Harold C. Shrider of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away on December 11, 2007. He is survived by his wife, Lynda, and many loving children and grandchildren.

Marvene Wood
Marvene Wood, age 65, of Stockbridge, Georgia died December 11, 2007. She was born
in Atlanta to the late Hobert M. and Johnsie Croft Graham.
Mrs. Wood is survived by her husband, Robert Earnest Wood of Stockbridge; daughter, Renee Kilgore of Rainbow City, Alabama; sons: Robert Wood of Stockbridge, Ron Wood of Atlanta; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and sister, Christine Graham of Jenkinsburg.
Graveside services were held December 14 at Resthaven Garden of Memory in Decatur with Rev. Reed Benson officiating. Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
Carolyn B. Odum
Carolyn B. Odum, age 75, of Lake Jackson, Texas died December 12, 2007. She was born
in Lawrenceville, Georgia to the late Guy and Bama Brand and graduated from College Park High School. Mrs. Odum was preceded in death by her husband, Jack L. Odum and sister, Virginia Wigode.
Mrs. Odum is survived by her sister, Doris Sauser of Stockbridge; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held December 16 at the Chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors with Dr. Tim Dowdy officiating. Interment Westview Cemetery. Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
William Eugene Houston
Mr. William Eugene “Bill” Houston, age 47, of Locust Grove, Georgia died December 9, 2007. He was born
in DeKalb County to the late James Berrymn Houston.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Cook Cummings of McDonough; brothers and sisters-in-law, Scott and Marquitta Houston of Locust Grove, Russell and Lyndi Houston of Andersonville; grandmother, Minie Mae Cook of Forest Park; nieces and nephews.
Services were held December 13 from the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. Buddy Perstrope officiating. Interment Westview Cemetery. Haisten Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
John T. Cameron, Jr.
Mr. John T. Cameron, Jr., age 69, of McDonough passed away December 11, 2007. He was born
in Fulton County to the late John T. Cameron, Sr. and Catherine Brandt Cameron. He served his country in the United States Navy. He became an Atlanta City Police Officer and later retired as Chief Medical Examiner of Fulton County. He also retired as the Chief of Police for the City of Fairburn. He was on the Henry County Board of the Council on Aging, enjoyed golfing, was a Mason, and a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Fayetteville. He was preceded in death by his sister, Margaret Norris.
Survivors are his loving wife, Laura Cameron of McDonough; children, Danny and Kim Cameron of Newnan, Connie and Richie Hardin and Mike and Karrie Cameron all of McDonough; grandchildren, Kallie Sherrod and Kyle Cameron, Stephanie and Seth Hardin and Aubrey and Ashley Cameron; sister, Pat Windham of Alabama; brother, Tommy Taylor of Alabama; nieces and nephews.

Frances Roxanna Glenn Edwards
Mrs. Frances Roxanna Glenn “Nano” Edwards, age 87, of McDonough, Georgia died December 11, 2007. She was born
in Shelby County, Alabama to the late Frances Richard David and Jimmie Elizabeth Cost Glenn. She retired after 25 years with the Georgia Department of Education as a librarian for the blind. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and was a volunteer librarian for the Cathedral Towers, where she had been a resident. She was an avid reader and accomplished poet; enjoyed crossword puzzles; and playing competitive games with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Tweety Edwards, and by a sister, Allene DeCook and brothers, James R. Glenn and Ralph D. Glenn.
Survivors include her children, Franky Vaughan, Glenda Anne Ragsdale, and Nancy E. Glenn all of McDonough, Earl W. Edwards of Morrow; 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 4 great- great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Services were held December 15 from the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. Phil Duncan officiating. Interment Fairview Memorial Gardens. Haisten Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Clarance Dutton
Clarance Dutton, age 78, of Barnesville, Georgia died December 15, 2007. Mr. Dutton was born
in Spalding County to the late Zack and Eunice Hughen Dutton. He is also preceded in death by a son, Stacy Dutton, brother, William Dutton, and sister, Mable Hardin. Mr. Dutton was the Owner/Operator of Dutton Heavy Equipment Repair.
Mr. Dutton is survived by wife. Marian Dutton, children, Diane Parker of Griffin, Dale (Marlin) Reece of High Falls, Chris Morris of McDonough, Sue (Ken) Reeves of McDonough, Jodi (Scott) Burch of Ola; siblings, L.M. Dutton, Buck Dutton, Alma Dutton, and Ed Dutton, all of Griffin; 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Graveside services were held December 18 at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens with Jimmy Vinson, officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Christian Ministries Hospice, 121 W. College St. Griffin, GA 30224. Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
