Willie Henry “Mr. Bill” Harris, 60, passed away Friday, May 28, 2010, at his residence in Swainsboro, GA. He was a native of Tattnall County.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa, of Swainsboro; one son, Lontavious McClary of Hinesville, GA; three daughters, Gwen Harris and Lillian Lee, both of Atlanta and Asprid Parker of Vidalia, GA; five brothers, Percy Harris, Theodore Harris, Theron Harris, all of Reidsville, GA, Vonnie Harris, Jr., of Vidalia, GA and Milton Harris of Tampa, FL; two sisters, Effie Harris and Aretha Usher, both of Reidsville, GA and Veronica Hall of Miami, FL; his mother, Mildred Harris of Reidsville, GA; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 5, 2010, at 1 p.m., at St. Phillips Missionary Baptist Church in Swainsboro, GA. Reverend Ronnie Harden will give the Eulogy. Interment will follow in Odgen Mills cemetery in Reidsville, GA. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, June 4, from 6 - 7 p.m.

Eddie Lee Kennedy, 56
Mr. Eddie Lee Kennedy, 56, of Glennville, passed away Friday, May 29, 2010, at the Ogeechee Area Hospice Center in Statesboro.
He was a member of Greater Zachariah Baptist Church and attended the public schools in Tattnall County. He was the son of the late Mr. Edwood and Lucille Kennedy.
He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Betty (Coleman) McMillan of Glennville; his brother, John Kennedy of Glennville; nieces, Mrs. Sherry (Marshall) Broadhurst of Glennville, and Mrs. Lillian Talley of Athens; nephews, Tellas Kennedy and Perez Staples, both of Glennville, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at Greater Zachariah Baptist Church, with burial following in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday at the Chapel of King and Son’s Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Wake from 7:00 - 8:00 at the funeral home.

Mother Martha Beasley Williams, 81
Mother Martha Beasley Williams, 81, passed away on May 15, 2010, at Henry General Hospital. She was born March 29, 1929, in Reidsville, GA, daughter of Maggie Cheney Beasley and Samuel C. Beasley. She moved to the Atlanta area after graduating from Reidsville High School in 1946, where she worked at Davison - Paxon Department Store and later in the banking business. She married
Virgil Williams, now deceased, of Atlanta in 1949 and became a homemaker and the mother of three daughters. She took an early retirement from First National Bank of Atlanta during the time of the First National and Wachovia merger. After retirement she did volunteer work in Clayton County and at Clayton General Hospital. She was a volunteer pianist and organist at Forest Park United Methodist Church, later moving her membership to Locust Grove United Methodist Church.
She enjoyed working in her flower garden and she loved animals, having numerous well - loved pets across the years.
She is survived by daughters and son - in - laws, Virginia and Donald Jones of Snellville, GA, Jean and Philip Long of Locust Grove, GA and Carol Varner of Athens, GA and one step - daughter, Jimmie Chapman; ten grandchildren and one step - grandchild, numerous great - grandchildren and one twin sister, Mary Beasley.
Pallbearers were grandsons, Stevie Backus, Brian Long, Allen Long, Tim Long, Jeremy Varner and Jack Varner.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough, GA, with Rev. Bill Curington, officiating. Burial followed in the Forest Hill Memorial Park in Forest Park.
Keith Dewayne Albright, 52
Keith Dewayne Albright, age 52, of Ludowici passed away Thursday, March 18, 2010, at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Jesup after a short illness. Keith was a native of Savannah and attended St. Stephen Catholic Church in Hinesville. He was previously employed at Friedman Electronics Radio Shack of Hinesville. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. Mr. Albright is preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Albright.
He is survived by his parents Curtis L. Sr. and JoAnne Albright of Rincon. His ex - wife of 25 years, Julie Pilcher; son, Joel and Ian Smith of Savannah; three daughters, Jennifer Albright of Midville, Melanie Albright of Ludowici, Stephanie Albright of Richmond Hill; three brothers, Curtis L. Jr. and Donna Albright of Midway, Chris and Cindy Albright of Ellabel, Craig and Penny Albright of Hinesville; sister, Kim and Mark Shabi of Springfield; two grandchildren, Isabelle Smith and Jaedyn Stubbs. Several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be at Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home Glennville Chapel, with interment to follow at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Glennville, GA.

Louis Anderson, 75
Mr. Louis Anderson, age 75 passed away Wednesday March 17, 2010, at his residence surrounded by his family and under the care of Community Hospice. The Glennville native had lived in Reidsville most of his life. He worked in the timber industry for many years and was of the Holiness faith. Mr. Anderson is preceded in death by his daughter, Debra Anderson Perez; son, Tommy Anderson, grandchildren, Tomzo Guiterez, Alex Ramirez, Latisha and Donna Sue Anderson.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Patsy Anderson of Reidsville; six daughters, Velvet Juarez, Brenda Nopal, Betty Ramirez, Barbara Guiterez, Diane Savai and Marie Corona, all of Reidsville; son, Bobby Anderson of Reidsville; sister, Grace Padgett of Reidsville; 36 grandchildren, 16 great - grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, March 20, 2010, from the Reidsville Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home with the Reverend William Prince officiating. Interment followed in the Reidsville City Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ron Savai, Johnny Blanton, Gary Padgett, Jorge Campos, Ricty Batz and Javier Delgado.

Jolly H. Cason, 73
Jolly H. Cason, 73, died Wednesday, March 18, 2010, at his residence. The Evans county native had lived in Glennville all of his life. He was a retired small engine mechanic, working with Mann’s Lawn Mower Repair for many years. He was a member of Watermelon Creek Baptist Church and an avid hunter and fisherman. He is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Cammack Cason.
Survivors include children, Debra Barfield of Glennville, Pam Davis (Cheryl) of Jacksonville, FL, Tony Cason (Shelia) of Glennville, Michelle Schmidt (Jimmy) of West Palm Beach, FL; brothers, Kyle Cason of Statesboro, Roger Cason of Springfield, Dwight, Larry and Terry Cason, all of Glennville; sisters, Virginia Bragg of Midway and Juanita Williams of Glennville; 11 grandchildren, eight great - grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services were held at Saturday, March 20, 2010, from the Chapel of Brannen - Kennedy Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Miller and Bro. Earl Cammack officiating. A eulogy was given by Chris Foland. Burial followed in Glennville City Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Louie Davis, John Foland, Jimmy Schmidt, Charles Foland, Shane Foland, Jesse Bates. Honorary Pallbearers were Jimmy Haire, Ricky Anderson, Terrell Futch, Louis Geiger, Darvin Purcell, Jack Jones, Willie Mann and Jack Weathers.

Jerry G. Cramer, 64
Jerry G. Cramer, 64, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2010, at Candler Hospital in Savannah. The Tattnall County native was a U. S. Army veteran serving for 20 years before retiring in 1983 and moving back to Glennville. He served two tours in Vietnam where he received a Purple Heart, Meritorious Service Medal and several other awards. He was retired from Civil Service at Ft. Stewart and was of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by his wife, Julie Cramer of Glennville; sons, Sam Cramer and Nathan Cramer, both of Glennville; daughter and son - in - law, Erin and Barry Giddens of Macon; mother, Colleen Smith of Collins; sister and brother - in - law, Libby and Jim Henderson of Norfolk, VA; brothers, John Rushing of Reidsville and Preston Rushing of Collins; grandson, Maddux Giddens of Macon and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 23, 2010, at the Chapel of Brannen - Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial followed in Georgia Veterans Memorial cemetery with full military honors.

Nina Mae Smith Driggers, 85
Nina Mae Smith Driggers, 85, passed away, Friday, March 19, 2010, at her residence under the care of Georgia Home Care Hospice. She had lived in Glennville most of her life and was retired from Claxton Manufacturing and was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her husband, Coy L. Driggers and a son David Driggers
She is survived by children, Gary Driggers and wife Fran, Donnie Driggers and wife Beth, and Larry Driggers and wife Pamela all of Glennville; five grandchildren, eight grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services were held Monday, March 22, 2010, at the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home with Rev. Oscar Rowe Jr. officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Moriah Church cemetery in Toombs County.

Reatha G. Dukes, 79
Mrs. Reatha G. Dukes, 79, of Glennville, Ga. passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at the Glenvue Nursing Home in Glennville. She was a former member of the Abundant Life Ministries in Statesboro, GA, a life long Christian and evangelist.
She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Gore of Glennville, and Willie Dukes of Pittsburgh, PA; one daughter, Judy Carter of Seneca, SC, brothers and sisters: Frances Daniels of Maryland, Dorothy Pollenitz of Pittsburgh, Benny Smith of NC, Marty Johns of Detroit, MI. She was preceded in death by two children, Edward Dukes, Ida Gore and her twin brother Robert Gore.
Funeral Services will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 2010, at the chapel of the Glenvue Nursing Home in Glennville, with burial in the Memorial Gardens cemetery in Glennville, GA.

Hubert Hill, 67
Mr. Hubert Hill, age 67, passed away Monday March 22, 2010, at St. Josephs Hospital surrounded by his family. The Chatham County native had lived in Quitman before moving to Reidsville 40 years ago. He retired from the Farmers Home Administration after 30 years of service and also from BB&T in Vidalia as a loan officer. He served as a paramedic with the Air National Guard and the Tattnall County Emergency Medical Service. Mr. Hill served as past master of the Rising Sun Lodge #32, Clerk for the Tattnall Evans Baptist Association, Secretary - Treasurer of the Country Boy Plow Club, member of the Tattnall County Tax Assessors Board, former member of the Reidsville Fire Department and was a member and the treasurer of Friendship Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, C.B. and Lurie Hill; brother, Reggie Hill, sister, Marlene Sullivan and a grandson, Dustin Hill.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Delores T. Hill of Reidsville; three sons and daughters - in - law, Brian Hill of Rye Patch, Gordon and Michelle Hill of Hickory, NC, and Brian and Reika Strickland of Reidsville; two daughters and son - in - law, Brianna Hill of Reidsville and Dusty and Keith Durrence of Glennville; two brothers and sister - in - law, Wendell Hill of Savannah and Aldrick and Sherry Hill of Reidsville; two sisters, Mauvaree Ferland of Pooler and Fae Kameron of Savannah; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday from the Reidsville Chapel.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday from the Reidsville Baptist Church with the Reverends Andy Hayman, Kenny Edwards, Tom Shephard and James Bland officiating. Interment will follow in the Reidsville City cemetery with Masonic Rites.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Hill, Michael Furland, David McCall, Matt Tucker, Michael Bashlor and Shane Cowart.

Geneva Stanfield Jackson, 91, died Tuesday, March 23, 2010, at Bolingreen Health & Rehabilitation Center in Macon. The Tattnall County native had lived in Glennville most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Survivors include a son, George Jackson of Macon; five sisters: Estelle Swain, Edith Driggers, Bertie Lue Parker, Marie Carraway, all of Glennville, Esel Ray of Rincon; brother, H. A. Stanfield of Glennville; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm, Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at Brannen - Kennedy Funeral Home in Glennville.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, March 25, 2010, from the Chapel of Brannen - Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Watermelon Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
