Olivia Richey Hearn, 88, of Knoxville, formerly of Lincoln, Ala., and Panama City, died Monday, Oct. 11, 1999, at Baptist Hospital in Knoxville, She was a member of First Baptst Church Concord, a retired school teacher with Bay County Education Department of Panama City, having taught in Millville school for 25 years. She was preceded in death in 1975 by her husband, Millard F. Hearn. Survivors included a son and daughter-in-law, Millard F. Jr. and Jana Hearn of Pittsburg, Pa.; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Emma and Mike Bunch of Knoxville; grandchildren: Michael C. Bunch Jr. and wife, Karen, Gregory A. Bunch, John V.R. Hearn, and Susannah M.O. Hearn; great-grandson, Michael Taylor Bunch; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, William C. and Nell Hearn of Talladega, Ala.; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet 11:30 a.m., Wednesday at Lincoln Cemetery, Lincoln, Ala., for a 12 noon graveside service with the Rev. Bob Sessions officiating. Aimee Peacock Lee, 97, of 1708 West 11th Street, Panama City, died Oct. 11, 1999, in her home. She was a homemaker and had been a resident of Panama City since 1923 moving here from Enterprise, Ala. She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne E. Lee. She was a member of the Saint Andrew United Methodist Church. She is survived by three sons: William P. (Bill) Lee and his wife Margaret of Panama City, Wayne E. Lee Jr. and his wife Marty of Gulf Breeze, Fla. and James D. Lee and his wife Barbara of Panama City Beach; three daughters: Aimee Jo Nelson and her husband Karl of Panama City, Ruth Williams and her husband Bill of Bay Point, Anne Carey Herner and her husband Don of Novato, Calif., and 17 grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 4 p.m. in Greenwood Cemetery

Richard Lee Perkins, 56, of Panama City, Fla., died Oct. 10, 1999, at his home with his family after a long battle with cancer. He graduated from Oklahoma State University and was a supervising partner for Sonic Restaurants in the Panama City/Fort Walton area. Richard was an entrepreneur and had been in the restaurant business all of his life. He successfully built and operated 17 franchise restaurants for Ken's Pizza in the Midwest. He developed the Perky's Pizza chain in the Tampa/Sarasota area. He owned and operated seven travel agencies in Missouri. He had been a resident of Florida for 15 years moving to Florida from Joplin, Mo. He was a member of the Forest Park United Methodist Church, Chamber of Commerce, and Rotary International. Richard is survived by his wife, Marsha Perkins; three daughters: Robin Perkins of Sarasota, Fla., Adrianne Perkins of Atlanta, Ga., Michele Fultz and husband, Tracy of Sarasota; two sons: Madison Perkins of Joplin, Mo., Jeffrey Fadely and wife April of Panama City; parents, David and Wanda Perkins of Bartlesville, Okla.; sister, Nancy Russell and husband, Jim of Sherman, Texas ; brother, Donald Perkins and wife, Nan of Houston, Texas ; five grandchildren: Rachael Perkins, Britnie and Travis Fultz, Payton Fadely and Paige Fadely; two nieces and nephews: Sarah and Paul Russell, Libby and David Perkins. Ms. Jenelle Switzer, age 54, of Panama City Beach, Fla., passed away Monday, Oct. 4, 1999, as the result of an industrial incident. She had been a resident of the area for 25 years, coming here from Missouri. Ms. Switzer worked for Smurfit-Stone Container Company and was formerly the Shop Steward of the Mill Support Dept. She was also the past treasurer of Sunbird Condominiums for the Executive Board. She loved the water and enjoyed walking on the beach, but most of all she enjoyed her relationship with God. She was a special person who will be deeply missed by many friends and family. She is survived by a daughter, Vanessa Serio and her husband Scott of Jefferson City, Mo.; her son, Scott Pogue of Panama City Beach, Fla., Leila Ellis of Stockton, Mo.; father, Evert Switzer and his wife Barbara of Sunny Hills, Fla.; a sister, Carol Allgaier of Kansas City, Mo.; and brothers: Randall Switzer of Joplin, Mo. and Charles Switzer of St. Paul, Minn. Ms. Switzer was preceded in death by a daughter, Tracy Pogue. Mrs. Hazel Moree McKinney Wheeler was born on Aug. 10, 1903, in Warren, Ark., to John and Virginia McKinney. She died at her home, 2831 Agnes Scott Drive, Panama City, Fla., on Monday, Oct. 11, 1999. She majored in music at John E. Brown University, Siloam Springs, Ark. and was an accomplished pianist and soloist at Dauphin Way Baptist Church Choir for many years. She was also a member of Northside Baptist Church, the Homemakers Sunday School Class, and the Order of Eastern Star. Mrs. Wheeler moved from Mobile, Ala. to Panama City, Fla. in 1976. She is survived by her son, Clifton McKinney Wheeler and his wife Magdalene of Panama City, Fla.; daughter, Joy Wheeler Rhodes and her husband Louis Arthur of Panama City, Fla.; grandchildren: Sharon Marra of Beaver Creek, Ohio, Clifton M. Wheeler Jr. of Dayton, Ohio, Angela McGuire of Langley Air Force Base, Va., and Stephen Wheeler of Panama City Beach, Fla.; great-grandchildren: Christina Wheeler, Brenna and Zachary McGuire; two very loving nieces: Mabel Givens and her husband Max and Alverne Copeland, all of Warren, Ark. ; and other nieces and nephews. James D. (Don) Woodall, 60, of Orlando, Fla., died Saturday, Oct. 9, 1999, after a brief illness. Mr. Woodall was a retired Navy master chief, born in Amelia, Va. He moved to Central Florida in 1984. He was of Protestant faith. James was a member of Veterans of Foreign War, Vietnam Veterans of America and a Navy veteran of the Vietname War. Survivors include his wife, Christine H.; son, James R. of Orlando; daughters: Sheryl A. Edmunds, Donna C. Vickers and husband Mitchell, Annette C. Edward G. Hatchell (commander U.S. Navy retired), 90, of Largo, Fla., passed away Friday, Oct. 8, 1999, at the department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Bay Pines, Fla. He was a native of Timmonsville, S.C., and moved to Largo in 1957 from Green Cove Springs, Fla. The Commander was a veteran of World War II and Korea. He was a third degree Mason in Philadelphia, Penn. and a member of the Retired Officers Club, MacDill AFB, Tampa, Fla. He is survived by caregiver and friend Cindy Haner of Largo; two daughters: Francette L. Bullock of Lynn Haven and Jacqueline D.
