Laura McMurphy Malone
Laura McMurphy Maloney, age 79, of McDonough, Georgia, formerly of Constable, New York, died November 21, 2009. She was born
in Williston, Vermont, the daughter of the late Fannie Harrington and Allen Lemuel McMurphy. Mrs. Maloney was a member of St. James Catholic Church. She was a member of the New York Teachers Association. Mrs. Maloney enjoyed spending time with her family, doing crafts with her grandchildren, was a talented seamstress and enjoyed embroidery, She enjoyed birds, eating out, and Starbucks Coffee. She was preceded in death by a son, Mark Andrew Maloney and four brothers.
Survivors are her husband of 57 years, Henry (Red) Maloney of McDonough; children, Margaret Ann Maclin of Constable, New York, Patricia Marie Curtis and husband Michael of McDonough, and Mary Ellen Culver of McDonough; 7 grandchildren; brothers, Allen McMurphy of Richford, Vermont and James McMurphy of Kansas; sister, Martha Law of Winsted, Connecticut; several nieces and nephews.

Eloise McEntire Legg
Eloise McEntire Legg, age 84, of McDonough, Georgia, died November 22, 2009. She was born
in Chatsworth to the late John Harris and Gussie Stroud McEntire. Mrs. Legg retired from Southern Bell and attended Henry Baptist Church. Mrs. Legg was preceded in death by her husband, George Legg.
She is survived by her children, Kendall (Ott) Legg, Pooler, Dennis (Tina) Legg, Lawrenceville, Freida (Tino) Orona, McDonough, Wayne (Tammy) Legg, McDonough; grandchildren, Nick Legg, Jason Legg, Jennifer Legg-Parker, Jarred Orona, Blake Orona, Trevor Legg, Conner Legg, Jonathan Legg, Daniel Legg; great-grandchildren, Sarah Legg, Thomas Legg, Kenli Stewart, Abigail Newlin; and special dog, Buttons.

Roger Stanley Smith
Roger Stanley Smith, age 58, of McDonough, Georgia, died November 1, 2009. He was born
in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and teacher of the Hope Sunday School class.
Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Judy Smith, McDonough, ; children, Jennifer (Todd) Lon-don and Ryan (Monica) Smith; parents, Rev. Vernon Mark and Johnnie Vanderford Smith; grandchildren, Lani, Bradley, Benjamin, Kayla, Rylan, and Beau; siblings, Rev. Mike (Jackie) Smith, Linda (Lawrence) Ward, Dondra (Ricky) Quinton, Karen (Wayne) Vanhorn, David (Jane) Smith, Steve (Terri) Smith, Lisa (Brad) Tucker, Leslie (Johnny) Dickinson, Greg (Melody) Smith, and Jason (April) Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Patricia Holloway
Patricia Holloway, age 77, of McDonough, Georgia, died November 11, 2009. She was born
to the late Willis P. and Kathryn Selena Lingo Goodwin. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Kathryn Holloway, and brother, Willis Mack Goodwin. Mrs. Holloway was a faithful member of Stockbridge Presbyterian Church for over 50 years. She was fondly known as "Miss Pat," the 4-H lady, and took an interest in every child as if they were her own children. She enjoyed nature, loved butterflies and hummingbirds, but most of all, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Holloway is survived by her husband, James Harold Holloway, McDonough; children, Lynn (Ralph) Holloway Pack, Stockbridge; Cynthia (Scott) Holloway Ray, Smyrna; and Hal (Kathy) Holloway, Winston; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Harold Goodwin, Stockbridge; and several nieces and nephews.

Chester LaVelle Baker
Chester LaVelle Baker, age 66, of Stockbridge, Georgia, died November 9, 2009. He was born
in LaGrange to the late Chester Lee and Mozelle Adams Baker. Mr. Baker was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Baker. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
Mr. Baker is survived by his wife, Arlene Baker, Stockbridge; daughter, JoAnn (John) Hodson, Bentonville, Arkansas; and grandchildren, Avery Hodson, Savanna Hodson, and Hailey Hodson.

Brenda Kay Looney, age 66, of McDonough, Georgia, died November 11, 2009. She was born
in Dalton to the late Leslie and Miriam Moss Callaway. Mrs. Looney was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Looney. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Mrs. Looney is survived by her husband, Joseph Looney, McDonough; daughters, Kathleen Higgins, McDonough, Hope Bell, Locust Grove; grandchildren, Jeffrey Higgins, Caitlin Higgins, Delaney Bell, and Adelyn Bell; and brother, Charles Callaway, Jonesboro.

Geraldine Cloud
Geraldine Cloud, age 93, of Stockbridge, Georgia, died November 11, 2009. Mrs. Cloud was born
in Cumming to the late Henry and Daisy Lawson. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in the Old Fulton Bag Cotton Mill Village. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years Lloyd Cloud.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Albertson of Stockbridge; son, Lloyd B. Cloud of Jasper; 8 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
