John Wesley Prince, Sr.
Mr. John Wesley Prince, Sr. (Salty), age 71 of Lake Talmadge, Hampton, Georgia died November 19, 2007. He was born
in Covington to the late Robert William Prince, Sr. and Mary Katherine Finley Prince. Salty was known as one of the most outstanding football players at Newton County High School in the ‘50’s and also played football for the University of Georgia. He was a retired teacher for Fulton County School System and was a member of the Hampton First United Methodist Church. He was affectionately known as “John John” to his adoring grandchildren. He was a very active person, enjoying cycling, white water sports, all other sports and attending football games, especially UGA football games.
Survivors include his wife, Suzanne Attaway Prince of Hampton; son, Dr. John Wesley Prince Jr. of Lexington, Kentucky; daughter and son-in-law, Paree Prince Shedd and Dale Shedd of Athens; grandchildren, Brittany Suzanne Prince of Lexington, Kentucky, Parissa Suzanne Shedd and Peyton Dale Shedd both of Athens; brother and sister-in-law, Robert William Prince, Jr. (Sonny) and Mary Pace Prince of Monticello; sister, Marjorie Ann Joyner of Lithonia; cousins, Jackie Jay Finley of Smyrna and Dorsey Gary Hill and his wife Charlotte of Atlanta and numerous other relatives and friends.
Services were held November 23 from the Hampton First United Methodist Church with Rev. Mark Burgess officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Prince Avenue Christian School, 2201 Ruth Jackson Road, Bogart, GA 30622 in memory of John Wesley Prince, Sr. Haisten Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Estelle Turner
Estelle Turner, age 89, of McDonough, Georgia died November 20, 2007. She was born
in Monroe, Georgia daughter of the late William J. and Fannie Mae Chaffin. Mrs. Turner was also preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Howard Turner. She was a member of McDonough Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Turner is survived by her son, David Turner of James Island, South Carolina; daughter-in-law, Dee Sanders of McDonough; grandchildren, Brian Turner, Glenn Howard Turner, II, Isaac Turner, Grady Turner; great-grandsons, Nathan Turner, Christopher Turner, and brother, Leroy Chaffin of Conyers.
Memorial services were held November 24 at The Chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors with Rev. Dudley Rose officiating. Leslie Carlton Valentine
Mr. Leslie “Les” Carlton Valentine, age 56, of McDonough, Georgia died November 23, 2007. He was born
in Savannah the son of the late Edna Smith and Gary Casper Valentine. He was a member of McDonough Presbyterian Church, he enjoyed motorcycles, fishing, golf, college football and cars.
He is survived by his daughters; Melissa Valentine of Mc-Donough and Crystal Valentine of Marietta.
Services for Mr. Valentine were held November 26 in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Courtney Wall officiating. Donald Ray Bebout
Mr. Donald Ray Bebout, age 77 of McDonough, died November 24, 2007. He is survived by wife, Lou Ann Trennepohl-Bebout of Mc-Donough; sons, Mark and Susan Bebout, Brett and Cindy Bebout, Brad and Chris Bebout, Scott and Brenda Bebout; daughter-in-law, Jan Meyer; grandchildren, Michael, Lauren, Brittany, Bryan, Christopher, Jordyn and Katy; brother, Charles and Mildred Bebout; sister, Eileen Powell. Mr. Bebout was a member of Heritage Hills Baptist Church, a Veteran of the U.S. Army, and an avid craftsman in woodworking, making birdhouses, shelves, and children’s toys. Funeral services will be held November 28 at 2:00 p.m. at Scot Ward’s Harry White Chapel with Michael Bebout and Brittany Bebout officiating. Interment Eternal Hills Memory Gardens.

Stephen Hall
Stephen Hall, age 35, of Stockbridge, Georgia died Sunday, November 25, 2007. He was born
in Atlanta. Stephen loved being outside and coaching soccer, but most important to him were his girls.
Mr. Hall is survived by his wife, Pam Hall; daughters, Emily Carroll and Mollie Rose Hall; parents, Doug, Sr. and Geraldine Hall, all of Stockbridge; brothers, Doug Hall, Jr. of McDonough, Ken Hall of Stockbridge; sister, Renee Ballew of Flovilla; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins; and in-laws, Arthur and Betty Cosby of Stockbridge.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on November 28 at First Baptist Church, Stockbridge with Rev. Steve Murell officiating. Interment Fairview Memorial Gardens. Beth (Bootsie) Mashburn
Beth (Bootsie) Mashburn, age 82, of Stockbridge, Georgia formerly of Peachtree Hills, Atlanta, died November 25, 2007. She was born
in Roswell to Harvey and Pearl (Anglin) Hopkins. She was a member of North Peachtree Baptist Church, Doraville. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Mashburn.
Ms. Mashburn is survived by daughters, Beverly Wilkerson and Linda Sue Rosenberg both of Stockbridge; sister, Overa Hopkins of East Point; Brother, Raymond L.(Edna) Hopkins of Jackson; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two children, Bonnie Dale Waters, Thomas Hugh Waters; two brothers and one sister.
Graveside services were held November 28 at Crest Lawn Memorial Park with Benny Mashburn officiating. Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.

Theresa June Hill, age 56, of Stockbridge, Georgia died November 11, 2007. She was born
in Atlanta. She enjoyed family, friends, music, and dancing.
Mrs. Hill is survived by her husband, Roy R. Hill, Sr., of Stockbridge; children, Roy R. Hill, Jr. of Stockbridge, Tonya L. Spivey of Vidalia, Rex R. Hill, of McDonough, Tamie J. Betsill of Stockbridge; father, Ferrell Dewey Cowart; mother, Catherine June Cowart; 9 grandchildren; siblings, Ava L. Williamson, Ferrell Dewey Cowart, Jr., and Vickie D. Cox.
