Sondra) Lee of Hogansville; sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Pete (Ann) Johnson of Lone Oak; sister-in-law, Charlotte Lee of Luthersville; grandchildren, Alyson Lee, Stuart Lee, both of Hogansville; nieces and nephews.
