A native of St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, she moved to this area 20 years ago from Jamaica. She was a retired nurse's aide in home health care.
She is survived by a son, Raymond of Lakewood, Ohio; a daughter, Janice White of Port Richey; two sisters, Hope Smith of Toronto and Merlyn Kanchelow of Denver, and four grandchildren.

EDWARD W. HESSLER Sr., 83, of Bayonet Point died Wednesday at Columbia New Port Richey Hospital.
A native of New York City, he moved to this area 18 years ago from Holbrook, N.Y.
He was a retired photo engraver, a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Hudson, Beacon Woods Civic Association in Bayonet Point, and the Photo Engravers Union.
He is survived by his wife, Eveland; five sons, John of San Diego, Edward of Mount Sinai, N.Y., Michael of Lady Lake, James of Perkasie, Pa., and Thomas of Redway, Calif.; two sisters, Katherine Young of Somerset, N.J., and Dorothy Peck; 17 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

JOHN B. HOPKINS, 85, of Port Richey died Thursday at Vencor Hospital in Tampa.
A native of Washington , D.C., he moved to this area 26 years ago from Rockville, Md. He was a retired machine maintenance man for the Central Intelligence Agency, an Army veteran of World War II, and Episcopalian.
He is survived by two daughters, Lisa Brassard of Port Richey, and Linda Fox of New Port Richey; a sister, Helen Haywood of Bethesda, Md.; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
