Mr. Ronnie Dale Gore, age 45, of 6612 Cherry St., Panama City, Fla., died Thursday, Sept. 16, 1999 at a local hospital. He was a life-long resident of the area and attended Callaway Assembly of God Church. Mr. Gore enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing softball. He also was a carpenter, but was disabled. He is survived by his fiancee, Deborah Minor of Panama City, Fla.; son, Jason Blue and his wife of Lucedale, Miss.; his mother, Helen Gore of Panama City, Fla.; a brother, Bobby Gore and his wife Linda of Panama City, Fla.; a granddaughter; and a host of nieces and nephews, loving friends and family members. Mr. Gore was preceded in death by his father, Elbert Gore; brothers, Ricky and Terry Gore; and a sister, Deborah Gore. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, 1999 at Callaway Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Bobby Thompson officiating. Interment will follow at Callaway Cemetery. Asked to serve as active pallbearers are: Greg Hagans, Doug Bailey, Keith Shoemaker, Chris Burkett, Scott Burkett, David Broxson Jr., Joey Broxson and Michael Ramey. Mrs. Phyllis J. Hinz, age 82, of 1220 Emory Drive, Panama City, Fla., died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 1999 at a local hospital. She had been a resident of the area since 1959, coming here from Richmond, Va. Mrs. Hinz was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing and dressmaking. She was also a member of First Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Hinz is survived by her husband, Roland Hinz of Panama City, Fla.; a daughter, Anita Stanley and her husband Wayne of Panama City, Fla.; a sister, Shirley Marazita of Sanford, Fla.; a brother, Alfred Jones and his wife Rosemary of Richmond, Va.; a granddaughter, Jennifer Spikes and her husband Simon of Panama City, Fla.; two great-grandchildren, Tildon Spikes and Shelby Spikes, both of Panama City, Fla.; and three nieces: Patricia Wurst and her husband John of Tallahassee, Fla., Sherry Marazita of Seattle, Wash., and Faye Elliott and her husband Steve of Greensboro, N.C. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. today, Sept. 17, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Walter Cathey officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Treasy D. Kemp, 97, of Wewahitchka, Fla., died Thursday, Sept. 16, 1999 at Gulf Coast Convalescent Center. Born in Esto, Fla., she was a lifelong resident of Wewahitchka. Mrs. Kemp was a housewife and had been a member of the First United Methodist Church of Wewahitchka since 1948. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence L. Kemp. Mrs. Kemp is survived by one son, Schley L. Kemp of Port St. Joe; one daughter, Willard Ann Kemp Messick and husband Leonard of Panama City; four grandchildren: Lisa Moore, Lori Cohee, Lawrence Kemp and Stacy Bryan; three great-grandchildren: Haley Moore, Cameron Cohee and Ember Bryan; special nieces, Linda Bancroft and husband Terry and Henrietta Branch and husband Freddie; and many other nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Kemp will be conducted Saturday, Sept. 18, at 3 p.m. in First United Methodist Church of Wewahitchka with the Rev. John Kramer officiating. Interment will follow in the Kemp Cemet ery at Wetappo Creek. Mrs. Ruby Evelyn Price, a native of Gulf County, passed away Wednesday evening, Sept. 15, 1999, in Blountstown Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie W. Price. She is survived by nine children: Charles Strickland of Wewahitchka, Louise Tolbert of Callaway, Edna Mae Gaskin of Wewahitchka, Pat McNeil of Callaway, Jackie Woods of Crossett, Ark., Wayne Price of Wewahitchka, Michael Price of Kindard, Linda Butz of Georgia, and Tamesa Yarbrough of Gautier, Miss.; 18 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Kathryn Danley of Dalkeith and Juanita Schneider of Texas ; and one brother, Hildrey Strickland of Boston, Mass. The funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. CST today, Sept. 17, 1999, at Glad Tiding Assembly of God Church, conducted by the Rev. Neal Miller and the Rev. Claude McGill. Mr. Walter Dill "W.D." Sapp, age 82, of 328 Leila Ave., Panama City, Fla., died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 1999 at a local hospital. He had been a resident of the area since 1950, coming here from Chipley, Fla.. Mr. Sapp served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He also was a member of St. Andrew Baptist Church, the Ira Lindsey Masonic Lodge No. 365 and retired from International Paper Co. Mr. Sapp is survived by his wife, Thelma Sapp of Panama City, Fla.; son, Wallace Earl Sapp of Panama City, Fla.; two daughters, Shirley Ann Suber of Moultrie, Ga., and Mildred Carol Gray of Lynn Haven, Fla.; a sister, Myrtle Diehl of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Davis of Panama City; three daughters: Ginny Smith of Snellville, Ga., Trisha Knox of Chatsworth, Ga., and Rachel Ivey of Fayetteville, Ga.; a son, Paul F. Little of Lilburn, Ga.; and nine grandchildren. Graveside services for Mrs. Davis will be Monday, Sept. 20, at 1 p.m. in Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Tucker, Ga., with Pastor Gary Franklin officiating.
