Bernice Rehm McKinney
Mrs. Bernice “Be” Rehm McKinney, age 72, of McDonough, Georgia died December 6, 2007. Mrs. McKinney was born
in Ozone Park, New York the daughter of the late Ada Cunnane and Sylvester Reeder. Mrs. McKinney enjoyed her family, friends, traveling, shopping, antiques, jewelry, was a family historian and a collector of teapots.
Survivors are her husband, George McKinney of McDonough; children, Joseph and Deborah Rehm of New York, Christine and Frank Kliesrath of McDonough, and Steven and Colleen Rehm of New York, grandchildren, Amanda and Joseph Rehm, Craig and Kathryn Kliesrath, Steven, Colin, and Morgan Rehm; sister, Adeline Dillon of Locust Grove and several nieces and nephews.
Services for Mrs. McKinney were held December 10 in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Deacon Pat Gillespie officiating. Entombment at Haisten/Eastlawn Memorial Park. Haisten Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Jack Harold Parker
Jack Harold Parker, age 64, of Stockbridge, Georgia died Thursday, December 6, 2007. Mr. Parker was Vice President and Co-owner of Parker Brothers, Inc., an independently family owned company of oils, lubricants and service station supplies located in Ellenwood for the past 31 years. Mr. Parker was a very active member of a group of citizens developing and maintaining Cochran Park prior to becoming a county maintained park. He actively supported the athletic activities of his grandsons.
Mr. Parker is survived by his wife, Eunice (Crossley) Parker; son, Hal (Laurie) Parker of McDonough; daughter, Vicki (Brian) Nichols of Stockbridge; grandsons, Jake Parker, Luke Parker; granddaughter, Kenna Nichols; sisters, Carol Parker of Forsyth, Diane Collum and Judy (Howard) King of McDonough; brothers, Fred (LaVerne) Parker, John (Sara) Parker of Stockbridge, Ray (Barbara) Parker of McDonough. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held December 8 at the Chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors with Rev. Jeff McBurnett officiating. Interment Fairview Memorial Gardens. Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
LaMoin Perry
Mr. LaMoin Perry “Papaw Lee”, age 65, of Hampton, Georgia died December 6, 2007. Mr. Perry was born
in West Liberty, Kentucky. He enjoyed his family and friends, his motorcycle and airplane and being able to travel. He was a member of the Hiwaymen Motorcycle Club. His father, Carl Perry, preceded Mr. Perry in death.
Survivors are his children, Roger and Tammy Perry of McDonough, Tamara Miller of Somerset, Kentucky and Gordon Perry of Weatherford, Oklahoma; mother, Corda Perry of Hampton; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Vernon and Barbartine Perry of Jackson; sister and brother-in-law, Carletta and Eddie Oney of Hampton; several nieces and nephews.
Services for LeMoin Perry were held December 9 in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Smith officiating. Haisten Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Clyde Dunn
Clyde Dunn, age 78, of McDonough, Georgia died November 20, 2007. He was born
in East Point, son of the late Ruel and Nellie Ruth Howell Dunn. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Dunn. Mr. Dunn was a member of Tara Church of Christ. He worked for Ford Motor Comapany for 35 years as an inspector. He loved participating in drag racing and enjoyed traveling. Most of all he loved his family.
Mr. Dunn is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Teresa (Jimmy) Priestley of McMinnville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Shannon (Ellen) Priestley of McMinnville, Tennessee; Stacey Priestley of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Jay (Elizabeth) Priestley of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; great-grandchildren, Jackson Priestley, Emily Priestley; siblings, Kenneth Dunn of Fayetteville, Harry Dunn of Panama City, Florida, Ruth Stroble of Jacksonville, Florida, James Dunn of Jacksonville, Florida, Mary Jane Cotter of Kansas City, Missouri, Danny Dunn of Jacksonville,?Florida; and special neighbors, Todd and Kelly Powell.

Zachary Lynn Duncan
Zachary Lynn Duncan, age 39, of Conyers, Georgia died Saturday, November 24, 2007. He was born
in Atlanta on March 29, 1968. Zachary was a manager at Town & Country Dodge in Conyers for the past three years. He was an entrepreneur involved in land development and residential building and enjoyed cars, riding recreational vehicles and water sports.
Mr. Duncan is survived by his children, McKenzie T. Duncan of McDonough, Cameron Z. Duncan of Conyers; Parents, James L.(Judith) Duncan of McDonough; brother and sister-in-Law, Larry O.(Jody L.) Duncan of Jonesboro; maternal grandmother, Helen L. Greiner of Piney View, West Virginia; best friend, Daniel P. Bygrave of Conyers.
Funeral services were held on November 29 at the chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors with Rev. Gary Lewis officiating. Russell C. Akins
Mr. Russell C. Akins, age 57, of Locust Grove, Georgia died November 25, 2007. He was born
in Rome, son of the late David Luther and Alice Inez Fortune. Mr. Akins was a plumber with Local Union 72, a member of the Southside Baptist Church in Rome, a member of the Hampton Masonic Lodge #70 and a Shriner. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and teaching hunting education classes. He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Akins of Locust Grove; children, Tara and Charles G. Evans of Forsyth, Shane Akins of Forsyth, Brittney Petersen and Shelbi Petersen all of Locust Grove; grandchildren, Christopher Akins and Natasha Evans; sisters-in-law, Helen Akins of Rocky Face and Mildred Akins of Rome; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services were held December 1 from the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. Shane Akins officiating. Phillip Ray Granger
Phillip Ray Granger, age 64, of Forest Park, Georgia died Wednesday, November 28, 2007. He was born
in Sulpher, Louisiana son of the late Hilda Granger. Mr. Granger was a member of New Beginnings Christian Church in Griffin. He was owner and operator of Phil's Trucking Inc. He enjoyed golfing and camping, but he especially enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Mr. Granger is survived by his wife, Betty K. Hyde Granger of Forest Park; children, Deborah L. Lopez, of Locust Grove, Michael Ray (Shelley) Granger, Renee (Jon) Freeman, Penny (Van) Palmer, all of McDonough; 10 grandchildren; father, Lester Burle Granger and sister, Gloria Stine, both of Vinton, Louisiana.
