Albert Harold Toney, Sr.
Albert Harold Toney, Sr., age 63, of McDonough, Georgia died November 29, 2007. He was born
in Atlanta, son of the late Albert Hansel and Lucy Estelle Brady Toney. Mr. Toney was a member of Community Bible Church where he formerly served as a deacon. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Mr. Toney is survived by his wife, Brenda Toney; children, Deborah Toney-Davis of McDonough, Hal Toney of Newnan, Chris Toney of Hampton, GA; sisters, Sandra Myers of Fayetteville, Brenda Dickey of Locust Grove; grandchildren, Justin Davis, Trey Davis, Cody Toney-Wilson, Candace Toney, Courtney Toney; great-grandchildren, Kierstin and Kyla Davis.
Funeral services were held December 2 at Community Bible Church with Pastor Brooks Everett officiating. Interment Camp Memorial Park. Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
Marjorie Maxine Kelly
Mrs. Marjorie Maxine Kelly, age 82, of Stockbridge, Georgia died November 30, 2007. She was born
in Domino, Kentucky to the late James T. and Bessie Sellers Head. She was a member of the Stockbridge First United Methodist Church and retired from Sears. Her proudest recollection was being the nursery keeper at Glen Haven United Methodist Church for many years. Mrs. Kelly was preceded in death by her daughter, Janice Bunch, a brother, Pearl L. Head, and a sister, Nada Evans.
Mrs. Kelly is survived by her daughters, Betty J. (Wallace L.) Newton of Stockbridge and Merry (Frank Blount) Barfield of Loganville; sister, Nadine Perkins of Jellico, Tennessee; brother, James C. Head of Jellico, Tennessee; 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Services were held December 3 at the Stockbridge First United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim McRae officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Stockbridge First United Methodist Church, The Methodist Children’s Home of Decatur, or the American Diabetes Association. Yong Suk Bradley
Yong Suk Bradley, age 62, of Stockbridge, Georgia died December 3, 2007. She was born
in Seoul, South Korea to the late Chang Soo and Ms. Song Park. She was known for her hard work and dedication to her church. She studied the bible many hours so that she could effectively teach and explain the Bible to all those wanting to learn. Mrs. Bradley held the position of Elder in the church and she had a devout loyalty to God. Her devotion to God was so strong she refused to give up her work in the church even at the expense of helping her husband find work after he retired from the military.
Mrs. Bradley is survived by her husband, David Bradley of Stockbridge.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 9 at Community Bible Church with Pastor Ruth Swalve officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday, December 9 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the church. Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
Cecil T. Love
Cecil T. Love, age 80, of Stockbridge, Georgia died November 17, 2007. He was born
in Stockbridge, son of the late Greg Thomas and Clara E. Ray Love. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Stockbridge and was also a Mason. Mr. Love retired from Swift and Company and formerly worked with Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the United States Navy. Most of all to those who knew and loved him he was “Poppie”.
Mr. Love is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Libby) S. Love; brother, Robert E. Love; sister and brother-in-law, Sara L. and Charles Moseley, all of Stockbridge.
Funeral services were held November 19 at First Baptist Church, Stockbridge with Rev. Steve Murell officiating. Interment Fairview Memorial Gardens. Milton L. (Mel) Kidd, Jr
Milton L. (Mel) Kidd, Jr, age 47, of McDonough, Georgia died November 19, 2007 following a lengthy illness. He was born
in Cullman, Alabama. Mr. Kidd was a graduate of Greater Atlanta Christian School. In high school he excelled in track and field and set school records in shot-put. He enlisted in the United States Air Force where he specialized in avionics. He served in Desert Storm servicing the F-111 fighters. He continued his love of aircraft after serving his country working in the airline industry and focusing on avionics. He enjoyed camping, bow hunting, and motorcycles. Most important to him was family. He was preceded in death by his father, Milton L. Kidd, Sr. and grandparents, A.M. and Mona Bonds Kidd, and Archie C. and Rena Abercrombie Patterson.
Mr. Kidd is survived by his mother, Doris Jean Kidd of, McDonough,; sisters, Deborah Anita Clark of Seymour, Tennessee, Marilyn Whitaker of Hampton; nieces, Amanda Clark of Seymour, Tennessee, Angela (Rodney) of Heaton, Pennsylvania ; nephews, Brent (Jessica) Clark of Knoxville of Tennessee, and Brad Clark of Seymour, Tennessee.
Funeral services were held November 21 at McDonough Church of Christ with Ministers J.J. Turner and Jeff Wilder officiating. Margaret V. Hooten
Margaret V. Hooten, age 91, of McDonough, died November 19, 2007. She was born
in Randall, Minnesota, daughter of the late William and Belle Harvey Vogt. She was also preceded in death by her husband William Hooten. Mrs. Hooten was a member of First United Methodist Church in McDonough where she taught Sunday School for nearly 40 years. She was also a member of the Heritage Senior Center and enjoyed playing bingo there. She enjoyed quilting and taught quilting classes and loved to travel.
Mrs. Hooten is survived by her son, Richard (Joyce) Barbeau of Stockbridge; daughter, Jennie Henck of McDonough; grandchildren, Eddie Barbeau, Terri (Andrew) Barbeau-Benya, Jaime Henck, Shawn Henck; and great-grandchildren, Joshua Barbeau, and Ethan Jensen.

Jim McDonald
Jim McDonald, age 59, of McDonough, Georgia died November 19, 2007. He was born
in Birmingham, Alabama, son of the late James L., Sr. and Elizabeth Virginia Bell McDonald. He served our country with the United States Navy during Vietnam.
Mr. McDonald is survived by his wife, Wanda McDonald of McDonough; children, Michael McDonald, Michelle Kunder, Melissa Still, Amanda Stromatt; sister, Linda M. Gray; nephew, Joel Robertson; six grandchildren.
